These restaurants are popping up all over the place, and I'm not mad lol. I came here for my boyfriend's sons bday dinner because he said he wanted burgers and milkshakes. I needed something that wouldn't break the bank, so i tried here. But, i still broke the bank. All in all, this location was pretty small. 4 tables in all, but the tables were set with chairs for 4. The tvs were all working and they had all the old school games so the boys could play and distract them from asking questions lol. The service was great. They were very helpful. The food was cooked to order which is always a good thing. I ordered a smash burger, with loaded fries, 4 piece wings with bbq sauce, a chicken sandwich with fries, 2 lemonades. 1 cherry and one regular, and lastly, a fruity pebbles milkshake. I had about the flying Dutchman burger and googled where I can one and luckily 8 bit makes it. The first one i ordered via Uber eats. It did not disappoint..it was so yummy juicy and healthy. The onion bun isn't spicy at all. It is soft and sweet. I ordered it with unseasoned fries. Their fries are cool too. The second one I second to stop by after grocery shopping. I ordered it to go. Lol no delivery fees. Their food is really good and fresh. No one stays to play for the games anymore. There is less sitting spaces because the outdoor seating is no longer. I. LOVE. THIS. CONCEPT. According to my friends, this location is one of the smaller ones, but burgers, milkshakes, and games?! Sheesh. When you step into this place, the floor is lit up in a bunch of colors that kinda look like pixels... or a really colorful version of the floors from the Billie Jean music video. To the right is a register, and two touch screens for placing orders. To the left are three tables that can seat four people. But that's not all -- each of those tables have four controllers and access to 100s of retro games from SNES, Sega Genesis, and more! I decided to get the classic burger with tater tots. I wanted a milkshake bad, but I fought the urge. They got some funky ones too, and they're mostly inspired by the cereals of my youth. My friends and I started playing a game -- speaking of MJ, we beat Moonwalker while we were there! My burger and tots came out fairly quickly, as did my friend's ice cream. My burger was solid, and I thought the tots were good, but just a tad dry. I didn't wanna get ketchup because I didn't want things to get too messy and I kept alternating between eating and playing. Speaking of, for sanitation purposes, it would've been really nice to have hand sanitizer or wipes at each table -- I can't imagine how many folks have played those games, and I don't know how often they clean the controllers themselves, if at all. I've been to this restaurant for pickup and it's a great concept. What better way to bring out your inner child than to eat food and play video games? I mean of course as an adult this still happens but not nearly as often as we'd like so I love this idea. I decided to do an Ubereats order today. It was packaged nicely and arrived on time and was still hot. 8-Bit Bite has that delicious and greasy food we've all loved growing up. The smash burgers with special sauce is very good. I added a combo with cheesy tots and they gave the most cheese I've ever seen anyone give. My tots were drowning in cheese. So for all the cheese lovers, just know they don't skimp out. I also just had to try this breakfast sandwich because it sounds so good but I didn't like it much. It was a chicken sandwich with egg/cheese and maple syrup. I get what they were trying to execute but that one just had so many components of flavors happening at once and left a lot of questions, so that's a 2/5 stars. Decided to come back here for a 2nd time after a long time since this is the first ever location of this franchise I went to earlier this year. I had no issues with the food, the weak spot at the time for me was the shakes which have since redeemed themselves in other locations but I wanted to run it back just to see if that badly made shake was just a fluke. I went for the cookie mountain shake which has become a favorite of mine and it was absolutely divine. Now I feel fully confident having shakes here whenever I stopped by. Brilliant concept, decently executed (at least at this branch). 8-bit bites features quick, fast-food style food options paired with the ability to sit and play the vast majority of NES, Sega, or arcade games your 80s-90s (or perhaps even aughts?) memories can conjure--up to 4 player versions if the game allows. Conceptually a great idea, and perfect family spot. Came here with my girlfriend and her son (8). We had lots of fun playing some classic Mario and Zelda and street fighter while chowing down. I wasn't expecting gourmet, but the food was still a bit disappointing, and the menu options surprisingly small. Burger was meh and the spicy Nashville chicken sandwich not spicy at all (was (hopefully) chicken!). Tater tots were good though. Shakes were fine; uber-sweet, but that was to be expected. I was almost more disappointed by how small the menu was. Maybe there was a hot dog too, but that's essentially it. Just feels like a missed opportunity to not have more appetizers. If you could just get like some mozzarella or zucchini sticks, or some jalapeño poppers or wings... this place would be perfection. Service is good and friendly, and the decor is spot-on; floating Mario question boxes and the like--even when games weren't working, the kiddo was entertained just wandering around. They have a table time limit (30 min) if crowded, but it was not, so we were able to linger. Came here with my son because who doesn't want to play video games and eat burgers! And he was dead set on a fruity pebble milkshake (their thing is cereal milkshakes - which doesn't really work because the cereal just gets soggy and makes the drink a weird consistency). The food is good enough for what it is smash-burgers, chicken fingers and crispy potato wedges - but the video game systems are hard to navigate and the cheap controllers definitly lag. Also they often have birthday parties which take up 90% of the tables. I wanted to love but the experience was lackluster. Even from the kids POV who haven't asked to go back. read more

The customer service was awesome & helpful. They accept EBT but mine was declined for some reason I still haven't figured out yet. But make sure you check the website that tells you which EBT customers can use their card and where. So I didn't get any food but the place was a very fun ambiance. This is my second time at 8 bit but my first time in this location. I did delivery with Uber eats. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, tator tots, churros, and fries. The burgers were cold but they were decent. Nothing special. The Nashville chicken sandwich was very good though. Very nasty and had a strong spicy kick to it. The fries were mediocre and lacked much potatoes. The tator tots were much superior. The tator tots had extra seasoning which tasted spicy and had some unique seasoning. Love this chain. Being able to play so many different nostalgic games (different ones from Sega, Genesis, Nintendo etc) or even ones that sound like a fun time are great. This particular location has outdoor seating where once you order the food they'll give you the controllers. They also have a kiosk you can order on too. Food wise just has burgers, chicken tenders that you can add sauce on or on the side, tater tots, cereal milkshakes - basically stuff that reminds you of a weekend or afterschool playing videos games with friends. We were bummed and had to opt for the outdoor dining shed, which slowly flooded. There was a lot of back and forth between the storefront and the shed, which just took away from the overall experience. We had to go back to the storefront to place our order, pick up the order, ask staff to troubleshoot the gaming system, then dispose of our trash. Get your steps in! Our food (smash burgers with fries and classic chicken 'wich) was good. Tip: Be prepared to leave your ID in exchange for the two-game controllers if you dine outdoors. The tater tots literally tasted like churros which I know because I ordered them too ohhhh and the French fries as well. Which lets me know they used the same fryer and same oil for everything. The churros tasted like nothing I literally had to add my own cinnamon sugar to them. The food has no consistency but even worse is the attitude from the staff constantly. everytime. My fiance and are met with rude comments from the employees given the run around by staff remembers (Logan more than likely), We literally are giving rude interactions everytime by staff. We've had discussions with us and them not giving us out points for our rewards programs before and the knew they that was going on. This isn't the first time we've explainederienced issues here with the staff trying to over ignore customer requests or purposely acting like they didn't know what was going on. Last night we were just disrespected by every member of staff from Logan who J believe is the manager to one of the owners who we were given the owner to who after we explained the situation to he said "I would've comped you meal for you but you're just a complete fucking asshole" No foul words were exchanged no insults.
