Sold me bad case, didn't fix my problem with my phone, minimal knowledge. Friendly but incompeting.

I had an appointment at 12 and had to change it to 1, the store was very accommodating and they have walk ins. Matthew talked through options, ran through prices, and I left my phone with him. For context, the phone screen was completely shattered glass, the screen would only turn on white, and the back was heavily damaged. It took about three hours and the phone came back new. Matthew was very nice and a skilled worker. I didn't get the name of his manger but I heard he helped. Thank you guys! read more

Unfortunately, I'm about to take my iPad to them for the fourth time they are dishonest. They not do the repairs they say they're going to do but they will charge you. They cannot fix things in a timely matter, and they do nothing but shrug their shoulders and say oh well. The only reason I'm going is to get my money and take my iPad somewhere . read more

Friends iPhone SE 2nd gen got a screen repair from here. The phone had very little water seal left, we suspect it was not replaced, and there was a bunch of loose and missing screws, which can cause so many issues. 3rd party repair can be great, but Asirion, and uBreakiFix, give it a bad rep, for good reason. read more

My sister had dropped her phone and the lens covering the main camera shattered. We took her phone in for a basic lens replacement, as nothing was wrong with the internal camera itself. When we picked up her phone, there were dots all over the pictures taken that were not present before dropping the phone off. She was very unhappy with the service as her photos were ruined by these spots all over them, so we returned that afternoon. We explained the situation, and how we received the phone back in worse condition than it was dropped off in, and that we would appreciate it if they could re-clean the camera underneath and replace the lens. We were told by the front desk worker that there was nothing that they could do, and he could get his manager. The manager, Helen C., then came out and told us again that they couldn't do anything. I was frustrated because we had paid, more than previously discussed, for the service that ruined the camera, and that they should fix the issue that they created, or refund the service provided. I then showed her the pictures taken immediately before dropping it off, and the debris on them following the service and I was told "I wasn't going to look through your camera roll" and that we couldn't prove it was their fault, even though photos were timestamped. She then told us that she would take the phone back, break through the screen, and clean it from the inside but that she would charge us again for "labor", when the lens could've been removed, camera cleaned, and a new lens replaced. After explaining that we should not have to pay for another service when the first was completed so poorly, I was then told that she would not speak to me anymore because it was my sister's phone. We were continuously told by Helen that she was "trying to work with us", but she was unwilling to honor the Ubreakifix 1 year warranty to fix their errors in cleaning the camera before applying the new lens, and was unwilling to refund the original service. After asking for the number of her higher-ups, she told us there was nobody we could contact multiple times, before finally giving us the corporate number to reach out to. Right before leaving she refunded us the cleaning fee (as there was clearly no cleaning done), and one of the service fees, but we were still $60 in the hole from the "diagnostic". After reaching out to corporate we were told the warranty could not be honored because we were issued a partial refund, even though they refused to honor the warranty in-store, and the *partial* refund was an absolute last resort. The overall customer service and dedication to providing quality services has been astonishingly poor, and we are still out over $60 to Ubreakifix which should absolutely be resolved in either fixing THEIR error or refunding the whole service provided. We will continue to push for a refund for their faulty services and the cost to correct their errors, while spreading the word of their appalling customer service. read more

I went in this morning (9/15/23 with my old old iPod. The speakers no longer work and not the select button went bad. But I have a lot of things on it, that cannot be transferred be cause of Apples continuous system upgrades. It sill works if you can access the files. A very nice fellow named Carson helped me. He set my iPod up so I can operate it without replacing the select button. It only took him a few minutes, but I am very grateful to him. To make it better he showed me how to do it myself if I have more problems. Then to make it even better, there was no charge. Carson was awesome! read more

My iphone 13 pro was not charging properly so naturally I took it to the apple store where I was told immediately to get a new one without any explanation whatsoever. Decided to run it by these guys and they took a look inside, adjusted a bent pin and sent me on my way. Charging works perfectly now! These guys know their stuff! read more

Brought my fully functioning phone it to get the screen repaired (minor crack on front-their intake form states minor damage and powers on) After several hours, I stopped in to check the status of the repair to find the phone was now shattered further in the front, and now in the back. Additionally, the phone is now inoperable!! I was told by the tech that "removing the screen damaged the motherboard" and there is nothing else that can be done. They took zero responsibility for the damage they caused. They cursed at my husband, calling him an a$$hole. They told us "Apple doesn't want us working on their phones" "Apple wants you to buy a new phone.". My daughter recorded them saying this. The customer service was horrendous. We will continue fighting to get refunded for having to purchase a new phone. read more

