Have been here for twice now for tattoos. Great experience both times for art. The artist take pride in their work. Yes it's a bit of a drive but worth it. My tattoo session with Justin at Uchiha Tat House was honestly one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had. Justin killed it on the piece, but what really stood out was the energy of the whole shop. I designed my own tattoo and just simply wanted it copied. It's a big piece for my back and waist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All 3 of my visits were a bad experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was referred to Devin by the owner after I asked who can copy my work to a tee. I learned later on he was giving his graduated apprentice more clientele (which isn't a problem itself) Devin is very sweet and I can tell hes very talented with color. The works he presents is well done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]His customer service is awful and his talent unfortunately doesn't make up for his lack of experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My first visit I expected to get everything done in one session bc that's what he told me. He said he wasn't feeling well that day and didn't wanna do a half assed job so he just did my waist. I realized later in the appointment he wasn't doing what I asked but he wasn't feeling well and what he did had to be done anyway so I told him at the end if we can add more to it another time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He asked what I meant and I showed him my picture I drew up, he asked to have it sent to him and I showed him that I did and it was in our dms. He apologized for not seeing it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Second visit was starting my back. It was not coming out, his linework is not very solid yet and the shading is very lacking. I had him finish the first flower before continuing my upper half so we can make sure I can get what I want. My skin reached a limit and the tension was high so I ended the session early. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He did not communicate with me why my tattoo was difficult for him and that it would take as long as it did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My back piece doesn't look bad and unfixable but it's flat and definitely needs more work. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked another session bc I saw we were close to what I wanted and he had my color and stencil all done and I thought he cared enough to make sure we get where I want it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I learned on my own what I was asking for was impossible to do in one session and the style is more advanced but that was not communicated and it's not a clients job to have to research on their own to understand their service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My third visit I drove 30 mins to be told I was double booked and my appointment was the one he forgot to put in the books.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started this tattoo end of august and now I have unfinished work in October. He doesn't care for the pieces that don't align with his style as he didn't even work on the shading for my stencil. He did give me a discount for the two sessions we worked on but I don't care for the money if I'm paying for emotional turmoil. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think it's pretty crazy all 3 of my visits were crappy and I really did try to give him chances to give him more experience despite multiple people around me telling me not to continue since he already messed up the first time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Theres multiple very talented artist in there with lots of experience.
