Now Tipsy Dog BEWARE!!!! Horrible ! I ordered bbq wings well done and they were barely cooked and soggy not to mention I received buffalo wings instead, I also ordered a drink painkiller and it had literally no liquor, I confronted the bartender and he said he made it himself I don't know if I was Hispanic but the bartender ( male ) clearly had an issue with me and my family we went with. They attended to people who came after us with the same order

Chicken pesto burger and butchers burger with fries

My bf and I love burgers. I saw this place wa a opening up when I was at kcbc across the street so when they finally did we decided to come. It was super cold the night we came and there was one table open but a couple was making out hard core at the one next to it and well, we didn't want to intrude on them. Luckily a table at the high top just paid so we waited. The menu was short but really why do you need to complicate things at a burger place. My bf got the butchers burger while I got the chicken pesto burger; we both got fries as well. Honestly it was a very delicious burger. I was expecting a piece of grilled chicken but it was ground chicken and very flavorful. The butchers burger my bf devoured. He loves the idea of pastrami on the burger. All around everythung was good just maybe a tad salty, but that's easily fixed.

The Butcher's Burger in particular is tasty divinity pattied up with the best cut of pastrami I've ever had the pleasure of choking between my two hands. You want a great burger come here. Pairs nicely with the mezcal negroni. The drink was perfectly balanced between bitter and sweet with the right amount of orange slices. Almost consumed it one gulp as it was refreshing. Definitely worth the try

This place is ok. I was excited to try it but the burger had wayyy too much mustard on it. I ordered "The Bushwick" and not only was it too rare but very salty and the mustard overpowered everything. It was basically a mustard sandwich. The fries were decent.

Amazing place! The staff is amazing and the frozen margaritas are to die for!! A cute place in Bushwick with outdoor dining available. The bartenders are so much fun and the location is super cute.

Frozen Mango Marg + Buffalo Wings for $15. Average NYC pricing.

Now known as "Tipsy Dog's Bar", I have come here twice & the music, the atmosphere, the drink options & the food are fantastic! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to feel like they're at a Friday night bar with good music & food pre-COVID 19.

    Pastrami burger. Absolutely delightful.

I believe it's been there for 56 years. The side I walked in you had a huge counter with the menus above. I'm not sure what they are famous for but burgers, roast beef, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and more. I had the cheeseburger and fries which are baked like chips. Awesome touch. The orangede was delicious too. We also got a free pizza with our order, which I believe was from spending a certain amount. Seating is right behind the counters and they had tables and old school booths for the tables. Great spot and I can see why they've been around for so long.

Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Considering the height of the table, they were the perfect height. I like the music that was being played. The music wasn't too loud or too low. I was able to make conversation without the music being overwhelming. Service 10/10 This joint has a self-order/self-checkout option, which makes it easier. They also have a restroom. Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

The service is impeccable, the wait staff is well versed in the menu and will offer help if you don't know how to truly get the best sandwich that you can. The star here is the roast beef sandwich, it's moist and flavorful and cooked absolutely perfectly. My suggestion is to order it with cheese and have it dunked in the au jus. I prefer what they call a "knife and fork job" where the sandwich, the meat the bread is all dunked and comes out in a river of au jus. They make amazing sides, I typically go for the onion rings and corn fritters which are tasty, fried nugget of sweet corn and they are delicious. Curious about the "famous" Brooklyn roast beef war -- yeah! it's a thing! -- T and I decided to see for ourselves. (Once I try the competition I'll weigh in with my vote.) With a reputation built on beef we ignored other options and researched how to order. You can get double dip, "dingle-dangle" (don't ask), cheese/no cheese ... it was confusing. We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. You'll likely have to wait a bit -- but I found it interesting to watch the guys at the counter work. Service was friendly and attentive. Unlike someone's comment about paying blind -- not so. We were given a check with an accurate breakdown of what we ordered. Prices are posted. And yes -- cash only.

Luckily, I was by myself, which gave me some wiggle room to grab a seat at the bar. The seating was quite tight, and I was sandwiched between two other people; however, I knew I was lucky just to get a seat. Once I sat down, I was quickly served water. I already knew I wanted the double cheeseburger with bacon and egg, so it didn't take me long to place my order. I definitely enjoyed sitting at the bar because the restaurant has an open-kitchen concept. You can watch the chefs prepare the food, which is always enjoyable for me. The burger itself was definitely an experience! It was beautifully presented, and everything was cooked to perfection. Honorable mention goes to the pepper on the thick-cut bacon- it added a nice savory kick to the burger. I had really been looking forward to trying it because I recently passed by Au Cheval in Chicago, but the wait was extremely long, so I didn't get the chance to go. This burger was definitely good. It's not at the top of my list, but it was worth the experience. I must say, it's also extremely high-end price-wise. For just the burger with bacon and egg, plus tax and tip, I paid about $47. Again, it was a treat, but not necessarily one I'd order again. I'd love to try some of the city's other standout burgers before returning for this one. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Would I return? Sure, but I would probably try something other than the burger next time.
