They've been holding 3 packages of mine for a week and a half now, saying each day that they're out for delivery, and then rescheduling them for the next day, blaming the weather from 2 weeks ago. The roads have been clear for over a week now, and I have had multiple deliveries since from all the other majors- USPS, FedEx, WalMart, and Amazon. This ups location has been holding my packages for 10 days straight now. They first arrived 2/1/26. I understand the initial delay but since they put priority on new packages coming in, they now have trailers and trailers full of extra packages that will get delivered eventually. How can UPS improve? They can start by actually delivering packages within a month. Package on truck... No delivery. Lather rinse and repeat for weeks. Blame the weather when no one else is having a problem. Customer service gives excuses, no one is accountable, no one cares. You have one job And half the time they do deliver packages they are either to the wrong address or damaged. There is no mere tweak that can be made to fix how broken UPS and specifically this location are. The entire organization needs to just be run out of business Don't use UPS in this area. I am having the same experience as others below. I am now up to three different packages that UPS has said were "on the truck" and "out for delivery" four days in a row and each day an "exception" supposedly caused by an "emergency situation" or "severe weather" has prevented delivery. UPS is as bad, if not worse, than the USPS. If there was a rating below 1 star, I would use it. UPS has now RE-scheduled to deliver a package to me for the fourth time in five days. The UPS facility is 7 miles north of my home. There have been UPS trucks in my neighborhood every day this week. Every day I receive an email that my package will be delivered that day. Then by 6pm I receive another email stating my package is rescheduled for delivery the following day. This process has repeated four times. Lazy driver. Lazy distribution center workers. Inept management. Or, perhaps a thief. The package I am expecting contains 120 of ammunition. Three years ago I proved an item valued at over $600 was stolen by a UPS employee. This office is a disaster. This is the second time a large package just simply disappeared. I honestly feel it was stolen. There's no accountability in this office. I had a special gift for a birthday and suddenly a large box with four bottles of wine disappeared with no scanning once it arrived at Springfield location. Second time a product arise at the Springfield office and suddenly disappears a large box which is highly unlikely. I honestly believe workers steal stuff here. How else do you explain this? Day after day, they delay delivery of my package due to weather, despite the fact the weather is fine.

To further support the 07/26/2024 rating I gave UPS. UPS committed fraud by claiming an attempted delivery. See the attached document, which contains the tracking information. I have been home all day. There is also video evidence that no such attempted delivery was made. I have security camera evidence that no UPS truck or personnel came to my house all day long. Looks like someone else is having the same problem--no deliveries for over a week. They push back delivery day after day and there is no customer counter to pick up packages myself. Lost my wife's RA meds - a $5K loss. You go on the Internet and try to find a telephone number to contact the UPS distribution center and there's no way to contact these people to try to track down the package that's stuck there facility for over two weeks. read more

PLEASE stop lying about the delivery day... 99% of the time I do not care what day the package actually arrives, but I need to know that morning if its arriving today so I can leave work to bring it inside off my porch. But day after day after day the tracking says "out for delivery" but the package never comes!! Be realistic about the logistics of the routes you're covering and either hire more drivers or stop over extending the ones you have. read more

I ordered a product from 3chi on Sept. 30. It was shipped via UPS. Tracking showed it was to be delivered to me on Oct. 2. It was not. Then tracking showed (and still shows) it was at the Springfield, VA UPS location on that same date. It's still there and no one can explain why it can't be shipped to me. One error after another. - I received an email saying I would be getting a package that required a signature to receive. I wasn't available on the day scheduled, so I tried to use the online service to change the date or location. But a got a "technical error" message from UPS every time. - I called the UPS phone number, but was told I had to talk to some sort of "emergency" number, and that even that number was closed for the day. I was then told to go online to reschedule. Which is what I had tried to do in the first place - The next day I finally got the online rescheduler to work. I provided a new address (next door to me) and point of contact to sign for the package. I got a confirmation of the change back from UPS - When I checked with my neighbor, the package hadn't been delivered. Late that evening, they went by my house and found it on my porch. - I received an email from UPS telling me the package had been delivered and signed for by ME! I was over a thousand miles away, and UPS was documenting that I signed for a package at a place I'd told them not to deliver it. read more

Had a package sent to the wrong address and was undeliverable. After multiple calls between the company and UPS I finally got them to hold it here. Went early in the morning and there was no line. Lady was nice enough but kept asking that I was sure the package was there, like she couldn't find it in there system or something. She then walked into another room and brought it out. read more

