You also don't get to pick the car you get and you can get stuck with a sucky vehicle. I love their Emerald Club! I'm a regular due to my job and I have reached Executive level. When you 1st start in the Emerald Club you can go to the Emerald Aisle and pick out the car you want. You jump in and just give the person at the booth your ID. No need to go to the counter. When you reach Executive you get a better choice of cars. I love it because I get to drive cars I would probably never buy because they are not practical, but they are fun!

The pick-up process was fairly easy but the car did squeak and grind due to the mileage. Used a lot of gas. Before I left the airport we modified my agreement for a daily rate to cover the time I would have the car and I was still charged almost $100 more than what was negotiated when I returned the car. In my haste to return car, I did not fill up gas tank. I expected to pay more for the gas, but it ended up being 24.64 for 3 gallons of gas! The car itself, however, reflected the "budget" name. It had a large crack in the windshield, wasn't the cleanest inside, had several areas where paint was missing, and there was a noticeable odor.
