My first visit to UBS Arena and it was better than we expected and right off the Cross Island parkway. We arrived early even though we bought prepaid parking tickets because we didn't know what to expect. We didn't know that BMW gets a discount for parking for those people who have BMW it's good to know. We ate dinner at Belmont Hall I was hoping for a bigger dinner selection but it was standard food. I was here on Saturday night for the R&B Muisc Experience Concert which included Tamar Braxton, Lloyd, Silk, Tank, and Tyrese. It took some time to arrive here via the LIRR. Once I finally got there, the line to get inside was not long and went by quickly. This venue immediately reminded me of The Prudential Center. You're only allowed to bring in a small bag which I loved. Also, there's a small set of escalators to go up after getting your ticket scan. This place is huge! This place is clean! There are plenty of restrooms, bars, and food vendors. It's best to get here early for your event to allow time for you to use the restroom and get drinks and/or food prior to the show. My relative and I were seated in Section 112. It felt like it took forever to get there since it was a long way around the spacious venue. I think this venue is a great alternative for MSG and Barclays Center. The drinks here come in a mason jar which is different and amazing. What's not so great is the prices for the drinks. I wish there were a little less. Other than that, definitely a great venue to attend various events. read more

I love UBS because it's the closest arena to me so it's super convenient. MSG is cool too cuz I can take 1 LIRR train there but this one is the most convenient. I've been here numerous times since they opened my last time was for the Circus & for Monster Jam. I come here for Monster Jam every year now. I used to go to the Nassau Coliseum but they switched Monster Jam to UBS & been here ever since. You can also see the whole arena from your seats even though I always have good low seats when I go to UBS. They have a mini Benihana now which is super exciting. read more

We had a phenomenal time, I feel like there are no bad seats here if you're attending a concert. There are an abundance of restrooms, so I never had to wait on an insane line for the ladies room. There's so much to eat and drink here, but don't expect it to be cheap. We spent $30 for one alcoholic drink and $10 for a soda. We already ate, but we were impressed at the large number of quick service spots and some were well known names! I know it's silly, but we recommend trying the brownie. I believe it was $8 Parking: make sure to buy your parking ahead and plan to walk. The walking paths from the paid lots are super easy and not difficult so I wouldn't mind doing that again. read more

We recently went to enjoy a circus on a Saturday night and were very impressed with the level of service and the professionalism of the staff. We arrived by train and there were staff members and police to direct us to the shuttles that would take us to the arena. Everything went seamlessly with people at every intersection to direct traffic. When entering the facility, we noticed that there was an entrance for exclusively American Express card holders and we were able to use that and skip a longer line to get in. Once inside, the venue is well lit, clean and the signage is easy to navigate. More staff was inside to direct any directions from any questions you might have. Food and drink kiosks were abundant throughout but hold on to your hat. Two beers came to $46.51 plus tip. While the people behind the counter were awesome, the prices for concessions were over the top. read more

UBS Arena opened on November 2021. UBS Arena is located within Belmont Park on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, NY, a historic park that has been visited by guests for entertainment for over a century. I've been to UBS Arena twice: one for a New York Islanders - Vancouver Canucks game on December 19, 2025 and another for Disney On Ice on January 17, 2026. Both times, I took the LIRR to and from UBS Arena. There are free shuttles available between UBS Arena and Elmont-UBS Arena Station. The first time, there was a long line waiting for the shuttle so I just walked back and forth. The second time, I took the shuttle there. The walk is about 15 minutes and could be longer if there are a lot of people walking. After getting to UBS Arena, there are security checks for bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" and then your tickets are checked. The lines move seamlessly. There are signs and staff everywhere to ask for assistance. The first time I went to a Jetblue Mosaic Suite and the second time was in the DIME club section. The suite was a really nice experience and it had a separate entrance right to the arena, includes front row tickets, and cocktail bar and bartender service. The DIME Club had great seats and has an 11,000 square foot space with views of the bowl from the bar. There were private restrooms in both sections. The venue is very spacious and clean. During the hockey game, there is a puck-in-play policy where guests are required to refrain from accessing their seats while the ball or puck is in play. Arena #11 on my quest to watch the LA Kings play in all the NHL arenas. UBS is a newer arena and is really beautiful inside and out. Nice seats that aren't too cramped, lots of food options, and the in game entertainment is really fun and entertaining. Fans were awesome around us and very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their team. The arena gets really loud and creates such a fun atmosphere. The pre game activities outside in the park is also nice as they have some cornhole, hardest shot and accuracy games, food, and fire pits to stay warm. My phone was dying and they had a free charging station, it was on the 100 level by section 116, I believe. You type in a code and it locks your phone in a little locker and lets you type in the code and open it up when you're ready. Really awesome that it's free and you can feel comfortable that it will be there if you walk away from it. Getting in and out is pretty simple. Looks like a lot of people take the train, so it is a pretty long walk to the station from the arena, but once you get to the station, it is pretty easy to get to whatever other station you want to go to. Not sure how this arena is for concerts or other sports, but for hockey, it was one of the better arenas I have gone to and was such a fun experience. read more

