Came here to look for a specific brand (Glossier) but turns out that they do not carry it. However I spoke to an employee and she gave recommendations to what the best sellers are when it comes to brow maintenance. Walked out with the Anastasia brand and trying out the brow wiz. I'm kind of excited to try this brand and see what the results are. Similar to Sephora layout. I recently moved to this area and wanted to get a quick haircut and color before starting my new job. The prices are really reasonable at the salon compared to other places. There was plenty of space between you and other guests at the salon which was really nice! The lady cutting my hair, Allison, was extremely warm and friendly! When I started to get nervous about the color, she reassured me and helped me pick out the best toner. I am so happy with my hair and thankful to find a new stylist! The team at the store seemed to really work together with helping customers find products. This Ulta is truly one of the better ones I've been to, even out of state stores. It's generally pretty clean and well stocked. The sales team is 98% of the time really friendly and helpful. Generally they will always go out of their way to help you find a product, help with the appropriate shade and also lend a hand to inexperienced staff with checkout problems. My ONLY suggestion is they should clean all the grime and fallen products by their front window. read more

I have never in my life been so disrespected. The managers need to check the cameras. I checked out at 1:30 pm on 8/3/23. Anna the "lead cashier" threw my bag at me!!!! The girl in front of me endured a brutal speech about the credit card. Despite saying no, Anna kept pushing and telling her "she could never have too many credit cards" it was absolutely insane to witness. I was running late for the airport so I told Anna I was not interested whatsoever in the credit card. She was obviously offended by this statement for some reason. Extremely rude staff. My first and my last time going to this place. We didn't have a mask and every other place I've been provided them and a lot of places are okay if you go in and you are quick but when they asked if we had one with us they were pretty rude and i said no and asked if they had one and they immediately got pushy to get us away and out the door multiple other staff walked up and it was very unwelcoming. I had been told to go there for some shampoo and conditioner from the hair place I go to. This was the most unwelcoming feeling I've had during these hard times. I was being respectful and was fully willing to put one on I just didn't realize they didn't have any to provide which was my mistake. SHORT AND BRATS DONT COME HERE. I had come in to buy something for my sister and my mom was out in the car. I had went to use her number to use her points with HER permission and one worker turns to me NOT even the one ringing me up and says you cant do that. And I say I can show ID she's out in the car and they say nope you can't do it. She was very short and rude and my mom is livid right now. She had surgery and couldn't come in!!! She called them and all they said was sorry but we can't do anything. We can do a return but you'd have to be in here. We will not be back. I have been here a few times now. I'm not super into makeup, but am learning, and Ulta wasn't as intimidating as I was expecting. The gals don't hover or constantly bug you, so I feel comfortable browsing at my own pace. But when I do need a recommendation or opinion I can find help quite quickly. Just because these ladies work at Ulta I don't assume they are professional makeup artists or know much more than I do, but I have appreciated their knowledge on the brands they carry and ability to recommend products to fit the "look" I'm going for in my price point. Check-out always goes quickly and easily. The only thing I'm sad about is their lack of a robust Zoya nail polish selection. I recently discovered the chemical-free brand and *love* it and wish they had more colors in store. read more

Went to Ulta for a curbside pickup to only sit in my car for 30 min-i eventually went inside and stood in front of the pick up order kiosk to be ignored by the staff with no acknowledgment. You could tell other customers were upset and it was not a great customer experience atmosphere. All i'm saying is if you need any assistance, go to a different location. read more

He had the email with the order receipt and a copy of of my picture ID. However since his name wasn't listed as one of the people to pick it up they made him buy the products that I had already purchased and on top of everything they wouldn't honor the coupon I had used to buy the stuff online. They make sure I know they're there if I need anything but they aren't pushing for a sale. The manager accused me of stealing. I made a purchase on 10/3/19, and returned an item a short while later. Tried to return another BROKEN item from the same receipt yesterday 11/15/19, with the original sales receipt, still in the original packaging. After three clerks, I learned that the clerk had already marked that item as returned, from the previous date. It was their error, and they refused to correct it, saying they couldn't over ride the system, even though it was their EMPLOYEE'S mistake. So I'm struck with a BROKEN item, which they DENIED a return, due to their employee incompetence. The manager implied that I already returned the item, then somehow got out of the store with it, and was trying to return it a second time. An Ulta employee somehow "returned" an item in October, that I hadn't taken back to the store until November, and then the manager accuses me of trying to return the same item twice. So I brought my daughter here for prom to get her makeup done. Not only was the girl inexperienced but my daughter was her very 1st client according to Mngr. Contouring horrible, foundation base did not blend, when it came to eyeliner she asked the hairdresser, "do you know how to do eyeliner"? Nevertheless she did not finish. We payed and went home. My daughter did her own makeup and the week after it still did not sit well with me that I payed for a service we did not receive. I called corporate they referenced me back to the store. The store said they would not be able to refund me, I asked if I could just get store credit so I could at least purchase makeup but still they said no unfortunately because I didn't rant and rave the day of, there's nothing they can do. I highly recommend you drive the 30 min to a mall and go to mac this place is an absolute joke for makeup. Also at mac all you have to do is spend $50 and they do your makeup for free. I had my hair cut and dyed by Jewels tonight and had an amazing experience. She listened to me and my vague description of what I wanted and asked me lots of questions. She listened and gave me options to fix what I was unhappy with from my previous dye jobs. She didn't push me towards something I didn't want which I really appreciated. She explained everything she was doing and even went back and touched up areas she wasn't happy with as she went. I have not had a stylist take a much care in a long time. In the end I walked out with my hair looking and feeling the best it has in years. I love that she didn't try to upsell me on expensive shampoos and products. Best of all she's got a great personality and doesn't make you feel like she's trying to make strained small talk or leave you in awkward silence. I will be back in the future. read more

I wanted to like this store. It was really disappointing to go there today shopping for a neutral/shimmer eyeshadow palette for a gift. I asked a sales associate to guide me in the right direction and she only pointed me to one palette. After I said it was a little more than I could spend and asked for something in the $40 price range, she stopped helping me and went back to working on her display. So the second girl I asked showed me another palette and it was once again more money and very vibrant colors. So I continued to shop on my own and found exactly what I was looking for, a buxom palette for $40, but it took a long time. Then after standing in line for 20 minutes (only one cashier) a second cashier came up and at check out I was told my coupon only works on the lower end items, less than half the store. So I re-read the fine print and sure enough, it said all prestige products. I feel like that's a vague description for more than half the store. So I'd hoped she'd give me the discount anyway this one time, but no. Poor customer service all the way around. I know makeup really well, so I was able to navigate the store, but for someone else, I feel they would've left disappointed and empty handed after the second associate failed to suggest an item that would meet the needs. Also, the samples are gross, like everyone has touched them and shmeared them into each other, so it's hard to really see what the product really is without opening a new one, something they obviously do not want you to do since they seal them shut with those magnetic stickers. And half the samples are missing. Like everywhere. When I asked the second associate for the sample palette of one that I had found that wasn't sold out, she just said she didn't know exactly where it was, that it was probably being used in the back by a makeup person applying it on someone. It would have been lovely of her to try and find it, but she didn't even want to try. read more
