Built in 2009 to replace the prior, this is a lovely stadium accessible by the 4 and B/D trains. They have a few good views and big concourses. Home of the NY Yankees, of course. The facility bathrooms were crowded at various points, but intra-inning you were ok. The Ford MVP Club - not worth much - while you have a bar, it was understaffed, and the food was just so-so (some better options outside). Free water, popcorn, soda, and peanuts but no bathroom of your own. Was "included" in the section 116 tickets but when you buy, recognize that you need to get a separate app to load the tickets on - not a fan of that at all. You get a bracelet so you can re-enter later. Fun was the No Tarp crowd that grew mid-game and was noisy even in a 2-9 loss to the Tigers. Ice cream in a little Yankees cap is fun, as is the bucket of chicken. The cups (shakers for some mixed drinks) and the stadium cup for a mixed Jim & diet were nice takeaways (plastic though).

I enjoyed visiting here on 7/4 for 250 anniversary America. lots of time give away Yankee logos. Try to look at the official web. So many things to see at Yankee stadium food and goods. Arrive at least an hr advance to relax. Be ready for your tickets before getting in! Infront of train or bus esp train could be packed with Yankee fan. Food stand has Yankee originals. I'm collecting it! See photos. When you bring water bottle, there're water refills infront of the restroom men and women areas. After the game, you'll allow to stay at Hard Rock Cafe.

What an amazing time at the home field! This was such an exhilarating experience! Yankees won of course! Of course food and drinks were a little pricey but it comes with the experience!

As a Yankees fan, coming here was on my bucket list for a long time. Like a lot of others, I am a big fan of history and do wish that they kept the old stadium around...that being said our game day experience was pretty good! Our first order of business was visiting monument park right as gates opened at 5:30 since it closes before first pitch. Best access is entering in through Gate 8, and surprisingly there was no line for a Friday evening game! This is a must for any baseball fan and you can see all of the retired Yankee numbers along with a monument plaque for greats. We also had a good field and dining experience. Tried the angry lobster roll, grub and tub chicken bucket, and ice cream chicken bucket. The chicken was alright, nothing too amazing but it is a lot of fries and a good amount of tendies. Pretty decent value for $23 since it comes with a souvenir drink. Lobster roll was great! I really liked the seasoning, and it came with a side of chips too. The real highlight was the ice cream chicken bucket! The hype is real with this one! Each drumstick was made intricately with yummy cornflake coating and the chocolate pretzel bone is a great touch. Seating in the 212 section was pretty fun. The Yanks are doing great right now so the energy in the crowd was amazing. We went crazy during Ben Rice's homer! Only downside was some people got a bit too crazy and threw up right behind my wife's seat...not great but it is what it is I guess. We enjoyed walking around the stadium, talking to fans, and taking in all the different views while getting our food. The one thing I'd say is that while our experience was good, can't help but feel the stadium lacks a bit of character. The concourse is just okay compared to most other modern stadiums, and there aren't many things other than monument park and the Yankee museum that make the place stand out. The great hall is cool, but you don't really spend much time there. It's a good stadium, but I feel like there were some missed opportunities during construction that could have put it in the upper echelon of MLB ballparks.

Our Yankee Stadium Review: A fairly decent experience at Yankee Stadium, Yankees vs. Boston, From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric, The stadium is fairly clean, it could use some paint and cleaning in some spots, broken handrails etc...The stadium offers excellent sightlines The food and beverage options are super pricey and full of booze (no energy drinks?) the staff is friendly and helpful. Whether you're a lifelong Yankees fan or just visiting for a game, the energy of the crowd and the iconic setting make for an unforgettable experience. A first-class ballpark that perfectly blends tradition with modern amenities. Highly recommended for any sports fan. Can be better with some little upgrades

It's always been a dream to make it to the baseball Mecca so being here felt surreal. This is more of an admiration post opposed to a review! I'll be back for another game, concert etc. The prices are NY prices so don't expect not to spend money while your here.

I love the Yankee stadium. It's so much fun coming to a game. My kids love it and the kids club is a lot of fun. A good break for them after sitting for a bit. The bathrooms are clean and the staff has always been easygoing. Popcorn a Stella and a share bucket with ice cream in a baseball cup is are jam. Have a Mastercard? Get the perks. Cashless stadium.

So many food choices and snacks! I was so excited to even see some nostalgic NYC staples like Mister Softee.

The Yankees get 5 stars this time because they won, the weather was nice, the fans were fun in the area we sat

I came for a Yankees vs. KC game as my friend is a huge baseball fan and wanted to see the stadium. It's an open layout which is nice with food and drink stands surrounding the field and reasonable prices for a big city ball park. The crowd was energetic and it was fun even as a non-baseball fan. Worth checking out especially as it's so easy to get to via subway!

I come several times during the season so I'm surprised I haven't made a review yet. My favorite baseball team...but sadly, not my favorite stadium. Food selection is just ok. The garlic fries are ALWAYS fire. Staff IN the stadium and at concessions are cordial but staff in the merch stores are so aloof and seemed so pressed. Maybe it's the abundance of people but they should know it's a fast-paced gig. In any case, I go for my Yankees. Win or lose, it's always a fun time.