I came here for Twice's concert (day 3)! This is my first time at this arena, it's really big. Usually would not be on my radar since it's a bit difficult to get to without a car and the LIRR + MTA combo would make the commute 1.5 hrs+ Luckily, I was able to get a ride there and back thanks to my lovely friends. I recommend getting buying parking spots earlier as the closer parking lots are sold out closer to the concert date. My friend could only get emerald parking which was about 15 min walk but they also provide a shuttle that comes occasionally (I don't know how frequent since we ended up walking). Parking is about $50. I'm not sure if there's any alternatives but I think if you don't mind walking further, you could park in residential for free. I really recommend trying to arrive early since there was so much traffic getting the venue and around the venue. We ended up arriving around 7:40pm. There's designated uber / Lyft drop off and pick up areas which was about a couple minutes walk from the entrance. The venue itself is so big. There was a main entrance, a separate entrance for people with floor tickets, and also an Amex entrance. We got in through the Amex entrance which was quick, short line. Inside the venue, there were a lot of signs but honestly it was still kind of confusing. We asked a staff for directions and they were friendly! Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly. There's plenty of restrooms and they were clean. We noticed that no staff checked our tickets as we went to our section and seats. In our section, there was a lot of people walking in and out of the rows and up and down the aisle. It was quite annoying but didn't really see any staff (except once) come down and do anything about it. The 360 stage was amazing but honestly, even at 100s section, the stage still felt so far away. Why 5 stars? Because this might be the nicest arena I've ever been to. --- --- --- The middle night of 3 arenas in 3 days, UBS Arena ended up being, by far, the best in NYC. (In fairness, I have yet to visit the Prudential Center in New Jersey, sorry Jersey). But UBS puts MSG and Barclay's to shame, and I don't think it's even close. Literally every box was checked for me: -Amazing design. -Wide concourses. -Large variety of food options that wasn't just typical arena food. -Tons of character. -Unlimited team spirit/pride for the Islanders. -Very comfortable seats. -Great sightlines everywhere. I went to New York for two basketball games: Cavs @ Knicks on a Wednesday, Cavs @ Nets on a Friday. We didn't have any plans on Thursday night, and a couple days before the trip, we decided to buy tickets to the Islanders game. I was very "meh" on this idea, but we had nothing better to do, so onward we went. It turns out, I'm so glad we did this. I could not stop taking pictures as I walked around the concourse. Whoever designed this building absolutely knocked it out of the park. I'm really not sure why the reviews are so lackluster. Maybe it's mostly related to getting here, as you basically have to take public transit? Either way, it was easy enough for us to park at the Mineola station and take the LIRR one stop to the arena. Kudos to everyone involved in this facility. Every arena built for the next 10+ years should take notes on how to do it from UBS. read more

