I offered to catheter myself to provide a drug test if they would get me a catheter from the urgent care on the other side the nurse told me they had bad blood with them! I asked for an oral swab they said they don't do that! I offered a hair follical test they don't do it! But I'm in renal kidney failure and can't provide a UA for that reason and they make no concessions and say your treatment will be drastically impacted if I can't, but I haven't been able to except for one or two times a day! In all reality the doctor that graduated from college should have said I should go to the emergency room, knowing I have multiple myeloma and that's the situation. Also that I have renal kidney failure ! Make your own decisions, but even a medical malpractice lawyer could see this is negligible! Just saying! Especially after reading everything they did and didn't write in my chart and all those patients who gave me their names in the waiting room. I never received any communication from them or a bill for the service prior to being notified I was being sent to collections. I could not find any information about this company online. They didn't have a website. I called several different phone numbers and kept being sent to someone else. I ended up needing to contact the collections agency to resolve the account, which I was hoping to avoid as I do not want a mark on my credit for a bill I was never sent. Absolutely atrocious quality of service. The staff at SSC were awesome from the first walk through the door to escorting me to my car after the procedures. I was the first procedure of the day. I was greeted and taken back by Wendy who was an absolute HOOT. She had me laughing and joking and so relaxed, I never gave another thought to anything negative. I was greeted by several other nurses and attendants, my doctor, the anesthetist...and each and everyone I met was pleasant, seemed happy to be there and it made me happy to be there too. The center is easy to locate from South Durango Drive, while their main entrance is privately on…read morethe north side of the building. Through the main doors, the clinic (urgent care) is located through the right doors and the surgical center is located through the left doors. I escorted my mother to the urgent care center, so my experience is based on that area. My first impression was that it's really nice. The waiting area is extremely clean, furnished with beautiful and comfortable chairs (I did peer into the surgical center and it is just as nice). The receptionists were professional, kind, and very pleasant. This atmosphere made me feel welcome and comfortable to trust this team to take care of my mom and in the future, myself. My mom also had a pleasant time with the doctor on staff today. She said he was very nice. FYI: Patients with insurance pay $40/visit, due immediately. Also, the hours are different for the two areas. Both centers are open on weekdays (8am - 6pm), however, the urgent care center closes early at 4:30pm on Fridays. They're closed on weekends. Surgical Center: Mon-Fri: 8:00am - 6:00pm Sat-Sun: CLOSED Clinic (Urgent Care): Mon-Thurs: 8:00am - 6:00pm Fri: 8:00am - 4:30pm Sat-Sun: CLOSED
