This is a TRASH law firm. They took $12,500 from me and the only thing that they succeeded in doing was to damage my case so badly that I was exposed to a serious countersuit. They did no meaningful work and failed to meet any of their own deadlines, severely worsening my situation. I sued them for my retainer back, and they failed to show up even to defend themselves! They appealed verdicts several times, claiming that they missed deadlines because... get this...they claimed that they don't check their mail regularly! After wasting two and half years and appealing several Court verdicts they were denied further appeals, yet Kunal still refused to return my money. In the end I had to get a Writ of Execution and send Dallas County Constables TO HIS HOUSE WITH ORDERS TO EMPTY IT and sell everything to pay the judgment before this utterly amoral and unethical embarrassment to the legal profession finally paid up. Hiring Kunal or his firm will be the worst mistake that you ever make, I finally received a cheque last week from Dallas County, which only happened after Kunal had to explain to his wife and children how he screwed over his own client, BEGGING to be allowed to pay in the end rather than have his family's belongings seized and sold. ONE OF THE MOST UNETHICAL LAW FIRMS - STAY AWAY. Udeshi Law Firm is, in my opinion, an unethical and unprofessional operation. I honestly don't understand how the Bar has not revoked their licenses. When I first contacted them regarding a legal issue involving my late mother's estate, they showed a lot of interest in helping me - of course they did! According to my mother's Will, I was entitled to one-third of the estate, but my sisters refused to honor her withes. I was hoping Udeshi Law Firm would advocate for my rights. After paying their retainer, I ended up spending a total of $32,755.00 - and received absolutely NOTHING in return. No meaningful updates, no progress on the case, and no accountability. Every time I called, I was either sent to voicemail or told that the attorney I had been working with was no longer at the firm. Mr. Kunal Udeshi personally PROMISED to take over my case - and I had a witness with me who heard this conversation - but he never followed through. I feel completely CHEATED. I strongly advise against hiring Kunal Udeshi from Dallas, Texas as your attorney. My experience with him was nothing short of unprofessional and negligent. After agreeing to take my case and charging $5,000 he failed to communicate for over eight months, ignored calls and emails, and showed up to trial completely unprepared--arriving just 10 minutes before court started with no strategy in place. He didn't know the details of my case, misled me about key facts (including claiming the opposing party had no legal representation when they did), texted during the trial, and failed to file discovery on time, leaving our case with no evidence or supporting facts to present. To make matters worse, he tried to charge me over $1,000 for discovery that was never even attempted or done, misquoted how much I paid him in court, and was texting during trial instead of paying attention. After the trial, he abruptly left the courthouse without discussing the outcome. It has been two months since the court's judgement was handed down, and I have yet to receive any communication from him despite reaching out multiple times. His representation was not only incompetent but also unethical. I have reported him to the State Bar of Texas and highly recommend that anyone in need of a reliable attorney look elsewhere. I have been working with Udeshi Law for Probate matter. Unfortunately Probate is a necessary evil and I chose them from a list of options, they were not referred. they have been dragging their feet to help me close out the probate process, BUT they have received all payment in advance. Including a balance to draw from. they literally have left my multiple emails and phone call messages without ANY response for more than 90 days. The Probate has switched many hands, they have too much turn over. I live out of town so I cannot pop into their offices. The experience working this firm has been terrible and worse is that my hands are tied because they have my money, the information and I need them to communicate between the courts. you have a choice and I strongly suggest DO NOT choose this law firm. read more

These people are thief's! Unprofessional to say the least. My mother hired them to help with a probate case. Paid the retainer and now that they owe her a refund for the balance they refuse to take her call. The couple of times they have answered they tell her a check has been mailed or that they are busy and will call her back. She has been waiting for the check since Sept 2023 and it is now January 2024. Unfortunately she live in Las Vegas and they are in Dallas so the only way to communicate is via phone call or email. They don't even deserve a 1 star. You all are horrible people by keeping money that does NOT belong to you!! Why email someone that they will be getting a refund if you plan on stealing the money. I hired this law firm to get guardianship of my mother because she has been in an abusive relationship. I was not referred but picked them from a list of law offices that did Guardianships. DON'T HIRE THEM!!! THEY DID NOT HELP MY MOTHER AT ALL!! I hired them in December 2023. The first and second attorney I was assigned to quit the Udeshi Law Firm. Then the office tossed me and my mom around to another attorney in the office but I never talked to that attorney, then this office tossed me and my mom off to 2 other attorney's not in their office and they did NOTHING for my mom, the last attorney finally got a court date: 10 months down the road but she didn't even stand up for my mom AT ALL she just let the Judge give my mom back to her abuser, that was October 28, 2023 and within 30 hours of my mom going back to her abuser she was dead. Those attorney's names are Branden Smith and Sachi Dave-Rode. I spent about $20,000 on attorney's, well I throw away $20,000 of my retirement money for fingerprints (which I had to drive 600 miles round trip for), background checks, guardianship classes, faxes, court costs and other things. After my mom was murdered by her abuser it took me months to pull myself together before I could call Udeshi Law firm and ask for my file...well as of today (June 24,2024) I do not have my file. I have called the Udeshi Law Firm at least 2 or 3 times a month but still nothing. These attorneys don't return my phone calls don't return my emails and DIDN'T SAVE MY MOTHER!!! if your thinking about using this law firm for your legal needs I highly recommend looking somewhere else. During the 2 years of working with this law firm, I had 2 different attorneys that were working for me quit. it extended my case having to repeat me self to different people what my goals were, which was very frustrating. All the reviews about terrible communication are very true. I have been dealing with them for the past 2 years and it's been terrible. the only reason I dealt with it for so long was cause I didn't find a point when I felt like we were close to closing the deal. What put me over the edge was when I demanded a phone call with the attorney, she said she would call me after her lunch. 4pm comes around, I call back asking to speak to her and was told that she left for the day and said she would call me back in the morning. that call never came. and the same things happen with email communications. it has happened several times. Very unhappy. The firm charged me incorrectly, not applying the referral discount I was entitled to. As a result, they stopped working on my case when I should have had retainer remaining. Because of this, I lost most of my possessions and ended up in a horrible situation. I was misled by Udeshi. I recorded ALL my calls and communications. One day they are apparently giving me half my retainer back, the next they say I am overdrawn. Because they kept sending emails to opposition, and apparently had no replies, and this alone cost over $1000?! I was not kept up with progress, or how my retainer was being used (MISused). They eat up your retainer with no work or results to show, do things without permission or consent and then try to extort more money. The legal profession has a bad rap, and it is because of firms like this. They made no attempt to fix their errors, and just ghosted me unless I paid them an additional $5000 (I was originally told my case was simple and would be between $1000-1500, and we settled out of court). read more

