Kurt has been my jeweler for over 30 years! I recently went to see him in May to get my stone set lower in an eternity band. Since it was a custom order, he said it would take about three weeks. It was ready a few days early. When my daughter and I went to pick it up, it was absolutely stunning! We bought a beautiful rose gold, pear shape morganite ring with his tungsten wedding band for $500 total. I get so many compliments on my ring. Kurt is the absolute best! I can honestly say he will be my official Jeweler for life. So let's rewind to 5 years ago when I upgraded my wedding band set. So first off, I wanted a floating setting and no one offered the style, it's a "liability", according to other jewelers. I understand the maintenance of this setting, have had loose diamonds before, have had them fall out and have even lost one. It's the price you pay for the look. But doesn't mean it shouldn't be offered, it's my favorite look. I hate when diamonds are set in too much metal on wedding rings , makes them look clunky. I went to the jewelry mart to secretly spy on another shop/booth that I've been emailing with regarding a custom setting for a 0.58 carat diamond. I checked out several booths who quoted me lower prices than the other place but I didn't feel confident. The other booths I visited also tried to sell me semi-mounts to reset the 1.1 carat diamond that I was already wearing but I tried to stay strong and keep looking because honestly, this place is just so overwhelming and the prices seemed to get lower the further I went. I wasn't even halfway through the entire room when I happened upon Kurt's booth. He was just quietly arranging some items for his display while I browsed through his semi-mounts. He graciously let me try on all the settings I was interested in. Before I even asked him for a quote on the setting I had in mind, I found the perfect already-made-setting for my small center stone. All we needed to do was put it in the ring! I was hesitant at first because the deal he gave me was almost too good to be true but I finally gave in. He even took me back to the jeweler's room where they put my stone in this beautiful setting. He also cleaned my other rings for me. I'm so impressed by his no nonesense style and professionalism. No pressure to buy from him at all. After we completed that transaction, I showed him the setting I originally had in mind and he was like, you know what, I just got something in that's very similar to that and he wasn't lying! He quoted me a price that's almost half of the other places to custom make the setting. I'm definitely coming back for him to make me that setting for my bigger diamond. So excited! read more

I came here to get my engagement ring resized and the experience I had was beyond belief. The quote I received was the lowest and that's what bought me in. On top of charging half of what other places charge, my ring was polished to look bright and brand new for no extra charge. The customer service I received was on a level more places should strive for.