Dropped my Pixel 4 and managed to put a big crater in the screen (even though it was in a case). The screen was unusable as 75% of the screen was now flashing green lines, so I walked in and entrusted my phone to the guys here. I've seen videos--that is NOT an easy fix. These guys quoted 4-6 hours but it was done in 3 (I walked in just around 11:30 and they called me just after 2:30.) An expensive lesson for me, but I'm getting another phone case so this doesn't happen again. Don't get me wrong--I wish I hadn't had to pay the $$S to fix my phone in the first place, but many things went wrong for me today. These guys made a terrible day a little better by fixing my phone perfectly and so quickly. They earned the $$$. Heaven forbid I should have to come in again, but if I do at least I know I'll be in good hands. (Still don't want to have to need their services though! ^_^) read more

I got an iPhone battery replaced here since it was dying after 5 years. Even though they're not officially an Apple-backed business and use third-party parts, the nearest one that was is in Castle Rock. A little more expensive here, but they did a good job and my phone lasts more than a day again. My only complaint was that it felt like I was bothering whoever was working there, despite making an online appointment. They seemed annoyed of my existence. I also never got an upfront price, so it was a mystery how much I would pay until the price popped up afterwards ($110). read more

The screen on my Galaxy Ultra Note 20 again was accidentally damaged due to an auto accident. I was pressed for time and Michael at UbreakiFix was very knowledgeable concerning processing my request to repair my screen in a timely manner as I had requested. I was extremely pleased with the repair, and after a 15 minute wait to test that all the functions worked properly I received my phone and it works perfectly like NEW! I brought my son's ipad in to get a cracked screen replaced. It was replaced, but not correctly and the home button mas misaligned and not functional. I had to bring it back a second time, and it was again not fixed so I brough it back a third time. Within minutes of getting home, the whole screen cracked again just by touching the home button. Fourth time going back... The employees stated that it was not their responsibility, and I would have to pay another $260 which would be more expensive than a new ipad. There I was, at the top of the ladder, channeling my inner Clark Griswold and hanging Christmas lights. I reach just a little bit too far... And the phone fell out of my pocket and landed straight on the screen. Not sure what it did, but you can actually see the LCD Bleeding Out. Figuring it was time for an upgrade anyway, I went to my Verizon store, and they were unable to help me. I had not been backing up to the cloud. Don't judge. Well, what do you do other than drink heavily? As any Adventury person, or a parent, knows... You probably have a thousand pictures you don't want to lose. Including loved ones who are no longer on this side of the daisies. The next day, driving home nursing a hangover... I saw the uBreakiFix store. I've driven past him a bunch of times, never gave it a whole lot of thought. I went in, and salvation arrived... for fifty bucks, they gave me a temporary screen for my Droid S7, and transferred the data. Only it wasn't that simple... The connection between the charging outlet and the battery was weak, and also between the motherboard and the charger. Not sure if I'm using the right terminology, in fact I know I'm not. If I knew beans about computers, don't you think I would have backed up to the cloud? They had to charged my phone wirelessly, and then used one of several different types of software they have to transfer my data. It worked. The only reason I'm giving these guys 5 stars is because Yelp won't let me give them 8. After I mentioned uBreakiFix, it turns out one of my co-workers had brought a seven-year-old Droid in, they replace the battery, and it's as good as new... Go see these guys. I am a first time customer (at this location). I brought my phone in on 10/11/22. The touch screen was not working. They told me they had to order the part and that the phone would be fixed by 10/14/22 or 10/15/22 at the latest. They would call and or email me during the process. NOTHING! They even had me pay 50% of the cost which was like $129.00 or so. Today is 10/17/22, still nothing! I dropped in to inquire, and they told me they had not even received the part yet. So I asked the obvious question: why didn't you at least call or email me to let me know what was going on and how long it was going to really take. The employee told me, "How would I know that it was going to be delayed." Excuse me? Did you just say that? Of course, you may not know, but you did NOTHING to communicate to me the problem!!! NOTHING! On a secondary note, my wife brought her phone in on Friday 10/14/22 to have the screen replaced (first time customer also). They promised that it would be done later that day. It wasn't. It wasn't even done the next day. So she took it back and will find another place just as I will! Horrible service!!!!! I like to support local businesses, but absolutely not, when they provide exceedingly poor service, now once, but twice! Go elsewhere. read more

Had an iPad display glass replaced last week. The only damage to the iPad was the cracked glass. The store returned my iPad with scratches all over the bezel, glue coming out of the sides of the glass, and glue caked on the back of the device. Pay the extra money and get it done at Apple. read more

