I stopped here recently for postcard stamps for GOTV/election postcards. Unlike regular "forever" stamps, you can only buy postcard stamps at a USPS location or online. Some Charleston USPS locations were out. Passing by this location, I thought they may have stamps. You know, being in the "middle of nowhere" and all... No lines whatsoever, and the employees were both nice and efficient. I was in an out in minutes. Unlike online, you can also buy a specific number of postcard stamps, which was great because I needed 30 for my last batch of postcards. Although small, this is a full service USPS location and gets the job done.

The least expensive was 14 dollars for delivery by Thursday about 5 days total. Went to this Post Office and the lady behind the counter did pretty much the same thing and it came out to 9.10 for delivery by Tuesday. No questions asked we paid the 9.10 and it was delivered on Monday! Cheaper and faster. Plenty of parking The only negative is that the lobby is small and cramped

Staircase and all the antique fixtures. This post office is like stepping back in time, like entering an art deco era. Very quiet, not crowded, no lines, you'd almost think it's deserted despite being a fully functioning post office. Lots of people seem to have PO Boxes here. There is also a postal museum in the next room, which is kitschy educational.

Spoiler alert: package arrived fine in NYC. The real downside to this place as the lack of customer service. I know times are hard for the US postal service, but c'mon! You work at the beach! Yes, inside, but at the beach! Had to interrupt whatever game she was playing on her phone to get service. Anyway, convienent location when at the beach!!
