Google sent me in for a warranty battery replacement on my Pixel. My screen had damage in the top left corner that did not impact phone use at all. The tech explained that to replace the battery, they would remove the screen, and the screen damage might spread. He said the screen parts cost was $50, but since the screen came in with damage, they would charge $170 to replace the screen. They have to remove the screen to replace the battery anyway, so they would have no additional labor, and I am willing to pay the $50 to cover their costs. They refused and insist on the $170. What a puzzling customer service decision. They had the opportunity to delight a customer at no expense or effort on their part, but instead, they made a thoughtful decision to send me out in the world to tell people about my disappointment. Don't go here if you want them to honor their warranty. This shop repaired my Google Pixel 6 cracked screen on June 12. Yesterday, on June, 19, the screen started flickering and today the display only blinks and is essentially non-functional. I took it back to the store for warranty service but they refused to honor it. Initially the rep (Jay) claimed they didn't have the part. Then, someone in back shouted out "we have 3 of the Pixel 6 kits." Once Jay learned that, he started looking for a reason not to honor the warranty. He pops out the SIM card and immediately claims there is water damage. And no... I never dropped it in water. Of course, there's no way for me to prove that. The guy in front of me in line had a similar experience and it should have made me nervous. I came back Tuesday, they said they still didn't have them, they'd order them, come back Thursday. Ok... I come back Thursday, they say actually no one ordered the parts, come back Friday. No thank you, I'll go somewhere else. Tired of paying for parking over and over. No idea about the quality of their repairs, but only attempt using them at all if you can verify before you arrive that the parts are there that day. I had been having trouble for months connecting my phone using AndroidAuto, and then my phone started to fail at charging, too. I brought it in here to have the charging port replaced. So I've been going to this place for years now because they have the best prices and the lifetime guarantee is legit!!!! They always stick to their time estimates (and if they can't, they will notify you as soon as possible and give you a new time estimation). With this new day-and-age tech, it's really hard to keep up. So it is great that they are very understanding when it comes to the non-technologically savvy crowd. I have a really old phone (aka: an iPhone 6s), so finding A place that has my phones glass and parts for a reasonable price is a very rare thing to find nowadays. DO NOT COME HERE I needed my phone fixed because of a display issue. I paid $230 and came home with a different issue involving how dark my phone was and a delayed flash time on my camera. I understand you may not be able to fix the problem but it SUCKS when I pay for one issue and it caused another. They were also complete assholes. Didn't tell me my phone was ready to pick up and they had it for over 4 hours (when I went to get it fixed for the second time) and they hadn't even done anything to it. update: after a crappy review, the manager honestly tried to right their wrongs. I'll give credit where credit is due. My screen was replaced (again), the frame was replaced, and I was given some liquid screen protector, but the screen is coming apart (again) and the phone is starting to have issues (again). I think I'm calling it a day after five visits and a broken phone that was brand new outside a cosmetic hairline crack that I should've just lived with. This store was an absolute treat! Dropped my Xbox off on Friday and got it back three days later completely fixed and good to go! They lovely employees of ubreakifix were able to open up my Xbox clean it and put it all back together all for the low value of zero dollars! I'm sure it's not the same case for every piece of technology that runs through their hands, but it does show the quality and the stress free work they provide. I was even able to show up ten minutes past their closing hour and they still stayed and let me pick up my Xbox. Please don't go here.My son's i phone XR had a cracked screen to replace. Charged him $265 w tax! I called and was told the charge should be $179 ($195 w tax), and their home office would call me back after rectifying. They never did. he got there and after discussing they took $15 off which he paid to get his phone returned. Apparently, they originally told him he needed to pay more for an OEM screen or Face unlock wouldn't work. That's not true, was rectified with a software update some time ago. Worst customer service I've ever received!!! I took my work laptop in for repair two weeks ago. The technician told me he needed to order a battery for it and it would take a week. Two weeks later I've yet to hear anything from them. I called and the girl on the phone had no clue of the status of my computer. She said she'd have someone call me the next day. Of course, no one called so I had to call again myself. The manager of the store didn't even apologize for the delay. He said his technician is out and I'd have to wait another week for a status update or come get my computer. The guy didn't even have the wherewithal to even check on the status of the delivery of the battery. The concept was above his head. When I pressed him to take the initiative to check the delivery of the battery, he got upset and said just come pick up the computer. I normally don't do reviews but thought I should bring up my experience. For some background, I was working on top of my roof of the building I work at and my phone fell 1 1/2 stories off. Of course my screened crack and I wasn't looking forward to dropping a lot of money on a new screen or phone. I asked around to get advice as to where I should take my phone to fix it. I was told to go here by my friends & T-Mobile. I went to ubreakifix right on 3rd Ave in Denver where I met Jay! He seemed really busy but I was in no rush. I was told they can get done with phones in 45 minutes so I was planning on hanging around anyways. After awhile he helps me out and apologizes for taking too long helping other people. I was not bothered at all and he was very polite to me. I found out I could get an off brand screen for $180 or the apple produced screen for $250. I made my decision and they said, "because they're backed up with other phones they would need to keep my phone overnight." I was fine with this since I was dropping off my phone at a later time anyways and expected this to possibly happen. It took them 2 hours since I left to finish it and they called me back. However my boyfriend didn't receive the call so I ended up getting it the next day. It was nice to know that I could've got my phone within the same day though. Jay was there again once I returned to pick it up. Because he thought I was so understanding about the day before, he threw in a free screen protector and told me not to drop my phone again lol. They had one of the best and fun customer service I've received and for now on I will only go to them for my technology problems! My phone looks brand new too! read more

Awful experience. Really incompetent repair techs and poor customer service. When dropping off my laptop, the intake tech said he would do a quick diagnostic over the next day or two so I could determine how long the laptop would need to be in the shop. This was documented on the service ticket. I waited and waited for nearly a week. Finally, I called into the shop and a tech "dude" told me my computer, which I need for work, was put in a cue and they would eventually get to it -- but it might take a week or more. I explained what the other tech had agreed to and documented on the support ticket. The "Dude" got loud, didn't appear to care and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing or how to interact with customers. I picked up my computer the next day and said "Apparently, you have plenty of business. You don't need mine." read more

I scheduled an appointment to have my 7th generation ipod's screen repaired. This was a specific service offered on the uBreakiFix website. When I arrived I was told, "We don't do that here. They just put that on the website to get people to come into the store." Both the sales clerk and the employee in the back room said this. I dropped my phone off on 09/05. It turned out that the part needed to repair my phone was not in. They had to order the part and was told that it would be shipped to them by 09/10, but I was told that it definitely would be in before 09/10. I waited and checked the website to track my repair status. It still said "Need to order parts" all the way up until 09/11. It was a great inconvenience for me to not have my phone for 6 days. So, I was fed up and tried to call their line, but it kept sounding like they disconnected their phone. I ended up driving down there to find out that they were closed for no reason. They didn't even have a voice mail message to say that they had to close... So I wasted my time and gas driving down there. Then the next day 09/12, I checked the status and it was finally being worked on. I didn't even get my phone until 09/13. Well over a week of waiting! When I got there and paid for my phone, I got in my car to leave and noticed they did not put my S pen back in. So, had to go back and get that which again I shouldn't have to do. Then, when I get home I notice that the gray is scratched off and damaged on the back of the phone. I also noticed that the back is not flush with the screen and sticks out a little bit. I would take it back to get fixed again, but I don't want to wait more than another week for them to drag their feet to get this fixed. I am pretty mad about this whole situation and don't recommend them at all. read more