UPS is the absolute worse logistic company in the planet. They ruined our holidays refusing to deliver an overnight package gifts two weeks and still not here. They have individuals who have no customer service skills rude, incompetent, insolent, screaming insulting, diminishing customers with zero accountability or care for services. Never did they call me nor email me that my packages has arrived to the location. Apparently they sent them back. The first set of supplies the women was rude customer service and takes ghetto. One of the truck drivers from this location hit my car and ran away. They did some very poor investigation and never gave me any written result. I want to pursue this legally so they hire trained drivers. Although I have witness that saw the truck hit and run they deny it. The manager Starla Hylton was very aggressive, rude and unprofessional and totally denied the accident. She accused one of my neighbors to hit me although I have brown paint on my bumper. Stay away from this place and their services. (Update): I found out that UPS truck with Virginia license plate 34071 hit my car. The tag was read by my neighbor. I experienced the worst customer service of my life at this location. The woman we worked with had an attitude. We felt like we were doing something wrong by just coming to pick up our package. She treated us like we were an inconvenience. I will avoid this location like the plague in the future. We talked to a another customer who came in as we waited and she agreed with us and claimed, "They are never in a good mood". The woman begrudgingly brought out our package and it was opened and the box was in rough shape. I'm not sure at what point it was damaged but it just added to my experience at this location. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this is my second experience with them that has be HORRIBLE. The first time, I was doing IVF and it clearly stated to leave the package at the door as it had be frozen. I needed that shot that day to keep up with protocol. They did not leave it and it was too late for me to pick up. I missed a dose. I'm not saying they are the reason why I didn't get pregnant but missing a dose is not acceptable when on the package it said to leave it at the door. I spoke with the Manager and he was uncaring. Yesterday, another package was not left at the door. This time an electronic for my husband. He decided to pick it up at the store. Took off work early today to go get it. They couldn't find it. This place is a dump - I literally stood for a minute then turned around and left. I work within minutes of this place, so it's convenient right! I could even have walked to this location if it was warmer outside it's that close. Anyhoo, I had to return 2 Amazon packages. I could have easily dropped it off at Kohl's, but thought it's near work so no biggie. 3 ladies working all of them are clearly disgruntled. I turned around and left. All I had to do was get a label, tape and get a receipt. I will wait until I get off work and visit my local store. UPS better step it up. There is not a lot of competition for shippers since UPS has bought out some of the other carriers and they have gotten spoiled; however AMAZON is becoming less dependent on your services and with most of the population using AMAZON - they have their own trucks, service centers and delivery drivers. Folks are going to need both UPS and USPS/Fedex less frequently than they have in the past. AMAZON even has their own freight trucks doing long on the road distance. Normally I have very good success with UPS. We just moved to this address, and I am shocked with my service. My package was supposed to be delivered Aug 28. I got a message, "Good news! Your package will be delivered Aug 27." Well, it is now Aug 31 and no package. I have called every day only to get the same response. We sent them a note and they will call you in an hour. This has been the longest hour of my life. I could have flown to the Dyson plant, took a tour and been back in this amount of time. read more

This UPS Customer Center consistently misdelivers my packages to the wrong address (my neighbor's) by changing the address on my correctly addressed packages. They are held up and delayed and then relabelled with the wrong address, my neighbors's address, who lives below me, and delivered there, or never delivered at all. I live in a condo community so each unit has its own number. When packages are addressed to me, they have my number on them. UPS changes it, saying that they are "correcting the unit number." No, they are mislabeling the packages with the wrong unit number. This has caused stress between my neighbor and me. She is pissed (and fusses at me as if it is my fault) that these packages, which are sometimes heavy for her, are being delivered to her. I literally live right above her and our unit numbers are sequential. I have no connection to my neighbor. Our names are not similar. I have never had her address. I have contacted UPS about this several times. Every time the supervisor tells me "we have made a note of it and updated our records" yet I have a package that is currently delayed because UPS "has corrected the unit number" on it. It is scheduled for delivery this week. I hope that I can intercept it before my neighbor sees it. Seriously, How hard is this to figure out and get right? Lasership, DHL, FedEx, and USPS all deliver to my correct address without incident. Why can't UPS? Unfortunately, I cannot control what shipper companies use. There's something very fishy about this UPS facility. The delivery driver sat in front of our house, so my husband went out to ask if his package was being delivered. The UPS driver looked at his computer and asked if it was medication. My husband said yes. The UPS driver said it was in his computer, but not on the truck. As stated in all other reviews, a call to the Alban Rd, Springfield facility resulted in a rude response that was - nothing can be done. The reason stated is because we don't know the tracking number, which we don't know because the package was not delivered. Waited on hold for an hour to talk to a supervisor and finally hung up because no one from UPS responded. We will ensure that any future deliveries, of any kind, are via the US Mail - NOT UPS. read more

My package arrived at this local UPS facility on Tues. 8/01 at 9:15 p.m. According to the website tracking, it was going to be delivered on Wed. 8/02 between 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. When I checked Tues. morning, it was still listed as being delivered on 8/02, however, I noticed that processing the package hadn't started until 8:15 A.M. that morning. Checked back later and the delivery date had been changed to Thu. 8/03. This morning the website tracking still has "processing" listed as 8:15 A.M. on 8/02, but it has it listed again as "processing" this morning 8/03 at 4:55 A.M. I expect this kind of lousy delivery service from other companies, but UPS had always been reliable. I guess those days are over. Like most everything else now days, low quality service is all that can be expected. This is why I rarely order anything online anymore, there's the high probability it won't be delivered on time, if at all. read more

Was told I could pick up my package but when I got there they said it wouldn't be available till tomorrow. The guy I spoke with said he would call me in an hour letting me know my package was ready, he didn't and charged me the pickup fee. I called the customer center over an hour later and spoke to some lady who told me the request wasn't finalized and I would have to come back the next day. Being my first time, she explained the computer set up and then said if I had any problems she was here to help. After talking to her, I realized that she has been with your company many years.
