Needed help with a quick screen repair for my iPhone because I had to fix a separate internal issue and the screen got damaged. Panicking, I came across this place that I never really gave much though to and booked a reservation. I was pretty surprised how available they were and the price estimate (lower than I expected) which worried me but I wanted help asap. Came in the next day and the guy was really nice and explained everything quickly but made things clear. I opted for the LED screen replacement and it only cost me $175 parts/labor (it would be more in most other cases aside from doing I myself). Dishonest, or incompetent? Haven't decided yet, but in any case I won't ever recommend this company to anyone and will push this story out as far and wide as possible. Will send this along with documentation in a complaint letter to the Better Business Bureau and update here after. Took my iPhone X in around 13 December because of the "green line of death" OLED issue that's common to that first generation. Apple quoted me $368 to replace the screen and battery and week to wait for parts, which didn't work for me so I went with uBreakiFix after being quoted $179 (for screen replacement) and a next day appointment. They returned it to be with the problem made even worse and zero touch response so I went from having a mildly inconvenient line on my phone to a bricked phone. During covid, while I'm desperately waiting to hear back from jobs I applied for and to hear from family for the holidays. This was all compounded by uBreakIFix's poor customer service- I was told I could expect to hear back in "24-72 hours" for a resolution, a week later and repeatedly being told over emails by Daniel C. (that I initiated) that the person who could help me was on leave, that the "district manager had to approve" further action., that I should hear back "soon." The receipt I received said if they broke my phone in the course of fixing it then I was entitled to a replacement or free repair. When I finally called and went over all this over the phone after a week I was told the following: 1) That they had tried to replace my screen with two different one and my iPhone "just wasn't responding to it," that it had to be an issue with my "motherboard." 2) Technically since they hadn't charged me after they broke my phone (??) I wasn't entitled to the free repair or replacement. I said this was like if I "went to a doctor's office and he punched me, breaking my nose, and then said I wasn't entitled to them paying the ER bill if they didn't charge me a copay" and the rep on the phone didn't have a reply for that 3) if I wanted I could bring my phone in and they'd try replacing the screen again If they could have told me all this from the start - essentially that they were incapable of fixing it, unwilling to replace it after making it unusable - I would have had more time to return some Christmas gifts and make alternate arrangements to get a new phone. Instead I went to Apple in Stonebridge, explained what happened, and they replaced the screen and battery and I walked out an hour later and down $368. Guess my motherboard was fine after all. The employee that helped me was a lady, who had mannerisms like she just woke up. First she said she couldn't find it, tried to call her coworker to ask where is it, and after waiting almost 25 minutes, said "I don't know where it is. They don't make those batteries anymore. Went in to have my battery replaced on my phone and was told that it would take 2-3 hours. I came back slightly past the third hour only to hear when the employee followed up with the tech that he was just starting on the phone. When I finally got my phone back I noticed multiple settings on my phone changed, probably to keep the tech from typing the simple PIN I temporarily set on the device. If I ever have to get anything done on my phone again it won't be at this location. read more

Where do I start?! Our daughter's Samsung tablet has been with them since the 20th of June today is July2nd finally ready. When the tablet was dropped off it was explained we needed the tablet back by July 1. We were assured we would have it back. No call no update. After having to call them almost daily because no updates were given, we should have been told it wouldn't be ready. I called yesterday and was told the part was out for delivery and if and when it arrives the tablet will be ready. Well guess what?! So I've been here one time before a couple of months ago and just knew I was about to fork over about $140+ for a new screen even though I had one of those liquid screens on it. The team of people working here are awesome! Samsung certified and all! Went in with a 2hr wait but insted they were done replacing the back glass and camers lense of my samsung note 8 and tested everything in about an hour and some change. While there they turned on Netflix to entertain me while I waited. I also liked the fact that they checked in me a few times to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. Although there was a complication when we went to pick it up and had to come back before closing, I highly recommend taking your phone here to get fixed. Overall, highly recommend and will return in the future...... UPDATE: Two days after he noticed his phone battery was becoming weak. The glass repair on my phone was flawless. Only problem is that now my phone is going haywire. The touch calibration is WAY off & now the phone starts spazzing when you try to type. Prior to the screen being replaced, I never had this issue. It was not the drop causing the shattered screen that has my phone not functioning proper because it worked just fine before the screen was replaced, even after being dropped. That's what I get for being cheap & not taking the phone to the Apple store instead. Happy to have a new screen but not so happy that I will likely now have to replace the whole phone :( Update: I paid $50 for a shatterproof screen protector by this company & now one week later, it has cracks in it & the phone has not been dropped or sustained any impact. Frankly, it was a very expensive experience it cost me a new PS4 and the old one went to garbage. I took my slim PS4 to this shop power on but no output single on TV they said it is perfectly fine we can fix it. After six days with many phone calls they called me saying we cannot fix it is a motherboard issue. I took it went home plug it in and found out it is not powering up and some screws in side. Therefore, I open it "PS4" found out the hard drive not plug in properly and 3 screws lose as well as the power buttons broken and it is not working. So my advice not go to this shop they do not know how to fix PS4. read more