What an amazing day spent visited monument park for the first time along with the museum. They are must go when visiting a game. Love the energy snd enthusiasm. It's a vibe always.

Everyone and their brother had a pinstriped jersey. My pinstriped vintage pants ( thrifted in the West Village yesterday) were a vibe!

Where's the safest place to park for a visit to Yankee Stadium?

Parking lot if you are ok to spend $40, else Grand Concourse.

    Best parking at Yankee stadium?

161st garage. It's pricey but location is awesome. Easy in and easy out.

Where can try and find street parking?

You can park in the Upper Eastside of Manhattan and then take the subway to the stadium Parking on the streets around the park might be quite far away from the stadium.

I would like to give a gift card to a Yankee game. There are various sites but I'm not that good at knowing which may be legitimate or not? Also denomination would buy very good seats for two?…

What do you mean a gift card. Do you want to buy tickets to a game? Use either Ticketmaster or StubHub. Or call the yankees stadium office directly and they can assist you.

I'm looking for parking close to the stadium either on the street or in an inexpensive lot?

You can find parking walking distance to the stadium (< 5 min walk). Try using Spothero.

A large purse is fine but not a backpack

Tonight I'm bringing a friend with difficulty walking. Trying to park close to gate 4. I believe the lot on 161st street would be or best option (pending availability). Any other suggestions?

The river avenue garage is your best option imo provided you can be parked a minimum of 90 minutes before the game as River ave closes. The address is 950 River Ave. BTW it is up the street from my favorite Yankee stadium bar....the Dugout 880 River…

One of the best parts of the event was how they introduced the elite runners. They turned the lights off in the arena, announced each athlete individually, and they ran out onto the track with sparks shooting up. That whole presentation was fire and really made the moment feel special for the athletes and the crowd. The atmosphere was great and you could feel the excitement in the building. My only complaint is about some of the staff (not all). I had been sitting in a section for over four hours after being told by one worker that it was fine to sit there. Later on, a few other workers came over and told me I had to move. It wasn't even the request that bothered me--it was the way it was delivered. When you're dealing with adults, especially paying guests who've been there for hours, it's all about how you communicate. At one point it felt like they were all teaming up like Voltron instead of just getting a supervisor to clear things up. Situations like that can easily be avoided with better customer service and communication. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere until my daughter ran off the principal. Aside from that situation, the event itself was great. The competition, the energy in the building, and the way they highlight the elite athletes made it a really memorable experience.

Their collection includes 18,000 works, including works by Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Goya, El Greco, and Joaquín Sorolla. When I visited last weekend, the largest space of the museum was closed as they set it up for a new exhibit. Unfortunately, that meant only two small spaces were open to view. Luckily, one of the spaces I was able to see was the Sorollo Room. It displays 14 paintings painted by Joaquín Sorolla. Together, the paintings depict different provinces of Spain and total 227 feet in length. It's incredible and worth a trip to the museum on its own. It's free to visit the museum, so if you're in the area it's well worth stepping by. If you get lucky, you'll get to see more than I did (bad timing!), but even if you see nothing more than the Sorolla Room, it's worth it. They've qualified for the playoffs every year but one, highlighted by a first-place finish in the Eastern Conference standings in 2019. Generally, a fairly good showing for such a new club. The team primarily plays its games at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. When configured for MLS games, the stadium has a capacity of about 29,000-30,000. Like other MLS teams, average attendance has been good. Official attendance records show roughly 24,000 fans per game (80-82% capacity). Over the years, several various plans for a dedicated soccer stadium designed specifically for the team - from Manhattan to Elmont (Belmont Stakes) - have been proposed, but nothing has materialized yet. In the club's short history, Spanish striker David Villa has been, by far, the club's best and most popular player. He played for New York from 2015 to 2018 and holds the club records for most appearances (126) and goals (80). He was a forward on the Spanish national team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup. And word is they may end up moving to Queens. Can you imagine. My fave borough and one of my least fave teams. I mean they're affiliated with Man City and play in the same colours. How disgusting. So considering I've been a fan of Red Bull NY since back when they were Metrostars... then it follows that I wouldn't love NYCFC, their rival. Of course I'm not a fan of NYCFC, who are the rich kids of the East Coast, think Galaxy but worse. They get a lot of good players piped in, and they do have a few good people behind them, but they're basically the Manchester City of North America. So not my favourite by any stretch of the imagination. Red Bull will always be the heart and the soul of the NY area football for me. These guys play at Yankee Stadium and they have been looking for a place in Queens to play, but for me the team of people from Queens is always going to be Red Bull even though they're over New Jersey. I'm so not a fan of the Manchester City Style kit or the ownership, and I'm hoping that they continue middling around and don't really go anywhere. But it's good to have a two-team New York area rivalry for sure. And it's definitely one of the classic legendary stadiums for baseball and as a baseball Arena it would get 5 stars and is second to none. As a soccer arena it gets three stars and just doesn't seem like a good home for this team or the sport, and it's no coincidence that they've been largely struggling in it. So the stadium that Ruth built is amazing and it's been renovated recently and it's just way too expensive - that's the main problem. If you live in this part of the Bronx you'd have to probably spend a week's wages just to come and see a game here. And a watery beer that is American of course, is going to cost you between 12 and $20. So forget it.