The process was very strange from the get go. They had me drop off my device, no real check in, no receipt for the item I dropped off, despite it having a value of around $300. Took them awhile to get back to me only to have them tell me that it could not be repaired. Perhaps it could not be fixed, but I honestly don't have much confidence that an attempt was even made based on the lack of professionalism up to that point. I am I'm giving them a 3 as a benefit of the doubt vote on the repair, but subtracting 2 for lack of professionalism and poor communication. read more

Luke was extremely helpful with my battery placement. The plastic pulled off and I was unable to remove the old one. He pulled it apart in short order and replaced the battery. All at no cost! I highly recommend this location for any issues with your mobile phones. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING!!!! They are dishonest and their warranty is non existence as they will claim any damage is pre-existing; well no kidding, they're supposed to fix damaged goods so everything they work on has pre-existing damage. We took an Apple iphone in for screen replacement and after 5 hours, they indicated that replacement now requires an Apple specific screen which was $150 more than their initial estimate. We decided their initial tactics were questionable, so requested the phone not be repaired. They returned our previously fully functioning phone now with additional damage with it sporadically turning on and off every 2 minutes. We then took the phone to Apple where they indicated the phone could not be repaired and the circuit board could only have been damaged when the screen was removed by You Break I Fix. Apple wrote up an invoice for us to take to u break i fix describing their assessment of the damage and its cause. We then went back to u break i fix and requested they pay the replacement cost. They completely dismissed the damage they caused saying it was pre existing. The phone was previously functioning before u fix took hold of it and now needs to be replaced. This store did not take any accountability. The store name should be "we break it, you pay to replace it". I recommend avoiding this place as they are very dishonest and will not be accountable for damages they cause. Please read all of the other negative reviews and you will notice a theme of dishonesty. read more

I have had my glass repaired here in the past and it was totally fine... however today my husband came in to get his screen repaired. Very minor , not shattered like mine usually are. After being charged 178, the glass was fixed, but faceid no longer worked. (Which was all perfectly functioning and was disabled in front of the team when they took it or repair as protocol). In lieu of offering to just fix what they broke, they told him it would be an additional fee. We decided we would not make a huge deal of it, and just asked to just have the glass repair fee refunded... which they did...AFTER PUTTING THE BROKEN GLASS BACK ON! So now we have a damaged phone on top of it all. Avoid this location! read more

They replaced the glass in an iphone. Two days later the new glass broke (no dropping, no sitting on it, nothing). My daughter was holding it in her hand and the screen just cracked. Spoke with multiple people at the store and customer service "manager" via phone after waiting over an hour to be connected. After a week of waiting for their answer they said they will not replace. Customer service here sucks and this is the typical crap that honest costomers have to deal with. Edit: What a joke! Your customer service line was less than helpful. After it took your team members at the store MULTIPLE times to give me the correct phone number, I was on the phone for over an hour until a "manager" picked up. That means your customer service line is way too busy answering issues that the stores are not willing to fix or your company likes to put people on hold for extended peeiods of time hoping they will hang up a never call again. read more

My cracked screen was repaired on 10/2. Within 3 weeks the sides of the screen had begun to disintegrate. It was protected by a Zagg screen and a case so I did not notice this right away. It then began completely disintegrating on the bottom corner of the screen and cracked on the top after a small drop. 3 weeks following the repair the screen had completely separated from the phone and the swipe up feature stopped working, leaving my phone much worse off than when I originally brought it in. Brandon, the store manager, has refused to repair the phone because I cannot prove that the physical damage was my fault. Customer service has also refused to help saying that the best they could do was to offer to repair the screen for $200. Avoid this location and this chain as they do not stand behind their work and your device may be left much worse off. read more

I'm updating my review because I just took my phone to a different repair shop located out of state. The repair shop told me the battery is not embedded in the phone and is easy, and super cheap, to replace. You break it I fix it told me the opposite. They deliberately lied and overcharged me and did nothing. I would recommend everyone avoid this dishonest business. read more

My wife and I are beyond frustrated and appalled by the service and faulty product we receive from You Break We Fix. My wife brought her IPhone in a few days before Christmas to get her cracked screen fixed. First the repair staff did not complete the item in the time she was told it would be done...frustrating but it happens. However, less than 48 hours after the replacement of the screen the new screen cracks on its own. My wife didn't drop it or leave it in the freezer. Initially, she thought her phone case had come off. However, it was the glass that had popped out. Because of this, it her screen has sections that are blacked out, my making it difficult to use. When she brought it back, she was told that she would have to pay to get the screen fixed again. They said that even though it seemed that he screen was not put in correctly, because it broke they would not apply the guarantee to the phone. If you have an issue with your phone, we highly recommend that you pay the extra $10 and go to an Apple store. read more