I called them to hire for probate of my sister's will, and I was unsure of whether I wanted to do it or not. I wasn't sure if I needed to do so. They lied and said if I wanted to stop the process before done, they will not charge me, and they have given me 2 invoices of charges. I never got the first time consultation with the attorney they assigned me. I do not even know her last name, just that it is Ashley. She never called me for the consultation. They supposed to did an emergency order because my niece was trying to take the body out of state. She would have gotten it, if it had not been for my nephew objection, because they promise to have it done and filed, the next day, and did not. I had to get the body released with the will. I cancelled the emergency order, but charged me so much for it. I received a couple of calls from Ashley attorney on question, but not explaining the process, or consultation of how things work with me. I was busy at work, and did not have time to ask questions. I thought about it later, and realize it appears that I might have to pay my sister bills, if do the probate, so I had question, and I called the attorney, but she never called me back. I kept calling because she was not returning my calls, and I got charged for each of those calls. I had 2 appointment made to speak with her and she still did not keep either of those appointments, and call me. I fired her on the 2nd appointment day, sent an email, and then she called me trying make it look like she was calling for the appointment, but it was past the appointment time. She only called after I sent the email to fire them, so I believe it was a strategy of deceit. They are still holding my retainer, and have not refunded me anything. Not trustworthy, I encountered numerous difficulties while attempting to fill out the necessary paperwork and could not get any assistance from that law firm. Therefore, before any work had been started, I requested my retainer fee of $2000. I had to complain to Legal Shield and my credit card company in an attempt to get my refund. I contacted my credit card company after a month of false promises that my refund was being processed. Within 10 business days of my complaint, they were able to get me my reimbursement based on the data I gave them. I will never knowingly do business with this law office again. read more

My experience with Udeshi Law Firm has been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. If there was a way I could leave a negative rating, they would get it. They are very unprofessional when it comes to treating their clients with the proper respect and the proper care that is asked out of a law firm when representing their clients. They do not care to take the necessary steps that would have a client feel safe and secure. If you are in any type of legal trouble in the state of Texas I WOULD NOT advise you to seek help from ANYONE from this law firm, STOP right now and seek help from another firm IMMEDIATELY!!! For me specifically, I was assigned an attorney under their law firm and in the middle of my case they had failed to notify me that I had actually been appointed a new attorney BECAUSE the attorney who was originally on my case was no longer employed through them. Can you imagine how I felt being told this IN THE MIDDLE OF MY CASE??? That is like a football team being told they will start the game with one coach and then at halftime another coach shows up to finish the game without any kind of heads up. I am the one who had to reach out to them to even get a full understanding as to why I was assigned another attorney seeing how I never requested a change to begin with. When asking them about the change EVERYONE was rude and short tempered with me. Nobody could give me a direct answer as to why there was a change, and when I asked for my refund in full they essentially hung up the phone on me multiple times to avoid having to explain why I could not qualify to get my money back, I was even threatened to have the police called on me because they felt i was harassing them!!! This law firm does not and will not care to stand by your side as a client, the only thing they were concerned about was making sure they were paid!!! Will a man rob God? This one just might. He and his staff robs anybody people. They string you along making you think that there is a definite victory on the other side. Then years later, you still won't see results. After trying to persuade you to settle for what they want, you'll be robbed blind. The communication is slack. You will talk to different people every time you call or every email. These people have no knowledge on your case so you end up explaining just who you are and what you need multiple times. Also, please don't have a name that's hard to pronounce. Even years down the line, I was called by the wrong name after correcting them.