I'm lucky to have experienced UBS Arena from floor seats and in a club box seat. Club box seats have a separate entrance, their own area with separate bathrooms, two buffet areas of food, and are between the 100s and 200s section. I was in Box 10 with a slightly straight on view of the stage. Each seat has a cupholder and a small table shared between two seats. The buffet had pretty good food, with stadium fare and more fancier cuisine. For the floor seats, I was with a friend that needed ADA accommodations. The arena staff were super friendly and helpful, except for one minor snafu. For both visits, a smooth check-in process. The day I had floor seats, I got some food from the 108 Market. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the club seats buffet. The slice of pepperoni pizza ($8.49) had a hard crust and tasted like it was sitting under the heat lamp for a while. My friend's chicken tenders and fries ($16.99) was more fries than tenders (4 pieces) and the fries were pretty dry as well. The milk bar marshmallow cookies ($6.99) was okay, though I found out it was frozen when the employee told me to take a particular one that was more defrosted than the others defrosting under the heat lamp. Transportation wise, you can take the LIRR in. Since my friend was injured, we forgone public transportation and got a rideshare. Rideshares getting here from JFK area is around $30-$40. Getting a ride back is much harder and more expensive at $90. We lucked out that we made some new friends and each of us tried our hand at securing a car, seeing who can get one first to not cancel on us. I appreciate that UBS Arena tried to make the concert experience fun. They provided chalk for people to draw outside the arena on the floor. Overall I had a good experience at UBS Arena! read more

Came here twice for Twice's concert! Venue itself is pretty big and easy to follow. You would have staff guiding you to which direction you need to go. Overall, venue is pretty clean and organized. Parking is concierge if you have a pass. Otherwise using Uber/Lyft is easy access and they do have a Rideshare for them to pick you up. Would come back here again for another concert! read more

Stars on Ice performed here over the weekend and it was an entertaining show. We had stopped at the village for a few hours before walking the 5 minutes to the arena. If we had drove in, it was $40-50 to park and this is for prepaid parking. Then you take a shuttle to the arena. This time we had a ride and we took the LIRR home. It is a 12 minute walk from the arena to the station so it isn't bad. They check your ticket at the entrance to the station. The arena is nice, a few souvenir stands and concession stands. There are plenty of restrooms but the plaques outside the restrooms are interchangeable. The womens restroom we used was actually a mens one which was why our line was moving so slowly. And the show wasn't sold out. Otherwise, it is nothing special. read more

First time at the UBS arena ever. This trip was for a concert. Traveling from Manhattan, it's usually a turn off because of how far you need to travel, but it's really not that bad taking the LIRR from Grand Central to the UBS Arena/Belmont Park stop. The arena itself looks brand new still as it's opened in 2021. The inside looks super modern and it's well maintained. Can't comment on the food as I didn't get any, but beer prices are still ridiculous. After experiencing this venue, I'd come back out here again. read more

Went for Jesse McCartney & the Jonas Brothers. The arena is beautiful & clean. The price I paid for my ticket was extremely reasonable considering who was performing there. However the $15 fee for Dime Club Access is a bit much for something that's not optional. Yes there are seats in that area & concessions are less crowded, but if you don't want food or drinks & are just there for the show, it's basically an extra $15 to walk through the Dime Club to access your seat. Another thing is the price of drinks. I had a very long day and knew I wanted a drink when I got there, but it was almost $29 for a drink before tip. I thought it would have been like $23 which is still a lot for a drink. The show itself was great though! read more

This is a great arena, but I can only speak for concerts, as I have never seen a sporting event here. I have been here several times, and always had a good time. I have sat on the floor as well as the bowl and have to say that I had a great view form all areas. They have a lot of food options, prices are inline with your typical A list arena in the country. Also, the food is good, and the beers cold. Ingress and egress is easy, but either leave early or stay for a bit after, as the traffic is busy as expected for large events. It's a trek from the city, but easy in an Uber. read more