I usually never leave reviews but I would advise you to read this before bringing any device to this business. If I could leave zero stars I would. Yesterday, I brought my iPhone 12 Pro Max in due to it having two broken lenses 1x and 2.5x (the cameras themselves were undamaged). The front desk guy assured me that he could replace both lenses ($75) then 5 min later said they only had one lens replacement in the back. I worked with him and said it was fine I'll replace the 1x lens since that is the standard/most used one. He said it would take about 2hrs or less which was fine. Two hours later I get a call from him saying that they found an extra lens and could replace the 2.5x camera lens, which in theory was great. An hour later, I get another call from him saying the phone was ready to be picked up...this time he says but the cameras are now vibrating/nonfunctional and he explains to me that I need to now pay $200 plus tax to fix it. His statement leaves me confused as I didn't bring in my phone with nonfunctioning cameras. I tell him I will pay the $200 to have them replace the whole thing even though it was their fault. He responds with no it will be a total of $275 plus tax and out of frustration I tell him I'm coming to the store to look at my phone. I get to the store, he brings out my phone and again explains to me that I now need to pay and extra $200 to replace the whole camera, if I want working cameras. I told him that I will not be doing so because they broke my camera. So I payed the $75 dollars for the 2 fixed lenses which I can't even use since they broke my camera. I tell him that this is an unacceptable service and he proceeded to tell me it was my fault for breaking the lenses in the first place and that I had told him to clean the lenses. I responded to him by saying so you were going to put new lenses on a dirty camera lens in which he had nothing to say. I then asked to speak to his manager to resolve this issue and he laughed and said he will be here tomorrow. I don't understand how this is funny in any manner. I explained to him if they were unsure of how to properly fix the lenses without damaging the camera he should of have me the option to replace the whole camera square from the start, he responds with I didn't know you wanted that. How would I even know if that was an option if he didn't give it to me? I showed up to this establishment with two cracked lenses and left with a fully non-functioning camera that vibrates/smells like burning metal/makes a beeping sound. As I left I told him I would see him the next day and he proceeded to laugh and said sure the cost will be another $200 to fix it plus tax. He was extremely passive aggressive and rude. Moral of the story is, don't go to this place unless you want your phone further damaged, have to pay extra to fix it and be laughed at. My friend has a cracked iPhone screen and I told her she's better off paying a little more at the apple store instead of coming here. At least she will leave as a happy costumer with a fully functional device. read more

I normally do not buy warranty repair services and this UBreakIFix showed me why I don't. I took my phone there for a simple screen repair and in the end, I ended up with very nice screen and a busted camera! Now, I have to get the whole phone replaced because they screwed up the camera and because it's not cover under the screen repair service that Asurion offers. To add insult to injury, I had to do all the communication between the the store and Asurion to get the phone replaced. You'd think the technician would have made the calls to get the phone replaced seeing as how they screwed up the camera while they were repairing the screen, apparently that's not the process between the Asurion and UBreakIFix. I dropped my cell phone in the toilet, destroyed the screen & was unable to get my pictures & contacts from the damaged phone because I did not back it up to the cloud. They were able to get my phone back to working order at a great fee & now I can get all my information off of the phone. I highly recommend them. The customer service was impeccable. I had a booting issue with my device! Where the system would not stay on properly. I turned in my laptop on Saturday, August 14, 2021. I was advised that they would keep the laptop for 7-10 days. And I would receive an update when they determined the solution. I DIDN'T hear from anyone for the next 10 days. I drove back to the store on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. And I spoke with Tibia (not sure if that was his name). But he advised me that the hard drive needed to be replaced. I'm not sure WHEN they determined this? And then he quoted me a price. I advised him that I just wanted to pickup my computer. Without replacing the hard drive. He then went to retrieve the device. And returned with the WRONG laptop. He then returned again. And advised that he COULDN'T find my laptop! And to return later in the day after they locate it. I explained to him, that I didn't have time to drive all the way back to the store. Another employee arrived 15 minutes later. And it took them 45 minutes to find my laptop. This just shows the level of professionalism (or lack of) and courtesy this company has for their customers! They DON'T value your time at all! And have NO regards for your devices. I even had to return to the store. After realizing they DIDN'T return my power cord as well. It was scratched when he presented it to me, took the phone on vacation and turned out they didn't seal it properly and now a water damaged phone.
