DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR SERVICE!!! Typing this review on my new laptop after UBreakIFix broke my few years old one. Took it in with corrupted Windows error; they said they would re-install after backing up my data & should take a couple hours. Nope, not done that day. Days later I had to call them & they said they had a 'guy' who would be in the next day who could do it. Next they call me that my hard drive is bad, so I authorize $150 for a replacement. Few more days they call me that my motherboard is fried--A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PROBLEM THAN WHAT I TOOK IT IN WITH!!! When we went to pick it up, the hard drive wasn't even in the system--basically they took a simple operating system error and returned junk over a week later. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! read more

I took my Samsung Galaxy S24 to the Glassboro store this morning and spoke with Robert. I explained the issue I was experiencing with this new phone and he fixed it, almost immediately. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with UBreakiFix's customer service, and I must say it was nothing short of disappointing. I truly believe writing bad reviews is cowardly and could be a harmful thing. Sometimes people have bad days or have bad moments. I even waited a few days to reflect if maybe I had misread my experience. Sadly, I could not find a single reason for how I was treated. I have insurance on my phone via AT&T, insurance I have never needed to use but kept it on all the devices used by my family. Recently, I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen went black. AT&T instructed me to visit UBreakiFix to have it repaired. Because of the level of insurance, there was to be zero out-of-pocket cost to me. When I arrived at the store, the employee looked up my service ticket, asked for my phone, and after 10 seconds told me I needed to update my repair claim to also have the back of the phone replaced. I explained I was about 30 minutes from home and my phone was unable to be used, so could I use the guest's WIFI or call from the store to update the claim. Sadly, there was no way to update the claim from the store, which I guess wasn't his fault, but I was just disappointed with his tone, he never even looked up to me while talking to me and basically showed he had no care in the world. Next, I told him I would figure something out, maybe go to a McDonalds nearby to jump on their guest WIFI, and this is where things got odd. After I came up with a plan to update my claim, he finally looked at the phone for more than 10 seconds, this time he said the frame was bent and the whole phone would need to be replaced. He also added that this type of repair wasn't covered by my insurance plan and I would need to pay out of pocket. Without any emotion or venom, I disagreed with him and added the phone still worked even though the screen was black. I tried to explain the phone fell less than a few inches to the ground and the impact was very minor, just a direct shot to the screen. Well the fact I didn't agree must have upset the employee, because he started to tell me 100 reasons why I was wrong, and reminded me "I was the one who broke the phone, he was just doing his job". When I felt he was being rude and asked for a card and his name, he gave me a card with no name, when I asked for his name the second time, he said "I'm Rob, the store manager". I was bothered at this time, so I left the store, but Rob followed me to the parking lot and once again told me "I was the one that broke the phone". When I said he had bad customer service skills by the way he was acting and not bothering to make eye contact, Rob told me "I don't need to look at you", and once again reminded me I broke the phone. Simply Wow... This was the worst customer service I have ever come across. Because I need my phone for work the next day and wanted zero smoke with Rob, I had to by another phone that day. I plan to get my old phone repaired but never will I visit this store. I also plan to make sure my employees, family, friends, and anyone that will hear me stay away from this location, if this is the service provided. I have uploaded photos of my broken phone that has a "bent" frame... If the Pixel didn't have a bump-out for the camera this phone would be 100% level. Finally, I hate writing things like this and the fact a mobile phone is so important, but I was treated poorly, this interaction cost me extra money, and I was in a bad spot without my device. I rarely bother with reviewing places like this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service I got from the gentleman at uBreakiFix in Glassboro, NJ (apologies, I don't have his card with me). My phone has not let me charge using a usb cable for several months (been using wireless charging instead). I brought my phone in for them to check it out. He said it might just be too much dust/lint, and brought it in the back to check it. Came back 2 mins later and said he cleaned it out and it's working fine now. I brought it home and sure enough, it's working like a champ. He could have EASILY said that he was gonna have to replace the charging port, but he was honest, and cleaned it out, with no charge. I truly appreciate the help and honesty shown by him today! read more

