I've visited this Salon on Saturday, February 3. I received a French manicure and a pedicure or by Sunday afternoon on my right hand all of the white from the French manicure on my middle finger my ring finger and my pointer head peeled off today is Monday, February 5 I stopped in to the salon to show them what happened to my nails their response was not gel it won't last long I said it won't last more than two days they shook their head and said no not more than two days what a waste of money they should have a sign like that posted in the door I would certainly think when you're paying for a manicure that your nail polish will stay on more than 48 hours I was advised by my host not to visit this salon but against their recommendations I chose this salon so sorry I did such a waste of money and time shame shame read more

I used to come here quite a bit and stopped because of poor service and the time to get nails done although they always did a good job. They have done a complete 360 starting with new management! Refreshed paint, new nail techs, much cleaner look and feel and the prices are better. I got a pedi today and it was amazing! Everyone was friendly and it was just the relaxing time I needed today to unwind and get ready for the weekend! Please don't judge from the old reviews...things have changed. This place is just ok, and sometimes not great. I live in the area so its more about convenience then quality. I find the service rushed, and lacking in consistency. I wish they had more fresh colors too, seems like the same colors all year. The owner is good but rarely provides services. I wish this place was better. read more

First off, I admit that I don't usually do pedicures. I rather spend my money on something else- like food! However, my sister was in town and wanted to take me and my 6 year old daughter to get pedicures for her birthday. We wanted to all 3 get done at the same time with short notice and this place could accomodate us. They have 7 massaging pedicure chairs in a row. The wash, trim, massage and paint was just okay. And for $25 per person, plus tip I thought that was expensive. The service was ugh... they didn't speak English or interact with us... only with each other. read more

Went for a manicure pedicure paid extra for callous remover, came back the next day to show them the sharp skin that was not removed and they didn't want to make it right. That's fine they lost a good customer over a 10 min fix. read more

I had been using the same nail tech for almost 10 years but she left so I was looking for a new salon. I have been here ( so far) for 2 pedicures ( the young man who did them both times does a great job) and so far 1 new set of acrylics (different guy, but he also did a great job). I will see how my new set holds up and go back for my fill and update my review to see if we can add another star. Very friendly, walk ins and appointments available. read more

This place is gross. It's dirty and I have even seen cockroaches here. They are definitely rude. The younger girl, lisa is very sweet but between how run down and dirty it is and how inappropriately the owner dresses, I would rather drive 30 mins to a clean reputable place vs. get my nails done in this dump. read more

I went in and was surprised to be the only customer. I went in around 2 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. It was slightly awkward because the man who did my nails did not really say one word to me. I asked him to cut my nails short but he did not listen and kept them long. I am slightly annoyed. He did an okay job, mediocre. My nails are a little bit messy. I think that the prices are too high. I did appreciate the nice atmosphere, the salon was good nice looking in comparison to other salons in the area. read more

I came here to get a simple fill and a color change. I asked for a gel French tip and I walked out with my nails looking worse than what they did when I first walked in. The nail tech did a bad job with the fill and he didn't even fully remove the color that was there before. He did a horrible job with the gel French tip that I asked for.. it looks like it was done by a 5 year old. This is by far the worst nail job I've ever had and I won't be coming back. Poor customer service. Went in to get my eyebrows and lip waxed since its down the street from work. The final result was ok however she didn't even realize that the wax was bit hot and didn't clean the area before waxing like they normally do. When she did the cooling gel after the wax it was only like a drop and with that she rubbed the poor cotton ball with excessive force to ensure that the drop was enough. To top it off she went ahead and applied wax to a place in my lower lip which has NEVER bothered me and she said that I needed it and was not going to charge me for it. If I need it or not its my call to make not hers. It is safe to say I will not be returning. read more

I've tried 2 times to be seen for a pedicure/manicure here and both times I've been rudely turned away 1. Called one Sunday at 4:30pm to see if they were open, a girl answered the phone and said "yes we are open, what were you looking to get done?" I told her a pedicure - she paused and I heard some mumbling over the phone, she then went on to saying that they weren't accepting walk ins anymore, she was very short and rude. Why ask someone what they want to get done and then turn away business! You close at 5! 2. Walked in at 5:45pm for a quick pedicure and was sent out the door within the first 10 seconds. I didn't even pick up the pen to sign in. The guy there asked me what I wanted to get done, before I could even finish the word "pedicure" he rudely looked at clock and said without acknowledging me - mind you, he was sitting with a client getting her nails done (rude) - "we probably won't even get to you, it's going to be a long long long wait". There were two other ladies there waiting to get their nails done and they both looked shocked at his response - I wouldn't be surprised if they walked out after me! If that's the way they treat their customers before closing hours (they close at 7pm) I don't even wanna know how inconsiderate they must be with their work. Recommendation to all my nail girls - please choose wisely where it is you go to get your nails done and never disregard quality customer service. read more

