I had never even tried a Korean hot dog before this place opened on my block, and now I'm fully hooked. What started as just hot dogs has grown into a whole menu--bubble tea, ramen, rice cakes, desserts, all of it. I love that they're always adding new stuff, so there's usually something different to try. Only downside is the ordering system. You order at a kiosk and your number just flashes on the screen--no receipt or anything--so you kind of have to remember it. When it's crowded and food takes a bit (since everything's made fresh), it can get a little annoying. That said, definitely get the spicy rice cake bowl. Came to this ugly donut because I saw it had more items on the menu than the ones I've seen in queens. I came here specifically for dessert so I do want to go back and try their savory bowls in the future. Starting off, we were a little disappointed because I came here specifically to try the tarts that they had in their menu online only to see that it was no longer in the menu. We ended up getting a Strawberry cream donut which was nice and fluffy but I thought was just a little too greasy. Then for our favorite part of this trip, we also got the blueberry ugnut which was great and the Oreo cream was also delicious. The drink I tried was the Sunset Peachade which I did not like at all. The drink was too sweet and there was no place to adjust the sugar level and the flavor didn't taste of peach or dragonfruit so it was very disappointing. The store was a lot bigger than the ones in queens as well, a lot more seating and spacious. The service was quick, we ordered from the kiosk and just stood in line to pay in cash (but you can pay with card at the kiosk if you'd like). read more

I ordered the Guac dog, Original dog with potato, Oreo and cream donut and a beef bulgogi bowl. I was a little intimated by the Guac dog especially with how it looked when I arrived home but surprisingly it had the delicious Guac flavors you'd expect with added bacon, yum! Everything was fresh and delicious. The Oreo and cream was messy and chocolatey just how I love it. So if you're into chocolate the way I am, definitely buy it. I do think that for about $15 the size of the beef bulgogi bowl could've been slightly bigger. Otherwise the taste was amazing. I highly recommend their delicious dogs and donuts. read more

This is a modern, clean shop on a busy commercial street in Bushwick. They have lots of seating, including a large high top table in the back with bar stool seats and several tables in the front. There are two digital kiosks for placing your order and they call your number when your food is ready. You can customize each doughnut with either regular sugar, cinnamon sugar, or plain. You can also add their fresh homemade cream to your order, which comes in various flavors. All the food is made to order so service is very, very slow, but it's nice to know everything is fresh. I ordered three doughnuts and it took about 25 minutes for my food to come out. The strawberry cream cheese filled doughnut was a delightful mix of subtle tartness and sweetness. The dough was perfectly crispy and was balanced well by the smooth cream cheese. I also enjoyed the Oreo cheesecake doughnut. They offer Korean corndogs or "ugdogs," twisted donuts which originated from Korea's famous dessert called kkwabaegi or "ugnuts," filled donuts, specialty drinks, and more! I went with a Mozza Dog, which only cost $5.99 and is filled with only mozzarella cheese (vegetarian friendly), covered in panko crumbs and topped with sweet chili sauce, cheese sauce, and ketchup. I originally was going to get a red bean and cream cheese donut but since they were out, I went with a Baked Milk Cream donut instead. I got it to go, but I loved the hip decor with LED lights, a green wall, and fun music inside. I like how open the floor plan was too, so didn't feel squished in. I'd called ahead about bringing a dog I'm watching in and the cashier said they have dogs in all the time. So dogs are welcome! As a self-proclaimed Korean corn dog connoisseur, this corn dog didn't let me down. It was crunchy, filled with cheese, and delicious. It was a tad smaller than Oh-K Dog's and cost $1.50 extra to get it potato crusted, but all in all, I very much enjoyed it. They offer a variety of unique dogs too, including the "Classic American Ugdog," "La Mexicana," "The Guac," "Premium Pizza Ugdog," "Cheese steak ugdog," a kids ugdog, and other classic flavors. The blueberry has fresh pieces of berry in it, and the nutella stuffed is perfectly proportioned. That same airy chewiness is present in the corn dog batter as well, which I loved. Very friendly staff and spacious restaurant! The self order kiosk is cool and like a 'phew' moment for an introvert. Ordered a blueberry ugnut with the traditional sweet soy icing. I prepared myself mentally for a greasy fried dough situation, but the ugnut is greasier than I anticipated. I don't think I'd order their ugnut again, but can be convinced to try the dogs. I'm generally pretty sensitive to grease, so I guess this is not the type of food that sits well with me, but if you're into doughnuts and don't mind the grease, it is absolutely delicious.
