Went in and spoke to a Leticia, who was extremely rude. My contact information was originally put in incorrectly the day before when I had to go in because no one answers the phone and she had no patience to assist me with further issues. The Portal shows I have two appointments scheduled and she couldn't care less about that. "Don't know a thing about the Portal" was the response. Didn't offer any other help with my issue. I came on Tuesday to see Dr Rubin for a skin assessment + going over some of my skin concerns. Didn't spend much time checking my skin, looking at any moles or brown spot. He then asked for any concerns I have. I mentioned to him I have some Cherry Anginomas on my skin and he can remove them easily. He quoted me $150 for 14 spots. I decided to the light solution on 2 test spots. I paid the full $150 which is for a 14 spots (I thought I would pay like $22 for the 2 spots only). After I paid, I spoke to his PA/Assistant and she knew I wanted to treat the other 12 since I already paid for it. She spoke to the Dr. and he did not have enough time to treat the rest at the time and asked me to make a new Appt, and she would make sure it is documented I paid in full. The entire front desk heard it. Today, was my new appointment, and I was told by another PA that I need to pay another $150 to treat the rest, despite what I was told on Tuesday. SO, they could have taken care of the other 12 spots on Tuesday if they really wanted to, but in order to charge me again, they asked me to make a new Appt and lied to me. What a SCAM/FRAUD this place is. I already disputed the charge. STAY AWAY from this office. The American Greed at its best. Please go elsewhere for your dermatology needs read more

Here is the problem. As long as ANY PRACTICE is affiliated with THIS HOSPITAL (above), you risk your very life each time you trust this practice with your health. If you look at the replies to negative reviews, they use a copy and paste, they do not answer the actual complaint, nore do they care. I would die, before I would ever trust these people. Texas is rife with fake medical licenses, given credit and reciprocity from countries that give out fake licenses. No verification. You cannot even be sure these people are actual doctors as they do not have to take the Texas Boards and given automatic licensure in many cases. So, a High School graduate, can a week later, call himself or herself a doctor and provide FAKE credentials and educational materials. Then, Texas has a 250k Med-Malpractice cap. So, even if you are maimed for life, the most you can get is 25k. That in most cases would not cover one year of round the clock care. Basically, they can maim and paralyze you and you just have to take it, lay down and die. Any practice who aligns themselves with this hospital, should never, ever, be trusted. look at the link, rated all D's and F's. I love Dr Strickland. I have nothing against assistants or a PA but I rather be told in advance that a doctor won't be able to see me. If the doctor is not available, I rather change my appointment for a time when the doctor is available. read more

This was my first time at a dermatologist so I didn't know what to expect. I told the doctor my skin concerns and he just quickly looked at my face and prescribed me two topical ointments that are very expensive. I called to speak to someone and have left several messages, no one has called me back at all. I will be finding another dermatologist because the lack of customer service and communication is not good. read more

The worst dermatologist experience. They lack attention to detail and expertise. Saw Dr. Howard Rubin, they completely overcharged for services. I have never been billed in excess of insurance at a dermatologist, especially for the most minor visit. When I questioned it, the billing went out of house and said it was out of their control. My entire interaction with the doctor was less than 10 minutes. read more

I went to visit Dr. Sitabkhan for an annual skin check and Botox. This was my first time visiting her and U.S. Dermatology Partners. The visit could not have gone better. Dr. Sitabkhan was very thorough, clearly explained everything, and had a fantastic personality. I cannot recommend her enough. I was seen on time, greeted immediately after entering the office, and honestly, I wasn't there for long - to get GREAT results. Just go already! =) read more

I had a rash come up on my body and made an appointment to see Dr. Kuruvilla. He had something come up, so my appointment was changed to the following day at a different office location. I had to move my schedule around, which was frustrating, but the overall friendly and hygienic demeanor of Dr. Kuruvilla and staff of US Dermatology Partners exceeded my expectations. It was a brief interaction with the doctor but he confidently diagnosed my rash as Psoriasis and thoroughly explained the medications he was prescribing as well as ensuring they were low cost with the GoodRX coupon they'd provide because I was paying out of pocket. I am SO glad Dr. Kivelevitch and US Dermatology Partners cancelled my appointment because I was able to get a next-day appointment with North Dallas Dermatology and they were fantastic!!! Really worked out for me as I got a much better experience with North Dallas Derm!!! read more

Very bad experience with this dermatologist. I got a notice that Dr Patel was no longer affiliated. The others didn't impress me either.