My friend invited me to the Machel Montano event on April 14th, 2024. My husband and I were excited to join in on the fun. We'd never been to this venue before, so it was a great opportunity to check it out while enjoying a night of great music and energy. The atmosphere was lively, and the crowd was full of positive vibes. We had the added bonus of sitting in the VIP suite, where we could relax and indulge in the buffet-style food and desserts. The chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful. The mini beef patties were absolutely delicious. Definitely a highlight of the night! We were able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience, enjoying both the performances and the fantastic food. I have been making my way deeper into the NHL arenas tour and this was in the high-teens of arenas visited, so I have a good amount of NHL arenas to compare this against on both sides of the border. It is not the United Center in CHI or Rogers in YVR, but it ranks very highly outside of tip top. From Manhattan you take the LIRR out of Penn. After about 40ish minutes when you get deposited at the station you go down the stairs and can take a bus the mile or so walk from the station to the arena. Seeing as my neep nops were already frozen over hard in the ~16 degree weather, I was not going to be outside longer than I needed to be, so I took the bus like everyone else sensible rather than walking it like the pilgrims did. When you exit the bus there is the American Express (tm) door that lets you in free and quickly as long as you have an Amex card on you. I don't have a platinum or anything fancy that will impress, I have one of the no-annual-fees and no frills cards and they still let me briskly sashay through this door like I owned it. I have never seen this before at the other NHL arenas, or the MLB stadium tour I am doing with half visited so far, but I really liked this deluxe, fast, upscale option to get in out of the cold. It just so happened the area you enter from the Amex door was basically right where I was sitting in that section 120. So this is the ideal lazy person's way to get to your seat. Train from Penn, go down a few steps to a bus, go up a few steps to the Amex door, the milkshake joint is right there on the way to your section, then you just need to take a few steps down to the glass. The non-alcoholic milkshake game at UBS Arena was very good for a NHL arena. I don't drink alcohol so the whiskeymen's liquor and bar stuff does nothing for me. But a milkshake? Sign me up. Look for the Burgerology kiosk outside section 119 a few steps off of the Amex secret entrance. The rainbow cookie milkshake was a very interesting creation. For $13.24 you receive: vanilla ice cream mixed with raspberry puree, chocolate syrup, rainbow cookie pieces, whipped cream, and a rainbow cookie with a whole lot of rainbow sprinkles. I was surprised how many sprinkles. It was mostly sprinkles both in and outside the cup. Not the best milkshake I have ever had, that honour belongs to the Chicago White Sox's campfire milkshake last season, literally the best part of being live in-person on the south side last summer for the Sox's historically, hilariously-awful season where they went an impressive 41-121!! But it was a surprise to get a refreshing, colourful beverage such as this at a hockey game. Significantly better arena for hockey and milkshakes than the other metro arenas. For less than half the price of the worst seat at MSG, you get a much more comfortable seat 3-4 rows off of the glass. No brainer to get your tickets on seatgeek, put a no-annual-fee amex card in your stylish coinpurse, and figure out the train schedule to arrive somewhat on time for the next game. read more

Pretty nice arena......as of now. This is a newer arena, so things still look nice and clean. Seating is standard enough, but if you've been to one arena you've basically been to them all though there are some differences of course. The seats here were comfortable enough either way. Any staff I encountered there, whether security, admission, or vendor were friendly. There was one staff member who was friendly, but couldn't understand the seating and pointed us in the complete wrong direction - I was able to figure it out myself very quickly, so no harm done. I mentioned it being clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. Aside from the crowds, I forgot I was in an arena with the bathrooms looking so......clean. Surely it was a fluke! The parking looked like an issue. I know someone who was at the arena previously and they warned me about the parking. From what I saw, it was a mess from the shuttles to just the typical madness when events let out. The surrounding area isn't the best either. We were lucky as we had someone pick us up, so I can say I experienced the mess - but seeing it, I will definitely be arranging the same thing next time. As of when I went, parking was a steep $60. So be warned. Overall a nice arena that one can hope will never change. I'd come back here for sure. read more

Honestly I don't know. Obviously we're stuck going where shows are if we don't have a choice. And that's what happened here. I literally wanted to throw up and the 300s. Didn't seem like it would be bad but then I was up there. Because this was group sales I didn't have a choice of where we sat. More importantly I got chicken and fries for two kids two waters and a sprite. It cost me $63. I just think that's absurd now I know never to buy anything there. To me, Yelp is all about reviewing food and museums. Okay, and concert venues. I guess this qualifies. Well, I came for an Islanders game with my friends, so here's the DL: The fence is brutal. Probably because of where it's located, but if you are walking over and not parking in their lots, I will tell you now: once the fence begins... It. Doesn't. End. Walked the better part of a mile trying to find our way into the entrance. But that's not UBS. That's on us. Once we were inside, I have to say I was impressed. It's super-easy to navigate to your seat, to find restrooms, food, etc. Signs are clear and consistent. Staff are easy to find, though the first one I found was just accompanying a mascot for photos and didn't know the venue. Finding our way out wasn't too bad either, and I didn't notice any queues at the doors - capacity served well! Can't speak to the food; I noticed a couple of stands were not your typical food, but the prices are what you'd expect at an arena. Soda in particular was atrocious - $7!!!! All the food felt like it had about a $4 markup, so the more expensive your meal item, the less percent markup you pay. But yeah, soda at a ballpark venue should be about $4 or so. It costs them pennies. Aaaanyway, this new arena is very nicely put together, done well. We were sitting up high so maybe that contributed to a little bit of soft audio, or because this was "Kids' Day" so they turned it down, but if I lived on Long Island I'd be happy with having this here. read more

