I stopped by Rove Cafe just after 1pm when the busy period was slowing down. I walk in and I could sit at anywhere I wanted to. I sat at a table near the counter and the server promptly arrived with a menu and took my drink order (ice water). I was trying to decide between the fish & chips, mixed berries French toast (a popular item) or the country fried steak with 2 eggs. I went with the latter and it was served to me in about 12 minutes. The big plate of food had soft scrambled eggs, grilled country potatoes, a buttery toasted English muffin (Smuckers jams at table), and a Large homemade lightly breaded & pounded thin grilled beefsteak smothered with a thick sausage gravy. This breakfast was so good and very filling. As I was finishing my food, the check was presented which was $14.58 with tax and before tip. Overall, a wonderful big breakfast plate and prompt service.
