Out-of-the-way deli, only locals would find it. Subs are huge, fresh, and loaded with meats. Good value for the price. Take out only.

The place has Sunoco gasoline but if you're using the Adirondack Trailways system this place is the stop for you & also it has many other things besides that (Tim Horton's coffee, beer/wine, cigars, Krispy Krunchy chicken, deli meats etc) but least I'm one to mention this now if you didn't know beforehand. Oh before I forget place also does Greyhound as well-my bad.

Mike Deli is the sandwich shop in this Sunoco on NY-3 in Plattsburgh. Don't know what the deal is…read morebut for some inexplicable reason, my Greyhound bus from Montréal to NYC stopped here for 1 hour, without even meeting another bus for transferring passengers. It also didn't appear that close to anywhere else to go to get something to eat. Mike Deli's sad wraps started at $9.99 and other basic premade sandwiches were $11.99 and $13.99. Seriously! Rip off! Every thing was overpriced! Being Boar's Head meat given what was on those wraps and sandwiches doesn't justify the prices. (And clearly it ain't a Jersey Mike!) Fortunately, I had brought my own food, not expecting to be sitting at any dump like this for an extended period of time. Wish the bus just continued so I could get home earlier. Plattsburgh needs one of those world-class Wawas here, if the bus need a place to stop or for locals to see what a great gas station sandwich place is!

We ordered a large salad that came with bread and butter. Very soft fluffy Italian bread. The spaghetti with meat sauce ease was quite a lot of meat sauce. Very generous with meat and sausage meat. One of us ordered a side of meatballs and those were quite large. The chicken parmigiana was tender. And also smoke. Everything was reasonably priced and we all needed a doggy gag. Service was friendly and prompt. We will need to come back again.

I was excited to try this place with the reviews but was a little apprehensive when we pulled up - small strip mall that has seen better days but we were hungry and figured we would give it a shot. The interior is cute -- but small. Not many tables but thankfully we were on the early side for dinner so only one other table was occupied when we arrived. We quickly decided what we wanted to eat and placed our order. Our salads came out fast and they were very delicious. I am a sucker for black olives so was thrilled to see them on the salad. I noticed that the other table (a couple) were still waiting for their meal and it showed up a short time later. A few more tables were seated and we were still waiting for our meal. It became evident that there was one server and one cook. When our meal showed up, we were not disappointed. The sauce on my chicken parm was savory with just a hint of sweetness. And it had chunks of tomatoes in it - huge plus for this tomato loving gal! I don't know where they got this chicken breast but it was huge! It was very well seasoned and probably one of the best chicken parms I've ever had in my life! For dessert, my hubby decided to get the cannoli dip. I'm bummed that I cannot eat dairy cuz that dessert was massive! My husband barely put a dent in it and took the rest home for a snack later on that evening. We would definitely come back again if we are in the area!
