I had AT&T insurance and told me to take it to this shop to get the screen replacement and the camera len fixed, only the digitzer glass is broken but the screen lcd and the back glass wasn't broken when I brought it in, i got back in worse condition when i got it back, when they noted it unrepairable now my insurance have to charge me $275 to replace the whole thing and won't wave the fees to replace it, this is unacceptable, I'll probably won't be bringing any of my device to be fixed here again or recommend it to my friends and family read more

Terrible service overall, cracked screen was fixed but was not professionally done at all, payed too much for a shitty repair I had to come back in to fix a week later after it fell 5 inches off the floor. SPLAT was the noise my daughters phone made when she dropped it outside by the pool... SCREEN cracked... My wife and I were made and on came the lectures. "The phone cost a lot of money, you need to take better care, etc etc etc" Then low and behold, a week later, SPLAT goes my wife's phone... SCREED cracked... I took both phones on different days to get them fixed at uBreakiFix, and the results were incredible. First of all, they respect the rules of social distancing by making sure they all wear masks and no more than three customers in the building at once. On top of that, they take the care to speak to what the problem is with the phone and what they will do to fix the problem. End of the story is, after being repaired, and it's been over a month, both phones are perfect with no issues. I feel better knowing that if I break my expensive investment, there's a place that will take the time and provide an excellent service to repair my investment back to normal. Stop by AT&T because my daughter's battery and her iPhone had stopped working and would not charge. AT&T pointed me to this place after helping me file a claim with my insurance. Stop by this place the next day to drop off the phone. It was ready the same day. He even changed out my daughters screen protector shield that was cracked for only $20. They had some intriguing deals on whole home electronic insurance. That will probably be something I would want to look for in the future. No more buying insurance for individual pieces or equipment that you purchase and having to keep up with all of that. You now have one service that takes care of every electronic device in the home. You can go to them to drop off things, they can also come to you for repairs as well with their mobile unit. They do Mount televisions on walls along with other things. read more

I've been wanting to share my long story. Why is there no zero rating? I brought my Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer (which is my sole work computer) in for a minor repair. I paid for the replacement part and dropped the computer off when the part arrived. I was told the repair would take an hour and to pick the computer up at closing time. By the way, my computer was working well, there were no mechanical problems. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the technician had damaged my screen while making the repair. Apparently, he punctured my screen trying to remove it to make the repair. He did not know what he was doing. He offered to order me another screen free of charge, but wanted to order it in a different color????? I said no, and I asked for a part that matched the color of my computer and asked that he put a rush on the part. I was upset and refused to leave my computer at the store until my part came in. The store was not prepared to provide a loaner computer, nor do they have access to any vendor that loans computers. They offered no compensation for the cost of a loaner. I learned after several days of the part not coming in that the individual who destroyed my computer moved to another store and was virtually unreachable. Somehow he was the only person who knew (or didn't know how to repair computers.) How convenient. It was hilarious because I was watching TV a few days later an ironically saw the individual who destroyed my computer on a segment of "Good Morning Texas" talking about how to take care of your electronics. Long story short, I had to wait weeks for the replacement part (remember this is my work computer for my small business), and I had to get a loaner computer on my own at a cost of $350. The part arrived, but the technician was not in to fix the computer (because he moved stores and had to travel back to the store so he could fix the computer that he destroyed.) By the way I tried to get them to let me take the replacement monitor somewhere else for repair, but they would not let me. So nearly a month later my monitor was replaced (remember the store was at fault.) I get home and start using the computer. Suddenly the monitor is flickering. I thought it was nothing then rebooted my machine. It continued to get worse to the point that the screen was flickering so bad that I couldn't see anything on the screen. THIS TIME, I took it to Apple Care and the technicians stated that the Ascurion technician at this store DESTROYED MY HARD DRIVE in the process of repairing it, and that I would need a new computer! I really think that the guy knew he destroyed my machine when he first punctured my monitor. This was confirmed when we attempted to transfer data from my old computer to the new computer. Needless to say that I am furious that I had to buy a new machine. Those of you with MacBook Pros know how expensive they are. I had no choice because my business productivity was suffering. People have told me to seek legal recourse to replace my previous machine that was working perfectly fine before I took it in for a minor repair. I don't trust these people and there is never a decisionmaker on site. They hide in the back of the store and decide which one of them will tell you the bad news about your electronic. DO NOT EVER bring your computer to this store for repair, and I would say, don't trust any of your electronics to this store (particularly the one on Spring Creek.) They do not know what they're doing and they will leave you hanging. Last but not least, DO NOT let them talk you in to buying their electronic repair plan. It's not worth it at all. read more