You broke my phone. The face recognition isn't working anymore. I came in for a battery replacement and ended up with a fake battery and no face recognition. I went back today to get it rectified and was told I signed a waiver and when I asked for the waiver was told to leave the store and the cops were called. I waited for the police and was handed a fake receipt which I have never seen before. The original paper I signed was never shown to me again. I read the whole thing. It was on a regular size piece of paper and all the check marks were all checked. My phone worked fine and now it's about worthless. If I could give ZERO stars I would. At this point you think corporate would call or get involved but probably not considering the guy who came in after me ended up with a phone that they also broke. Unbelievable!!!!! read more

The most awful experience ever. On Saturday nov 14. not one but two REPS in that location. I was having issues with my iPhone. Verizon scheduled me to this location in which I couldn't go. Verizon was guiding me on my phone on how to reschedule however she insisted I called and with her online just so she could guide me. Once Mr Robert Myers knew she was helping he proceeded to get loud (he was already speaking over me) making the situation worst and hard to explain. saying it's ilegal to call on 3 way that's against the law etc etc. I genuinely said "thank you don't worry we will take it from here". That weighed on me in a bad way. The next day nov 15th I called a rep called NICK picks up the phone. Confirming that myers is in fact the rude manager. I mentioned if he was the feminine kinda voice. NICK proceeded to call me all kind of names all of the sudden. I this is a nightmare! I suffer from severe. PSTD/PANIC I don't deal well with rude people. This needs to be taken care of. read more

I recently dropped my Samsung S21 Ultra. It was protected by an Otter box but still received a small chip in the corner, and the screen had multiple spider wed cracks. Other than that, the phone was working perfectly.I reached out to my Verizon insurance Asurion, and they set me up with UbreakIfix in Glassboro.I dropped off the phone and returned 2 1/2 hours later at which point I was told the main board was cracked and could not be fixed. The phone now would not even power up. I was told that I should call Asurion, and they would send a new one. The associate who explained all this came off as if his knowledge and expertise were beyond reproach. I can not speak as to what happened during the time they had my phone, but my reality is I handed over a perfectly operating phone and was returned a piece of trash. I now wait for my " reconditioned " phone and can only imagine what I have lost and how much time I will spend to make this one comfortable to use. One final indignity was that Asurion was " kind enough " to cut my deductible in half instead of waving it, but that matter will be taken up with Verizon billing.Beware Beware Beware. read more

So I chipped my screen on my Galaxy s10 phone, and after about 3 weeks I ended with a half white screen. While I didn't have insurance I wanted it repaired by a recommended provider, using genuine parts. Brought it over, they had it done sooner then they thought (about 2 hours, not 3),and the new screen is great. Can not tell its a replacement screen. Touch is the same, and fit is perfect. Staff polite and answered all my questions. While I hope not to have to use their services again, I would go back. read more

Robert is the district manager. After telling him the model number of an IPad over the phone he told me to come in and he would look at the cracked screen. When I got here, the said the could fix it but didn't have the part. I told him it would of been nice if he told me over the phone before I drove a half hour to the store. He then refused service. Absolutely terrible. A complete waste of money. They charged me $320 just for my phone to work less. I came in so they could fix my screen and as soon as I left with my new screen my Face ID no longer worked and the screen has discolored dots on it. I will never suggest this place to anyone. I took my phone to UBreakiFix for a simple phone repair today. The only thing that was wrong with my phone was a cracked screen, which I know should be a simple fix, I have gotten my screen repaired many times in the past. But, my experience here was absolutely awful. Once they had replaced my screen my phone wouldn't turn on at all (which was never a previous problem) and they had stated there was nothing they could do about it. So they continued to just put back on my cracked screen and I left with a broken phone after being told to just buy a new one. After this I had taken it somewhere else and they said that they don't understand WTF UBreakIFix was trying to do and they ruined my battery. 0/10 don't recommend. Do not take anything to this place for repairs! They have no clue what their doing and extremely overpriced. I took my sons video game system here to be repaired and after two weeks they swapped out the charging port and put in an old rusted one with missing prongs and gave it back to me with missing screws saying they weren't sure why it wouldn't charge and it would be easier to buy a new one. From there I went to a electronic repair shop called Gadget Doctors and they said they couldn't believe how bad the soldering that was done by UBreakiFix. He said it was equivalent to someone who had never soldered before. Gadget Doctors simply replaced the port with a new one and corrected the soldering for less than $50 and kept my updated the entire time. read more
