Amy and Donna have been a constant source of helpfulness during the last two years. Due to the wonky hours they've been told to follow (later openings, and closed for lunch) Amy and Donna go the extra mile to help people by pulling business night drops 2x a day- instead of just the morning (like many other banks). I can't tell you how many times I've squeaked in just before lunch break to make a deposit and get a change order. Each time I am helped with a big smile. I would definitely recommend the Los Molinos Umpqua Bank and in particular to see Amy and Donna.

Chase isn't the best bank to do in person banking at ... and I don't think they try to be or want…read moreto. Seems they'd rather have everything done online or basically NOT in person at a "branch". Not a lot of service tellers on duty and there's long waits. I don't normally come here for just that reason, but only when I have work related banking business to do. My work uses Chase and I suppose they do have locations in a lot of cities. I can pay my credit card bills here if I want, but usually all that's done online. I wish my work would switch to a better bank, but I suppose there's reason for business that I don't know about.

I moved over to let the only other customer in the bank do her business while I opened my own account on line. After going to my car I realized there was Bo option during the online process to order checks so I returned inside to another teller expecting a more helpful demeanor but no... that teller had the same rude tone and when I asked if checks would be mailed to me with my atm she rudely said no... if you want checks we have to order them for you. I will be shopping for a new bank. This branch certainly is not interested in keeping customers.

I went in to find out what I could do and was told I had to get my daughter. Went home and got her (she was home with a back injury which is why she didn't go in the first place) came back and she gave them her school ID well that wasn't good enough so we went home to get her passport out of the lock box...drove all the way back and Jose Cortez laughed and said "Oh well I shredded the card". I admit things got heated. I said some things I regret bu he did it out of spite. He could have told us he had to shred it before we made 2 more trips back and forth. He is a snotty little man who needs a stern talking to by his boss on customer relations.