Judging off reviews, I sent my husband to the store with our iPad to get a new screen put on. I had called around to other stores that gave us approximately 1-2 days for repair and couldn't exact quote but said approx $200. 1. The price - crazy! My husband dropped it off and never got quoted. We have a receipt that says $0 for the price. We were never once verbally or in writing told the price. 2. Time - they took over a week with it in their possession to finally get a part in supposedly. It's an iPad screen that every other store has in stock. 3. The "repair". So they repaired this without giving us a price and when my husband picked it up they said "513.00" was the total cost. We could buy an iPad for that! My husband asked him to put the The kicker - it now doesn't work. So we dropped it off because it was inconvenient to use with a shattered screen with little kids. Samsung informed me all it needed was a new LCD which they replaced and shipped back to me. I contacted them on a Saturday May 8th 2021 to get a quote for fixing the screen of my phone. They quoted me $400 and they would be able to fix it until Monday or Tuesday of the next week. However, If I were to purchase an insurance from them, then I would become a member and the price would be $300 and they could fix it the same day. I agree to buy the phone insurance and become a member. I've been paying $27.05 for 5 months now. My phone broke down again and when I called them they told me that the insurance I have is only for household items and not for phones. Apparently they lie and pressure you into buying a worthless insurance by giving you a fake discount and only be willing to fix your phone the same day if you acquire it. I try contacting the store owner only to be transferred many times to Asurion. They will soon receive court notice. read more

My phone's charger port has been very finicky for the past month or so to where I had to hold the charger at a certain angle to get it to charge. I came to see if they could get it fixed and the technician, ( I don't remember his name but I think it was Miguel) was not only very friendly but fixed it within 10 minutes. uBreakiFix you are garbage. My phone battery was lasing about 4-5 hours so I needed to get it replaced, which is covered under warranty for Google because pixel has this problem often apparently. A few weeks ago: 1) made an appt at the coit/spring creek location. Appt is confirmed. Go there and they are closed. No contact from them after that. 2) I call corporate to see if I can get in somewhere else and they tell me they don't know why it's closed... 3) make an appt at the Frisco location and actually get there. They change my battery. Left with the battery at and after the phone passed their diagnostic. 4) battery life doesn't improve over the next week. Call Frisco to see what the next steps are. They tell me I need a motherboard replacement but they don't have it. They tell me to call around. I call around, find one at the coit and spring creek location. Back I go. 5) go to coit and spring creek. The guy doesn't want to do the motherboard replacement. He suggests a second battery replacement. Ok? So he does it. Hands me back my phone at 1% battery life... No diagnostic done I'm guessing. Whatever. Ive taken time out of work for this so I just leave. 6) now my camera errors every time I try to open it and flashlight doesn't work. Today: 7) made an appt online. go to coit and spring creek. They are closed. Again. For an undetermined amount of time because all their employees quit I'm guessing. 8) call Frisco. They tell me they can't do anything because they aren't a corporate store and I have to go to the other Plano location at 75 and spring creek. Fine... 9) we go straight there. I tried to call. No one answers. I've left VM in the passed that no one returned so I don't even bother. I get there and the lady says their booked. She says to try again maybe next week. I ask her if there are any other corp stores. Addison, but they are closed. Plano, but they are closed. And McKinney or mesquite. I ask how I am supposed to know if they can get me in since they don't answer the phone or return messages. She says online. I've done that three times and two of the three confirmed appts for stores that were closed. Her response : I don't know what to tell you. No one wants to work because of unemployment. No. No one wants to work for you because your corp doesn't pay you and obviously doesn't give a shit about sending pissy clients your way. No wonder no one wants to work at this garbage place. My phone was unresponsive after a fall, and Ubreakifix seemed to be my only option, as Apple stores are well closed by now. I called at 6:20 PM (they closed at 7 PM), and by 6:45 PM, Omar had already repaired and diagnostic tested my phone! He met me by my car with a mask/gloves and I felt completely safe.
