It's nice to have people so close to the community that are there to help you figure out what's wrong and their price to fix it, which is all you can really ask. I'm not saying the prices are the best, for example I had a bloated battery that the OEM manufacturer was quoting around $150 to replace labor and shipping included. I was quoted around $199 here, so not far off, but laptop battery replacement is actually something you can do yourself really easily so I bought the SKU from Amazon for ~$70 and already have a T5 and Phillips driver at home which I used to take the old battery out. But anyway I was using the wrong screwdriver (T4) and as a result couldn't get a stubborn screw out of the bottom to open up my laptop, and this was my problem and I was willing to pay for someone to be able to solve my absurdly trivial problem. You know, nothing ridiculous because I knew it probably wouldn't take too much effort but nothings free right? Wrong. First of all the really nice thing is diagnostic is free. So for them to tell you what's wrong and how much they will charge to fix it is $0, and since it was such a simple fix, they refused to charge me a penny. And that leaves you with a nice feeling in your heart so it's somewhere that I'm not scared to come back to and ask for help again. What's important to know is that these guys aren't that sketchy shop looking to nickel and dime you. You'll pay a fair price. read more

I thought these guys were great... but nope. I had a virus and they had to wipe my machine and reload everything. They did not reload Microsoft Office and did not tell me it would be wiped from my computer. I now have lost eight years of word and excel documents...go to the cloud you say...I guess it must all be somewhere but despite hours of navigation-NOTHING. If I had had any idea; if they had told me before hand, Microsoft Office would be deleted in the process of wiping my data there's no way I would've done it. BIG thumbs down read more

Do use U Break I Fix King of Prussia / Wayne PA!!!!!! NOTE: my mom brought her "cracked" iphone 6 to this store this past weekend. The tech told her it was the case that was cracked, not the phone. No Charge! Could have easily swindled my mom, so glad you didn't! Good work guys! This was my first experience replacing an iPad's glass. I first went to the Apple store where I learned Apple doesn't repair iPads. My only option at the apple store would be to get a refurbished iPad for roughly $350. I Yelped, and I Googled until I found UBreakIFix in the gateway shopping center. $149 to replace the iPad's glass, a pretty good deal in my book after talking to the apple folks. There are some kits available online to repair it yourself, but I have enough trouble putting on screen protectors that I new I wanted to leave this to the experts...glad I did! I found many good reviews, a few complaints, and a solid rating on Yelp. Good by me! Saturday I dropped the iPad off and was told it would be ready in 3 hours. They called in about 2 hours with the good news that it was done and they had no issues. When I picked it up they powered it on for me and let me check it out. Looks great, brand new glass! Told me about the 90 day warranty and pointed it out to me on the back of the receipt. I was very pleased with the process as well as the end result/ Well worth the price compared to getting a refurbished iPad! The store itself is just past Trader Joe's heading toward 5 Below\Staples. Not much going on in the storefront...a few chairs, a TV that wasn't on, and a few pieces of art on the wall. All the magic must happen in the back. I shattered my screen on my iPhone while hiking. The iPhone still worked except for the face recognition feature, and I had to enter my passcode to open it every time as well as my passwords for the apps. Who can remember all of their passwords!!! It wouldn't have just FELL OFF, got my phone fixed january 18th, today is january 30th, count the days that my phone screen literally fell off my phone and the cable connecting the phone to the screen broke with it, because they used no 3m screen adhesive or screen glue to hold the screen on! and they will not fix it, they will not fix it under their 1 year under warranty, want me to pay again for a new screen, bc their words we don't use any adhesive to a fix a phone screen, just the secondary back up clips that aline the screen, so it sticks to the adhesive/glue, my phone dropped from my hand on the toilet and the screen fell off, they are scammers, bbb, dept of consumer affairs all getting complaints. they say its not covered because i dropped it , it fell 1 and a half feet and the screen fell off detaching the wires, im without a work phone now till they figure it out or the bbb, read carefully they are a scam company and i'm shaking in stress of all of this, you have to under google guidelines to repair the phone use 3m adhesive or 3m glue to replace a pixel phone screen. if you dont you dont know what you are doing in a phone business, i replace phone screens on many pixels, this was under insurance so i didnt, they dont know what they are doing, complete incompetence. read more

