In general, I have very little experience with dry cleaners. So, after seeing horror stories of companies all over KC, it felt stressful to entrust anyone with a silk gown I was going to wear to back-to-back-to-back weddings this summer. After wearing the dress twice and procuring my first pit stain, I took this dress to a competitor that a friend recommended. The competitor had a 7 day turnaround, charged $30, and had no success getting the pit stain out. Oh well. Two weeks later, I wear the dress to another event and drop pizza all over it as the night is ending (and this is why I can't have nice things). I'm talking two separate 3x3" grease stains that a tide pen didn't help in the slightest. I decided to try Pride because I didn't have any luck at the first place and figured there wasn't anything to lose now that I've ruined this dress anyway. Pride Northland had a two day turnaround, got every grease stain out completely (including the pit stain), and charged $18.45 - which is ~40% less than their competitor charged me to be unsuccessful. Only thing I wish I had done differently was communicate more clearly about one more very subtle stain that I think they could have gotten but probably didn't know to look for. (Upon receiving the dress back, I saw that the front desk employee attached a note on the inner tag with the spots to look out for, but only the major ones were listed.) Had I known they could actually remove them (again, I'm a rookie), I probably would have been a little bit more direct about the subtle spot that was missed! All in all - Pride exceeded my expectations when it came to speed, cost, and, most importantly to me, their expertise in removing stains from high quality fabrics. Thanks for saving my dress!

Washers don't clean anything, dryers don't dry, staff is rude, loud and unhelpful…read more Washers cost a fortune so they can say free dryers but it's cheaper to go anywhere else and pay for both. Then if you make the mistake of going on Sunday, no free dryers but washers are just as high as ever ...the way the dryers work it takes 3 times as much money to dry as it did to wash. Coin machine always shorts you and they won't refund you for that or when the vending machine steals your money. If you mention a complaint at all, you get " so, go somewhere else"...bet! Ill be sure to never use this laundry mat again ..eeww!

Last week the driver took it up to a whole other level d-baggery. Basically they accused me of hiding in my "big house" (I was out of town for a few days and forgot to set the laundry out) because my truck was in the driveway, and not communicating with my (non-existent) staff of servants about setting the laundry out for pick-up in a timely fashion, except much much less literately. Maybe ownership should have a chat about customer service with this driver, or dont let them interact with the public. Just saying.

On this particular visit the owner had already locked up and was going home early due to being sick. I asked if she was closing and she explained that she was leaving due to being ill. I told her that it was no big deal I could come back tomorrow and drop off my uniform. She insisted that I drop it off and opened the store back up for me to drop it off. This is the type of service that I have consistently been given since using Speedy Cleaners. I will continue to be a customer and would recommend everyone use them for your dry cleaning!
