I had my hair cut done by Angie and she did an awful job, I mean awful I had 11 inches taken off at first it looked good and i did not notice seeing as my hair is naturally curly then following day when i straightened my hair it was COMPLETELY UNEVEN! Was recently in to visit this store bc I received the flyer in the mail advertsing their grand re-opening. They were advertisting weekend only specials, offering a selection of products for a super-low price. I was disapointed that as I was shopping on the very first day of that sale, they had already sold out of several of those products. I just dont understand why they did not plan accordingly and order a sufficent supply? Frustrating. Supposedly they "remodeled" to allow for a more efficicent flow and overall shopping experience. Well, they need to improve the check-out process. The whole THING, starting with the check-out line. There is nowhere that is marked "line begins here" or anything like that. I observed people coming in with returns or exchanges and they are all confused about where to go and if they are to just stand in line with the general population making purchases. Then you have people who stand in front of the registers (because there are still product shelves right there displaying items) and are not in line at all. Then you have other people who approach the line from the right side aisle instead of from the front of the registers as you should and it just creates awkwardness for the others in line already. I think you get my point that the entire check-out process needs to be "remodeled." Also just observing the staff, I did not receive the welcoming feel that they probably should be giving during their "grand opening" weekend. Nobody asked me if I needed help finding anything or if there was anything they could help me out with. I observed most of them were immersed in their own conversations or too busy taking a selfie of the lip-gloss they just applied to focus on their work and providing assistance to the customer. Not good customer service or professionalism. And also, I am not one to judge, but it seemed that it must be a requirement at this location that every girl that works there have facial piercings or tattoos all over. They all looked the same! Caked-on, overdone makeup and tatted-up. I dont know what happened to going to work looking presentable? It just made me feel out of place and that I did not fit in to their little "group." I felt like I had walked into a tattoo parlor, not a beauty store/salon. I walked out frustrated and upset with my entire shopping experience. I shop at Ulta all the time. It's my go to store! but this location let me tell you, customer service was horrible! Typically this isn't the store I go to regularly because I live no where near the area but on this particular day I was. Usually when you walk in you're welcomed by the ladies but not when I was there. As i walk around looking at the make-up, not one person came up to me to ask if I needed help with anything..common courtesy from Ulta. I literally made eye contact with one of the older ladies working and she just looked away. WTF? I guess everyone there is too good to help anyone out. I had asked one of the young girls there (didn't catch her name, which I should have) had a stank a** attitude. I was looking for a particular lip color from TooFaced and when I asked her if those were the only colors available she says " whatever is up there, is what we have" and I'm like "okay, can you just double check" and she gave me the same excuse. Are you kidding me? I was beyond irritated, I'm just like forget it, I'm leaving. If you hate your job or just having a bad day don't make your customer feel the tension. I went in to buy some foundation and few other things. There was not one single person that was friendly or truly helpful. In fact they had a terrible attitude and were very rude. I asked for their ad and the girl was so rude about it. I've been here twice and not once did I feel welcomed. The brush sections was a disaster I couldn't find what i was looking for. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Ulta, just not this one. No staff is ever around to help you and when you don find someone and ask them a question they point to the item instead of walking me over and potentially up selling me. I will be going to Sephora in this neighborhood simply because I love the feeling of walking out of a store like this inspired to try new looks and knowing I bought items that I will fall in love with. I went in about 2 weeks ago and got my hair done by a stylist who has been doing hair for 10+ years, I was very pleased with the results when I walked out of the salon. I was going from very washed out reddish/brown hair to a dark to light balayage, and she made it look great! The only complaint is that when I went to straighten my hair I noticed the back looked like she had just chopped part of my layers off and didn't even bother to touch them. I called yesterday and spoke to the manager, which then she told me that they couldn't do anything because it had been longer than 10 days since my hair appointment (I was never told anything about that policy but thought that since she had messed it up, pretty badly, that they should fix it). Christina, the manager that I was speaking to, was able to fit me in the next day and fix my hair to look perfect! She was very sweet and I trusted her to fix what the previous stylist had messed up. I enjoy coming to this location and so far I have had a great experience with the salon staff! I will definitely be trusting my hair with Christina, now that she was able to fix the mistake that someone else made and make it look great! read more

So my review is for the benefit brow bar and for Rochelle Wow, I could swear by her and her talent! I remember the first time I sat down to get my brows done, I was crazy nervous, it was ridiculous! However, after she was done I was in love! This girl knows what she's doing to the point that my hair colorist (shampoo ink Heidi) even said "Who does your brows they are amazing!" I actually get compliments on my eyebrows how crazy is that? She knows exactly what she is doing and she has talent, she easily could be doing brows in some high price salon (and I'd follow her). I look forward to my eyebrow appointments because of how great they look and how amazing she is to talk to! I will absolutely not let anyone else touch my eyebrows! If you go in and you let her just do your brows she knows what arch and what size and so forth your brows should be to fit your bone structure and face. She's fantastic and I will always use her, she's the girl who can do your eyebrows and you think hey lets get a beer, she's that friendly! As far as the rest of the girls in Ulta, I have only have positive experiences with them. They have never been rude or obnoxious and they all are professional and willing to help! read more

This Ulta is hands-down terrible. Customer service is non-existent compared to other stores like Target. Don't plan on using a coupon (the fine print rules out just about everything you'd want to buy with it) or doing and exchange or return (better have a receipt and abide by their super strict return policies!). After too many bad experiences here I'll now be using their testers to find my makeup colors then buying them on Amazon! read more

The Ulta at Goodyear has what I need, but the people there are not friendly AT ALL. I went in there to look for something for Mother's Day, but the two girls were too busy talking about some problem that one of the girls was having, personal. The staff there is unfriendly. They are not helpful at all. I asked one of the girls if the shampoo I was buying was color friendly. She didn't even look at the shampoo I was showing her and she said yes, it's friendly. I took the shampoo to my stylist and she told me not to use it because it would strip my hair. No one cares at this store. They seem like they aren't happy being there. Two stars was generous. I would actually give them no stars. The staff sucks. They need to be more personable and helpful. I have gone in there five times. Each time the staff seems like they don't give a crap about you and they don't enjoy their jobs. Don't go there. They suck. read more

As walking in, I was greeted by the manager with a smile. I haven't been in here in so long the everything looks way better. I was looking for a new shampoo/makeup products and started walking around the store. Eventually, I got helped by a guy named Miguel who was helpful & knowledgeable. He referred me to Stephanie that made me fall in love with the new Urban Foundation. Both were so funny & awesome :) I might even come to the Bare Minerals & the Urban Decay event. Looking around it did look clean, and well managed, which is already a plus. The cashier girl even asked if I found everything okay instead of just telling me the total. The staff here is amazing, and I don't know why the rates are down. People are sensitive when they don't find what they look for I swear. It's a makeup store, things sell out people so chill. Definitely call Friday mornings because that's when they get things in. Favorite ULTA so far ! read more
