    Montreal style poutine

Excellent airport food! Was very impressed. Nice space. Getting seated was quick and easy. The drinks were a bit expensive and interesting but not bad. The poutines were absolutely delicious! Definitely a great stop in this airport.

At the airport; we got here at 5am. After check in, near our gate, we decided to go to the first restaurant that comes to our view. It's a cute and modern restaurant. The service was friendly. I am used to big portion of breakfast serving in restaurants, so I was surprised with the small portion of my pancakes with fruits and Nutella topping. It wasn't savory unfortunately. I guess it's reasonable place to spend time before our flight.

2 hour layover in Montreal Airport (YUL) and was drawn to this place with the decor. Had a simple Caesar salad that did not disappoint. Must be fully vaccinated to dine here but service was decent and they had an NFL game on to pass the time.

Stopped by before a 17 hrs flight and what first caught my eyes was the decor and also they have a piano player and he was great. Nice relaxing ambiance before a flight for sure. Looked at the menu before walking in and saw a prosciutto salad so right away my mind was set on this place. It was during a busy time 5pm a Friday so the food took a little while to come but not sure why because all I had was a salad with nothing to cook. Had a cocktail that was great and the service was good and very friendly. Got my salad after 30-35 min and it was good but not great. The portion was small for the price and very little dressing. It was disappointing but it did look good, much better than it's taste.

This place brings the entire airport to the next level, it's that good. Contemporary design, great fresh ingredients, great presentation and outstanding service! Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Dinner for 2 with soft drinks with tax and tip was $56. Def will eat here again.

    Montreal Poutine ($20) + fried chicken ($6.75)

Came here during my layover from SF to Milan, the Montreal airport was super overwhelming and this restaurant's enclosed, clean area drew me to get a table. The waitress was friendly but right after seating me she left without saying a word so I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone to take my order for around 20 min (I had a longer layover, but for people in more of a rush I wouldn't recommend stopping here!). None of the servers really walked around and were all behind the bar or in the kitchen. When they did bring out food, they didn't make any eye contact with anyone else. The food came surprisingly quick after I ordered it though! I've never had a traditional poutine, but this one was fine and tasted like how I would have expected it to. The bottom of the bowl was just sauce, so some of the fries were soaked while the ones on top were normal. Pretty big portion size (of fries not chicken), I finished about half but don't think I'm going to take it to go. Nothing special, but wasn't expecting much as it is just airport food. Definitely should not have cost $30 though...

    Hummus Sampler

Quick stop at YUL mid afternoon. The hummus sampler (beautifully presented) consisted of hummus flavored with beets (surprisingly delicious!), roasted red pepper and pesto accompanied by chopped sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and black olives with pita that was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Paired nicely with a Canadian rose. And service with a smile (note - I was not in a hurry!) Now, gotta catch my flight to Rome!

Not salty like most Brooklyn Pizzas. ALWAYS have a coupon that can be used. The ability to make half for me and half for my son. And the best part is... drumrollllllll... the THIN crust. Crunchy, tasty, less calories (yea I said it!) and just tastes good. Three locations five minutes drive away. But this location on Cortelyou Road is by far my favorite, since they get it right everytime!

Not necessarily out the door busy, but a steady flow of patrons, who are hungrily awaiting their pies. They have a pretty decent system and workflow it appears, but I must mention that the efficiency seems to spill over into somewhat pretentious and even a tad condescending counter service. Perhaps, it was just the one person that was like that, but they needed to remove their crown and deflate the pedestal, since no offense it's not the world's best pizza parlour (even though it may be one of the world's largest pizza chains). The pizza itself wasn't all that bad, but not nearly as good as it was when they first came to Canada and yeah, back then they seemed much more down to earth, friendly and appreciative of their patrons and respected the history of Dominos. I'm torn between giving it a two and three, so I'll be nice and give a three, but that particular counter person tilts it towards the two. Since they all appear to work quite hard, I am fine with three overall.

The steak actually looks like ground beef or sausage but is a lighter ground steak. I tried the steak, which came with jalapenos but they were easy to remove after the first couple I tried. Crust is really good, almost a bit sweet. It could have been left in the oven a bit longer because it was only warm. A whole pizza would fill most up, and the lighter eater will have some leftovers to take on the plane. The only drinks are bottles or cans so take some points off for no tap water. Bring your own bottle to settle that issue. Besides pizza they also have several pasta choices that you can add chicken or steak to for an additional fee. They have several types of poutine, but haven't tried that here. There are also potsto chips. Then muffins amd a few cookies for dessert. Those all looked good. There are six very small tables that have 2-3 seats each. Only one box of pizza fits on the table so not easy for two people with two pizzas to share a table without swapping which box is on top. Unfortunately the airport doesn't have any other readily available seating to eat in the terribly laid out gate C terminal. Only other negative was my friend asked to remove one item from their pizza. The staff used metal tongs to remove them but put the first up to his mouth to eat it then continued to use the same tongs to remove the others. The tongs then went back into rotation for the next customer. Obviously needs some training for proper food handling.

For $22 CAD after tax, it wasn't worth it. They have sandwiches and salads here that looked promising. In a way we wished we had tried a different flavor. They advertise a 2 minute-wait time for pizza, but that's because they're already premade and just need to be heated. Would pass on going here to be honest.
