Plus, they don't charge an hourly parking like Valley Fair and Santana Row in Santa Clara. They have a good selection of stores like Great Mall mixed with Valley Fair. I barely shop for clothes here, but the food selection is good. I recommend getting a soft serve taiyaki from iSee Cream, cute boba drinks from Ume Tea, and the original boba shop Quickly. Not much dine-in restaurants in here since it's three big American chains and one new ramen restaurant. I like there's a mini work from home office next to the restroom on the second floor. Their WiFi is free to use. Some areas are a bit empty. There's also a DMV service, but I don't think they offer full service like getting a license. Overall it's nice to walk around with lots of available parking. It's even conveniently located near the BART station.

They really should have built a big 6 story garage or something. But instead they block off a big section for valley parking and you pay $20. Uhhh no thanks. Also the food court is way too small for amount of shoppers. We ordered food and there was not one single table for us to sit down and eat. We ended up walking out and finding a bench further down. I like the layout of the palce though. It is one big oval/rectangle. So I like that I can walk and make a big loop around. Food court is in the middle. Some stores had lines, such has Nike and lululemon. I feel like for an outlet, I expected lower prices. It seemed to be higher than I would like. It was still fun to walk around and enjoy some sun. We did see a big pile of dog poop in the middle of the walk way. Ickkk.

Very square mall. I have been there since the grand opening nearly eight years ago. It's very…read moremodern, spacious, and clean. Not many retail stores, but more fancy eateries for the upper class. There's also an Equinox, which is a famous fancy gym. Everything is almost expensive as Santana Row. Some security guards are walking around on duty. The parking garage is a bit curved when you enter and exit. I only like the Christmas tree area, which is beautiful to look at in the evening, including the water fountain in the kids' area. It's nice to walk around and take profile pictures, but not much to do until the holiday season. Overall, this is great for families to hang out and for rich people to dine in.

It was also tough navigating through the crowds at times, especially because the toddlers in our group couldn't see anything over the crowds. That said, City Center Bishop Ranch truly offers something for everyone in the family. There's a splash pad that's perfect for little ones, plenty of restaurants at every price point for picky eaters, and even fun options for adults- like a DIY cocktail crawl for the 21+ crowd. We once made it our mission to try every margarita on property! I ran into my retired high school teacher, bartending at THE LOT (movie theater). On the shopping front, I do all my Anthropologie returns here, and I've been refreshing my inbox waiting for news about Rico Rico Taco opening here (I'm obsessed with their Oakland location). As for dining, I've enjoyed meals and treats from Slanted Door, Salt & Straw, Roam Artisan Burgers, Philz Coffee, Mendocino Farms, Marugame Udon, Delarosa, and Boba Guys. I still can't believe that sleepy San Ramon now has so many fantastic eateries and experiences all in one place. It's quickly become a go-to meeting place for our extended family.

I came to Blackhawk Plaza to go to the Blackhawk Museum…read more It was a Saturday afternoon, and although the Plaza was really nice, almost all the stores here were closed. It is very picturesque here, with the ducks swimming in the man made ponds, the waterfalls and the fountains. But with most places being closed, and the place being pretty much empty, other than the Blackhawk Museum which was excellent, it really took a lot away from this place. You could tell this was a very happening place when all was well, especially in this area of Danville!!
