Communication could definitely be improved. I brought the device in for repair, and it ended up being there for about a week. I was originally told the repair would take 1-2 days, so I had to call several times for status updates. On Friday, I was told they were still working on it but expected it to be ready by Monday. I never received a follow-up call, so I called on Monday. I was placed on hold twice before finally speaking with someone, who told me it was ready for pickup. Better communication and proactive updates throughout the repair process would make for a much better customer experience. So far, there haven't been any major issues, although my son has noticed that the Switch glitches occasionally. read more

The people there are kind but I was not satisfied with the work they did on my phone. I went in for water damage, was told that the charging port needed to be replaced. It was replaced and was still giving me problems. Throughout this time I was the one that had to be calling for updates so communication could be improved. My computer was having issues in booting, I tried all that I knew how to do without luck. I have normally taken my pc work to Fresno, but my IT person has since retired. My son shattered the back of his iPhone so we gave U-TEC a call and they said they could help fix our issue. They told me up front that the backing needed to be ordered but offered to use the shell from another phone so we could have our phone back faster, which I ok'd but they called back a little later and said it wasn't fitting right and wanted to make sure it was done correctly so they had to wait for the backing they ordered to come in. The part came the very next day and they were able to fix the phone within 24 hours of dropping it off. We are very happy with the work done and the customer service was awesome. The owner even took the time to talk to my son about how he got into the business and where to begin to learn about fixing computers. My iPhone 6 plus S battery died this morning and without a phone I was in shock. Verizon was not able to replace the battery, but suggested U-TEC which came by a high recommendation.