Dr. Rubin is an excellent dermatologist who takes great care of his patients. However, his customer service team ESPECIALLY JOSELYN AND ROBIN could care less if you get your medication. They will send it to the wrong pharmacies, hang up in your face if they see you call back to back, NOT UPDATE YOUR INSURANCE EVEN WHEN YOU'VE CALLED 2x FOR THEM TO DO SO. They will be as non-cholant as ever and I'm sorry, but if you work in the medical field you should care about the patients, especially them getting their medication. It's not OK that they have you running around in circles A MONTH AND A HALF LATE ON YOUR PRESCRIPTION. Robin just told me on the phone it's not her responsibility to figure out which pharmacy is in my network? Don't you work at a Dr's office? I called back because I had another question and she hung up in my face. Dr. Rubin is excellent, but his customer service team will make you run for the hills. Also, if they say that they're going to call you back, it's going to be in the last 10 minutes before they close so if you miss it you'll repeat the cycle the next day. read more

Don't expect to be able to reach anyone by phone here, and don't expect competent service either. I went to have my moles looked at last year in January. I had to have an argument with their receptionist about my co-pays because I'd already met my out of pocket for the year and they neither believed me or bothered checking. I got a clean bill of health from the doctor, only to have that same doctor call me back in March stating that they were iffy on one of them (that I'd pointed out as potentially cancerous). So I go in and they clip the mole, and I get a bill about the melanoma test a few months later because they sent it to a facility that was not in network, which sucked, and it would have been covered 100% otherwise. Fast forward this year, and like 2 days before the inclement weather we had this year I get an automated notice that my appointment was cancelled; again no way of getting a hold of them (they don't seem capable of answering phones) and absolutely no call backs. I will be getting my dermatology work done elsewhere, and I suggest you do to. read more

I cannot believe I wasted my time and money on this visit. Not only is the office hard to get to (parking nightmare), but the doctor was so out of touch with patient/doctor communication. I recently traveled to the Caribbean and developed an awful rash on the first day of travel. It was red and itchy then followed by blisters. The rash was everywhere on my body: lips, chest, fingers, arms, and severe on my right thigh. I was not laying at the pool or beach all day, so the sudden allergic reaction had me very worried. On my return to the country, I couldn't bear the discomfort and scheduled a consultation via Teledoc. I was able to get my hands-on prescription that helped my rash but was told to see a dermatologist in person for follow-up. One week later, I still have the rash and visited Dr. Abraham Kuruvilla at US Dermatology Partners. He walked in and told me that I must have spilled a margarita on my leg and thus had a reaction to it. Are you kidding me? I don't even drink margaritas! Is that professional advice from a specialist? I didn't go to a family medicine practice, I went to see a dermatologist to seek professional help on my condition. It is obviously a condition as I tried to explain to him that this has happened in the past but never as severe as this past trip. He didn't care to listen, he just kept telling me that "only time would tell" and requested that I follow-up in a month or so. NEVER! He did not swab me or test my skin for any allergies. I was so flabbergasted when he shushed me out the door, that I left as fast as I could. I was furious that I was charged for this visit, as the information he provided I had already obtained from googling my symptoms. read more

Dr. Phillips was so attentive! I didn't know I was highly allergic to poison ivy - and developed BIG WELTS on my arm as a result of gardening (and not realizing I was touching poison ivy). Dr Rubin has always been my go to Dermatologist since one of my good friends referred me to his office. I really appreciate the time and care that he provides his patients. . Most times he does a thorough full body examination which I appreciate. I am 62 years old and have experienced much sun exposure from working outdoors and participating in sports most of my life. Have experienced many basal cells and ak's but with Dr Rubins help, none of them have been to extensive in their treatment. What I like most about Dr Rubin is that he discusses the patients conditions and together we formulate a plan of treatment that best suits my needs. read more

I came in a month ago to see Dermatologist Trisha Patel primarily for a rash and secondarily for an acne breakout I was having. We very specifically talked about how my acne was more than likely due to excessive androgens and how spironolactone specifically treats that issue. She said she would call in a prescription for both the rash and the spironolactone but only one for the rash got called in. I tried to call her office but they were already closed for the day. I tried again a couple days later but no one picked up or responded. I tried again a couple of weeks after that and could not get through to anyone for over a week. Finally when they called me back, they said she would have to see me again because she doesn't remember talking about my acne. Seriously? So I have to take time out of my work schedule and my finances just to accommodate the fact that she didn't execute her job accurately in the first place? Ridiculous! read more