The easiest way to get here (at least for me) was via LIRR. Came here for a Seventeen concert. Lines were long when were arrive, granted that we arrived 2+ hours before tje show. There wasn't much staff guiding people where to go and what line to take. They had an entrance specifically for Amex card holders, but the main gate became faster to get in rather than the Amex Entrance. Once I got it, everything was more organized and more staff was present to guide the people. read more

We had middle row 1st floor seats and my gf doesn't like to use her disability to get special privileges. From the moment we walked in the staff couldn't be more accommodating, kind , and caring. Went to an Islanders game and had a great time. It's large but has a small feel about it which I like. Wish I went a tad bit earlier so I can spend more time in The Park (outside area), there was food, activities for the kids and an ice skating rink. Once you resign to the fact you're paying stadium prices for food/drink, $8 bottles of water, $8 boxes of popcorn won't hurt your feelings as much. TO CONCERT GOERS: DO YOUR RESEARCH, WALK FAST BACK TO THE TRAIN AND HAVE YOUR LIRR TICKET ACTIVATED SO WE ALL CAN QUICKLY GO HOME Pros: - secluded as in not in the middle of a city so it feels safer - LIRR station nearby (about a 10 minute walk) - Shuttle buses exists, but the timing can be iffy, but at least the venue has them to the LIRR station - lots of bathrooms inside - kind, respectful and engaging staff! Shout out to the man with the blue cap who hyped up the crowd! The staff are respectful and open to learning about kpop concert culture - lots of bathrooms inside - the park is cute, lots of space to socialize, things to do Cons: - long security lines - the bags don't go through xray? I had a bag at the size limit and they squeezed it and let me in? someone could easily have concealed a prohibited item. - LIRR station is a 10 minute walk away because the one on property was not running :( - food and drinks are expensive. I have never written a review of a sports/entertainment venue but after my last visit to this establishment I figured I should. My wife and I typically attend a few Islander games each season. We have done this since UBS opened in 2021. We have noticed a vast improvement here from everything from parking to food to guest experience. We usually park in the emerald lot which is easily accessible from exit 26D on the Cross island Parkway. From there you are transported by bus to the arena. The first few years this was chaotic. Long waits, lack of bus seating which on occasion led to a pretty long walk (usually in bad weather) to the arena. This time we entered the parking lot and there were plenty of employees directing you to the appropriate spot to park. They were friendly and courteous. Once you park there are several clearly marked bus lanes. We immediately entered a bus and were at the arena in minutes. When you arrive outside the arena there are many employees directing you to the proper entrance. The inside of the venue is really attractive. There are Multiple food items such as sliced steak sandwiches, nachos, chicken, burgers , dogs Etc. The quality of the food exceeds most sports venues. There are many bars serving specialty cocktails as well as a nice beer selection. Bathroom lines are usually not that long . If anyone reading this has been to an Islander game at the Coliseum you will appreciate this. The view from basically every seat is good. The in game entertainment is great. Plenty of crowd participation and give aways. For those who travel by LIRR there are video boards with live train times. Upon leaving we experienced the same smooth bus ride to our car. One of my favorite arenas in NY! Love coming here for their events including the NY Islander games, Disney on Ice productions, and Cirque Du Soleil. The staff here are super friendly even when it is busy and packed. The food is expensive, but good. The facilities are top notch. I don't usually get access to the lounges, but when I do I have thoroughly enjoyed the premium food and seats. Highly recommended venue! read more

I have been to the arena multiple times with my family. There's plenty of parking but definitely make sure you arrive as early as possible so that you can avoid the traffic of parking. I recommend parking on the lower level so it's easier to get out. I thoroughly enjoy how clean this facility is especially the restrooms. I love that the staff is thorough but quick in getting you through security. Definitely make sure you have extra money on your food or to make purchases. read more
