I originally had a good overall experience getting my laptop screen repaired and replaced. Unfortunately, when I received my laptop back, the keyboard backlight was no longer working. Before leaving my laptop with them, I clearly explained that the only issue was the screen and that the keyboard backlight was functioning perfectly. After I picked it up and noticed the problem, I was encouraged to purchase the Asurion Tech Care insurance plan and submit a claim once the coverage became active. I followed their recommendation and filed a claim, only to find out that the keyboard is not covered under the Asurion Tech Care plan. This was frustrating, especially since the backlight issue did not exist before the repair. While the screen repair itself was successful, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled and with the lack of a resolution for an issue that appeared after the service was completed. read more

Horrible experience. The young, unprofessional, kid behind the counter was rude. I set up an appointment and drive way out of my way to get to this store and the kid proceeds to tell me he doesn't have screen protectors for my phone! What? Why didn't you call me to let me know that? You had two days to figure that out and save me the trip. He then says I should have called. WTF? Isn't that what the appointment is for? It's no wonder this store has such horrible reviews. I'll never go here again! read more

Day 1 - I went in to have video taken off a SD card and put onto my dual sim phone. Day 2 - various issues started with my phone on day one after I left the store including not being able to make or receive calls and an extra security measure to gain access that I didn't have before. I was told it was a problem with my service provider and to contact them. How would I contact them if I can't make calls? While waiting for the tech to go back and forth to the back and the front I figured out part of a solution. The tech seemed rather surprised showing his already less than adequate knowledge. Day 3 - more issues that started on Day 2. Phone blacked out whenever attempting to make a call. I was told that always happens. No, it has not and does not. Calls not always going through, which I called their store phone and they called mine for proof. I was told it was something I did. No, it was not. I didn't change the settings other than when I was in the store. Then I was told it was the screen protector. Again, no since this problem never existed before day one. They place the 2nd sim card back in and still more issues. I left out of frustration with their inability to figure out what they did. I started to Best Buy but sat in the parking lot first to see if I could figure out the issue. I went through the sim card management screen and fixed the issue myself. What a waste of time with them. Another customer said she was only there because it was closer but she was going back to a computer/cell phone place in North Richland Hills. She said the drive is longer but worth it after dealing with the unknowledgeable people here. read more

I have no tech background. I brought my Microsoft Surface laptop 4 to have its battery replaced by Asurion. They called a day later saying my computer would no longer turn on and because of a design flaw related to the placement of the battery and they could not fix it. They offered to replace the laptop at the cost of the battery replacement. I knew this laptop was expensive so I verified they wanted to fully replace it and they said yes because they felt responsible. They stated that in retrospect they did not have the expertise to work on this type of laptop and should've never agreed to work on it. I called back for an update a week later and was told that upper management would not replace the laptop after seeing the value of it because they're a small company. I wish they had not offered to replace it before checking the cost and receiving approval from management, but I understood. I was frustrated, but tried to end the interaction amicably. When I went to pick up my laptop the employee who had been working on my computer, Erik, decided it was a good time to place the blame on me, saying that if I had accurately told him how old the laptop was he never would've agreed to work on it. We disagree on what I had estimated the age of the laptop was on the phone, but if I had been informed it was critical to whether they could perform the service requested, I would have ensured the information provided was accurate. In sum: 1) Please ask customers about the specs of their devices if it impacts whether or not you have the expertise to work on it 2) Don't offer to replace a laptop without knowing the value and receiving approval from management 3) If the age of a device is pertinent to your ability to work on it, express the importance of that detail to the customer so they can provide that info read more

Experience was great! Went in because my phone charging port wasn't working and within 2 minutes it had been cleaned out and worked perfectly fine for only $30! Cleaned the speakers too and I can hear audio much clearly now. Thank you again! read more

Terrible experience with this business. Drove an hour after calling to confirm they can fix my phone screen in a 1 hour window as promised only to arrive and get told it'll be 3 hours. Then got told to come back in the afternoon and they can do it then, so we stuck around town and showed back at up at the time they told us to.... Only to be told they don't have enough time to fix it. Complete waste of a day and time. Bad business practices. Needs better management. read more

I dropped my PC off at this location on 8/24/20 and was told I'd get a call in a couple days with a diagnosis. I waited until 8/29/20 and finally called them to ask for an update. They told me they had not looked at my PC yet but would get to it and call me back. On 9/1/20 I called again and was told they still had not checked it out but would that night and call me. The next day around lunch I got a call and was told it was my motherboard and that they don't repair/replace those. I ordered a new motherboard ($120) and had it installed. Turns out the old motherboard wasn't broken and the new one didn't resolve the issue. So after wasting 2 weeks of my time, I'm out $200ish and still have the same problem. My belief is that no one actually looked at the computer but because I was calling every couple days they gave me an answer (even if wrong) Observation of my time spent there, they care way more about cell phone insurance repairs than anything else. read more

Took my phone in at about 2 pm Sunday and was told an estimated finish time would be 1 hour and they would give me a call once it's done. 1 hr pass, no call! 2 hours pass, no call! I went to check on it and told me 30 more minutes. 30 mins pass and NOT done! They should have made a courtesy call and let me know that my phone would not be ready after the first hour. I live almost 30 mins away and didn't want to drive back and forth. Wasted half my day waiting for my phone to be fix! After 3 1/2 hours later, I got my phone and went on my way. Half way home, I notice my phone didn't look right. Appears that the screen wasn't glued on properly! Thankfully insurance took care of me after the complaint. My recommendation to this place of business is that "Please inform your customer if you are unable to finish within the time promise" it's called "courtesy" 3 1/2 hour wait for a phone that wasn't even fixed properly is unacceptable! read more

Went here because samsung told me to go here to get my phone fixed. They said they didn't have my parts in stock and would order them. 4 days later I called them to check on the status of my parts but I was hung up on 4 times. Finally got ahold of someone and was told they had my parts. I came in the next day to be told they didn't have my parts. They said they would order them. I called Monday and they said they had my parts. I made a appointment for Friday. I show up Friday and am told I am 2 days out of warranty and they can't help. No help or notifications of when parts were received or that my warranty was so close to expiring. If they had my parts the first time they said they did I could have gotten my phone fixed instead they tried to charge me over 700 for repairs. The help was useless , communication is non exisistent. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Took my iPhone for a simple screen repair at noon. Was told it would be done by the end of the day. Really, for just a simple screen replacement. Ok, whatever. I leave, I call back just to check the status around 2:45. I was told it would be done in an hour. Awesome. I arrived at 4:30 thinking it would be done based on them telling me it would be done in an hour (around 3:45). Nope, not done, said at most another hour. Seriously. read more

They said they would order my part then never called me. I brought it in another day, and asked them if they still would help me fix it. They said we will fix it today I said great. They claim they fixed my charge port and replaced my.battery but a month later it's not charging again. They obviously did not do one or two of those things. Unreliable and wasted my money. Took my phone in to have the back glass fixed ,and was told they would have to run a diagnostic to find any other problems, as to wich I did not need, I was then told that in order to fix the BACK GLASS ,I would have to pay for any other repairs that were found on my phone ,all this just to fix the back glass, completely uneccisary, I just wanted my back glass fixed!!!!!!!!! read more
