We received stellar service from Wes today at your 220 Ne Beacon Dr Grants Pass, OR 97526 address. We recently took over a business which meant we needed to transfer the previous owners phone numbers to one of our old phones. As a result of this swap, we dropped calls. Customers kept calling our other line telling us the main line was disconnected. What a nightmare! Who knows how many crucial calls we missed? Wes flew in like Batman, sans the cape and accessories, and saved the DAY like the total superhero he is. His suggestion, we swap to a new phone. (my old phone never worked right anyway) It sounded really complicated...we needed to swap to one phone, then the other, then back again....I think Wes saw my eyes glaze over and my jaw drop because the man literally then proceeded to draw me a schematic of how this phone switchy-switch was going to happen. He brought the technical jargon down to my level. Not only was the whole process done quickly, but it was done with ZERO hiccups. I came in ready for delays and hiccups. I came in expecting no less than a two hour process. We were done in under an hour and started getting customer calls while still in the store!!! Wes also went above and beyond and got our phone to properly display our business name when we make outgoing calls. Something that I have been nagging my business partner to take care of since at last November. He even called our phones to make sure that they were working AND to make sure the name read properly. What's more; He even put the phone in the protective case for us. What an absolute legend! 5/5 stars. I appreciate the customer service, the business transition has been incredibly stressful, but with his patience, kindness and efficiency he removed one more weight from my shoulders. They need more people with better customer service! If you go here you can always expect a wait or for them to close early. I hate us cellular! I asked for a text or call since there where at least half dozen people in front me. No they won't do that. Verizon will! But dammit 1 star * at least there is service at my house. read more

This company is fraudulent. I went in there in November to close an account due to my father passing. They insisted that they would need to leave the line on for one additional month and that they would be bill my dad accordingly. I had to re-advise them multiple times that my dad had no means of paying when deceased and wanted line closed that day. At that time I also closed an additional line on my account. Today, over 1 month later I note that my bill has not decreased and see that the line is still intact. When I call to inquire they said that line was never requested to be turned off and that do to no record of this action they would not be able to back date the request for closure until today, even though it is obvious that it has not been used. I advised that I went into their location to request this on both accounts and the agent helping me advised that I would have to call to make such changes which she helped me with in store. So, your telling me that two different agents I spoke to documented this incorrectly, oh, wow, and what do you know, they got an additional month of billing to collect on. I was a US Cellular customer for decades. Left them for a few years then came back. Been with them a couple years now. Had the Samsung S7 which didn't seem to get service too well. After paying down phone, upgraded to a Motorola G6 Play as I heard the service seemed better. After a month the phone started having charging issues. Took phone in to get checked and found out that when I switched phones the customer service person upgraded my plan when I had gotten the new phone even though he did not ask me if I wanted to change plans, he just did it on his own. He failed to tell me that the cost was more, also he discontinued my phone protection, probably so I wouldn't notice the monthly increase in cost. I was told that my phone was still under warranty though even though I didn't have protection. They said the phone was defective and I would need to turn it in for a new one... At an additional cost of $50.00! Really? I have a defective phone that I've had a month and I have to pay $50.00 more to get a working one? Also phone protection would cost an extra $10.00 a month. So I asked for my old phone plan back so I wouldn't be paying so much and was told they no longer had it and I couldn't go back to it. Really? I didn't even ask to have the new plan. A note also, is that the phone I upgraded to was cheaper than the last phone I had so my monthly cost should have went down but now because of what they did my cost will go up and also now I will have to pay an extra $50.00 for a phone that works. What if the next phone has the same issue? Do customers just keep paying $50.00 until they get a working phone? read more

Went to us celluler to pay my bill waited for 15 minutes then I went up to 2 workers that were not with customers and asked if I could pay my bill. The worker Ken said can't you see we're busy will be with you when we get time I said can't somebody help me have been waiting for over 15 minutes Ken was rude and when I asked with there any place else I could pay my bill he said down the street.. So I left. That place is always takes at least a 1/2 an hour. It shouls have somebody that just takes money. I went down To US siskyou Cellular the girl Erica stopped what she was doing and said she was alone and it would be 30 minutes. I came back and she was kind and polite took my money. THAT is service. Guess I will go to them in future. Since Ken at other one can't be polite to paying customers. read more

Terrible wait time. The wait alone was almost 2 hours. I've tried simply getting a phone turned on over the last couple days and I keep getting told that the service is down for the whole system. Then I tried to finally try to get the phone turned on activated they said that the phone was no good and it's a brand new US Cellular phone they were having problems programming it. US Cellular used to be really good but I have to say the service is really gone downhill. If I wasn't in a contract I would choose Verizon. read more

I have been a US Cellular customer for over 20 years. That alone should tell you that I am older and I need occasional help with my phone. I have been into the store about every six months for the last couple of years because I keep getting messages that I'm low on space. About 6 months ago, the US Cellular agent talked me into cloud storage and also helped me install a very large SD card. He supposedly set my phone to save everything in those two places. And yet, I again got the message that I was low on space. So I take the phone in and the young agent takes 1.5 hours to completely delete all of the photos on my phone without checking to see if they were backed up anywhere (they weren't). She also broke the SD card tray on my phone. Both National customer service and the local store manager tell me there is nothing they can do. No compensation of any kind. I will be changing carriers as soon as I have time to deal with it. read more