Only way to get your Google pixel fixed! My sound stop working on incoming calls and speakerphone. I read the Google community I tried everything and I even called Google support all to no avail. The guys here quickly diagnosed it ordered apart which was a speaker made an appointment to install it and put in the warranty claim directly with Google. No charge and everything was done quickly and accurately. They were there to answer any questions. As I reset up the phone siinve they require a factory reset if they keep your phone to work on it. I guess this is safety precaution which makes sense but still is a pain. I love my pixel once again! read more

The battery on my google pixel 3 xl swelled so I had to get it replaced. Verizon was going to give me a replacement at $199 dollars. I went in with a known factory issue with my phone that was under warranty. They confirmed no water damage, however after they had phone for a few hours they said one of the water sensors had been tripped and that the phone would no longer be under warranty. I was told that humidity or sweat could trip the sensor (I kind of doubt that) but I am confident no water got into the phone. Seems like a bait and switch, considering I have it in writing that there is no water damage. Not only did I have to pay for the repair out pocket but now suspiciously my phone is out warranty should there be future issues. Did a claim through Verizon with my insurance. Called them around 10:30am to see if I could come today instead of having a technician come to my house. Was told yes to come now because it was only around an hour wait time. I walked around the shopping center for an hour and shopped(good stores and restaurants around to kill time) my phone was ready before the time they told me to come back. I believe Forrest was my technician and he provided amazing customer service. I can already tell my screen is working really well because it's super fast now and was lagging when I typed on the old cracked screen. Phone looks brand new! (To be fair the gentleman who I first talked to was very helpful) So I took my PS4 to get cleaned because it sounded like a leaf blower.. called in and was told it would be 20 bucks which was perfect. Drove in, picked it up 2 hours later, asked for my power cord and without even looking the worker said "that's all we have" which made me doubt myself.. well I drive all the way home to turn all the way back because it was indeed there but the worker was too lazy to walk 4 feet to check... I wouldn't have given a 1 star review if that is all that happened... my ps4 was still noisy so I opened her up myself.. the main fan was covered in dust. They didnt do ANYTHING but possibly vaccum the side vents I hit it with canned air and a cloud of dust was expelled. I called them and was told I could bring it back in but honestly it's not worth the drive which isnt exactly close. I submitted an online request for a quote to replace the battery in my Galaxy s6 edge. It said they would get back to me within 24 hours. 48 hours, no response. I happened to be in that shopping center so I stopped in. After waiting several minutes for him to finish with another customer I told the man behind the counter I had emailed for a quote and he just shrugged. I showed him my phone and he said he would have to order it and then just made up a quote of $100, which is ridiculous for a battery replacement. He literally spoke one sentence to me. It felt like I was bothering him just being there. It was very obvious he was not interested in my business, and just shrugged as I thanked him and walked out. I dropped my iPhone 11 Max Pro a couple months ago while rock crawling a couple months ago. As you can imagine, that left the screen with deep scratches, maybe even broken. I had the shattered glass front of my iPhone replaced here. Within hours of picking it up the "new" glass started to crack from where the glass is cut for the speaker. I returned to uBreakiFix and explained that the glass had a flaw where the speaker was and asked them to fix it again. The manager was incredibly rude, said this had never happened before (see yelp review from North Wales stores that he also manages), and that there was no warranty on parts. He then proceeded to argue with me that the fact that there's no warranty on parts is written on the receipt--I had the receipt with me and it doesn't specify whether parts are included in the warranty. At this point, I decided to leave as the manager was now getting angry and aggressive. He continued to yell at me as I left the store. They said it will come on Wednesday. Wednesday came no call or update. I called them back on Thursday and now the tech said it's on back order but come in tomorrow (Friday) by 12 or 1? Went in on Friday around 2pm. They were able to take my phone in for service. I was surprised since they say the part was on back order. Service was about 2 hrs as they advertise. When I got my phone back it look brand new. So far so good no problem that I came across yet. In addition, they back up their work with a 90 days warranty. I would give the store a 5 out of 5, but since I was being told the next day and the next day I was kinda worried. But in the end phone repair was impeccable. read more
