I have this app on two different devices and because I live on the wrong side of i-27 I cannot get a ride

Extremely disappointed with Uber support. I accidentally left my phone in the driver's vehicle and immediately contacted Uber for assistance. I was told they would reach out to the driver, but I never received any follow-up or help recovering my property. I ended up having to track my own phone through the Find My app and physically go retrieve it myself. Thankfully I was able to recover it, but the lack of urgency and communication from Uber was frustrating. Situations involving lost phones should be handled much better, especially when customers rely on those devices for safety, work, and communication. This situation exposed a major safety issue with Uber's support system. I reported my phone missing immediately after realizing it was left in the vehicle. My live location was still actively moving with the driver while he continued completing additional pickups and drop-offs, yet Uber provided no real-time assistance beyond saying they would "attempt to contact the driver." Think about how dangerous that is. If this had not been a phone and instead had been a vulnerable passenger, injured rider, child, or someone kidnapped and unable to respond, the lack of urgency could have had serious consequences. There appears to be no meaningful escalation process when a customer reports a device actively traveling with a driver after a ride ends. I ultimately had to track my own phone using the Find My app and physically recover it myself because Uber support failed to provide timely help or accountability. This is bigger than a lost item inconvenience -- it is a serious customer safety concern that Uber needs to address immediately. read more

I tried to go into an app support because my Uber driver was very rude and unprofessional. He turned off his GPS and then marked my ride is complete when it wasn't and was refusing to let me out of the car until I threatened to call the cops, and then when he finally did let me out because he was afraid I was gonna call the police. He let me out in the middle of a highway . I am pretty sure he was trying to kidnap me because he was giving all the clear signs that he was trying to abduct me. When I went into the app support, they told me they would just remind him of their policy. Um , no! He does not need a slap on wrist , he needs to be fired, and you guys need to look into it. I tried to call a number that was listed as customer support and when I called, I was told that number was only for the drivers yet it was listed as "customer" support. Your driver support number is out there, maybe don't list it on your website as customer support.. very traumatic experience,and very displeased with how the company is handling it. The driver was constantly pushing out the eta. A few minutes I understand, after 5 or 6, I was so late I miss a relatives birthday and had to spend an extra $40 on transportation. Uber solution to that was $5 Uber cash. Talk about insulting. If you need a fast reliable ride in Amarillo, I suggest lyft all the way. Oh and the car was covered in dog hair read more

Worst experience ever first time using Uber had to get to weatherford trip was going to cost me 389.00 and for 2 hours I tried to get a car They kept saying there was a problem I knew I had money on the card so shouldn't of been a issue.