A man named Sonny that works here is extremely disrespectful. I called and had to change my appointment and he said "You had to change your appointment like 3 times. Only walk ins for you from now on." You never say something like that to a customer. He will cost this business alot of money with his sh*tty attitude. I would recommend Kathy's Nails on 35th and Southern. Great service and the owner Kathy is AWESOME. Dont waste your money on U Nails. read more

I stopped at this place on my way into work knowing that I an extra hour to kill and needed a basic fill hoping to not end up with anything too boring. I got there 5 minutes before they were supposed to open at 9:00, the owner opened the door at 9:05 no biggie we all run late but then told me to wait another 5 minutes for another tech to show up. After waiting 10 mins she told me to go and sit #7 and she took a seat took one look at my nails and looked overwhelmed and irritated b/c I had jewels she needed to clip off before starting. She took another 4 or so mins to get a total of 2 of my gems off (they were basic gems that all nail places use) she hears the door in the back and before the guy could get to the front she was yelling for him to take over my fill. So she moves me over to another station and I wait another 5 minutes for him to get in and settled while no progress is being made on my nails (I'll get back to the owner in a minute) A 20 something guy comes to start...some of my best nails have come from guys doing em so don't think that's where this went bad...he sits down looking tired and not saying anything not one word. As it went on it just got more and more awkward as time went by without him saying anything and even more because he took way longer than any other fill I've ever gotten because he was a super perfectionist killing time for the teeniest detail that wasn't even noticeable to me. The 1st time he said one word was when my nails were already filled and ready to be polished and he tried to up sell me to the colored gel for an extra $5 which I turned down. As I'm going to wash my hands I noticed the owner that seemed to busy to do my nails was sitting directly behind me watching some show on her Ipad. All in all it wasn't one huge thing that will make this shop loose my future business but with poor customer service, plus taking way too long for a simple fill and in my opinion too steep of prices. read more

Their work ethic is poor worst customer service ever! one of the male employees was entirely rude made horrible rude remarks and my acrylic nails looked a mess they didn't last long either. as for the other two female employees they don't do what the customers ask and they have poor listening skills never going back and I don't recommend it to anyone either save your time and money read more

I love this place I have been everywhere and I always end up here. I have even been to Dolce Spa. This is the only place I like how they do my gel nails Tracy does a really good job and the price is good compare to other fancy places I been to. They are really clean with their pedicures they clean the tub with bleach and disinfectant they disinfect all nail clippers and tools the they use before each use. read more

I've been a long time customer of this salon for the past 7 year. It took the owner (Tracy) 6 years to know my name. 3 years ago when I got my wedding nails done, sonny split my middle finger wide open and my finger bled for a long time. Just what I wanted... a big gash that was going to show up in my wedding photos. They didn't offer a discount or anything. After continuing to come to this salon, the quality of the acrylic nails have turned to crap. Several times the day after getting my nails done I end up with a broken one. two days later another broken one. Within 5 days I had 4 broken nails, and less than two weeks I had 6 broken nails. I spend at least $40 on nails, gel, and designs every 2-3 weeks. This has been a growing trend over the past few months. I'm done going to this salon... wish I would have moved on sooner. read more

These people do not use sanitary tools, I got a mani pedi two weeks ago and now I have a foot fungus

Everytime i come here there are always new workers, which to begin with says something bad about the salon. everytime i go it is a terrible experience(but its the closet to my home!) This time however has lead me to write a review! The guy was very aggressive with my hands. Gave me gel which i didnt ask for it and he DIDNT ask me if i wanted it. I did want it but he should always ask before giving someone something of extra charge! Also he cut me on numerous nails!! The stuff he put on my nails burned really bad and it was hard to relax wondering if im going to get cut again! Now 3 days later my skin around ALL my nails are peeling and dry. They burn and bleed. I will never return. VERY Nice salon but horrible costumer service!!!! read more

I recently moved down the street from this salon and having a once-a-month need for a pedicure, I decided to try them out. The salon is nice, although in bad need of dusting. The staff isn't overly friendly, nor are they rude. The spa chairs were awful, I couldn't get comfortable the entire time and that's my favorite part. The services were ok, I paid $7 extra dollars for callous removal and he barely scrubbed my feet. Overall, there was nothing special about this place and I won't be going back. read more

I called, made an appointment for 11:05a.m. Approximately 11:05-11:07a.m. I called asking where the location was in the complex with respect to the other businesses (fitness center, dairy queen, etc.). The man on the phone only repeated "we are in the same complex" and could not tell me which business they were next to. As a result, I circled the complex for a few more minutes (of course, I'm a first time customer and new to Phoenix). When I arrived at 11:12a.m. they were not ready for me. Fine. I waited until 11:30a.m. and they still were not ready for me. I asked one of the ladies when they would be ready for me, I had an appointment at 11:05a.m. and she responded (pointing at the clock) "you were late." No apologies, no exception that that her coworker couldn't tell me their location, and I was "at the complex" on time and would have been there at 11:05a.m. if he could tell me the location. Regardless, for argument's sake, if a customer doesn't even call and is 7 MIN late you take another customer AND you point at a clock when they ask when they will be ready! Wow, I'm never coming back. read more
