    This is based on the service I've received as a customer for Verizon, as a company; not this…read morelocation itself. My parents had Verizon when I was growing up and so I decided to sign up as well. I had a great conversation with the person who set the account up for my sister, my wife and I. They even gave me a $25 discount. A little after that I added the ACP to our account and that gave us an additional $30 discount which put us at a $55 discount. (We are all struggling students so it was critical to lower our bill) A year later, my sister tried to add an additional student discount but instead it cancelled out our $25 discount. When I called Verizon they said they couldn't do anything about it. That it was gone. I was angry. But we let it go and moved on. We still had a $30 discount due to the ACP program. But then the ACP stopped getting funded and they removed the $30 discount from our account. They do offer Verizon Forward but it's only eligible for Verizon FIOS customers. A service that isn't even offered in my location. I recommend you go elsewhere for cellular services. Verizon is overpriced and will make their prices look pretty to hook you in then they screw you over later and take your money.

    First time I went in with my husband and there was one service person chatting with a friend. We…read morelooked around, interested in trading up on the phone we had. We looked and looked, shelves pretty much empty. He never asked us if we needed help, so after half an hour, we just left. Since then my husband has passed. His cell phone with $110 a month service for just two phones, was not holding a charge. So I purchased a used phone on eBay in exc. condition, recent model. I called to see if they could help me set it up. They said no because my husband's name was on the account. No amount of ID would be acceptable. I was told to contact his daughter to ask if she could update the name, authorize me to be the other user. I asked if they could set me up with a new iPhone 17 Pro no charge, and they said yes. But, when I asked if they could set up the number and move over the contacts, they sent me to another place in town that will charge me. They said they did not do any set ups at all at their store. For $110 a month when other carriers charge as little as $15-30 a month. They should offer customer service because there's no other reason to use them. If it were up to me, I would drop them right now.

They were super friendly, chatting me up and distracting me the whole time, 3 sales people. Then I go home and do some research and realize I was sold an upgraded business plan when I wanted the cheapest plan (it's around $30/month). I would complain to corporate or the store but the person whose name is on the account they seemed to be training. I doubt it's really his fault they treat customers this way. But jeez, DO NOT GO TO THE STORE - they will over sell you and make you think they're you're friend the whole time.

    Garbage. Online credit card payment systems hardly ever works right, so I have to use the over the…read morephone system or pay in person, at the physical store, both which add on a nice 5.00 "convenience" fee. How that's convenient is beyond me but perhaps it's because, according to the store "manager" I need to listen more and pay better attention, as to how that's any of his concern, I am again, at a loss. Anyway, all time past I've had this issue, either customer service or the store, depending on how the payment was made at the time, has addressed and rectified the situation. This gentleman, who appeared very disturbed and inconvenienced by having to put his phone down to get up and serve a customer, plain flatly refused, claiming his inability to do so even though the problem was on their end and on top of which he was rude, dismissive and insulting. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I'd suggest anyone else not wanting to be ripped off, insulted and treated like crap for the privilege of being lied to and ripped off for cell service that's mediocre at best, do the same.
