The staff at this location are always helpful and friendly. My only concern was the women's restroom. The toilet seat is falling off. Storage is limited. Considering the amount of females that work there and customers, this is an easy fix for Ulta to take care of, not by management but the company. had a very disappointing experience at this Ulta location. I was trying to make a return but no longer had the original credit card because it had been replaced with a new one. Instead of explaining all of my available options or helping me find a solution, the manager, KALEY ,only offered store credit and seemed uninterested in assisting further. I was actually the one who suggested an alternative solution based on my own retail experience. I felt that customer service should have been more proactive and helpful. During my visit, several employees appeared distracted and more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers. I also asked about a specific perfume, and the employee assisting me didn't seem familiar with the product I was asking about. Overall, the store felt disorganized, and the staff did not appear knowledgeable or engaged. Unfortunately, the experience came across as unprofessional and left me frustrated. If I could give a rating lower than one star, I would. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. Came in on 02/22/25 around 4pm. My daughter and I were wanting some things so we came to make our wishes come true lol Parking lot of course was crazy. It's a Saturday afternoon with so many people. LBX does have a lot of great stores and restaurants to visit so can't be mad. We killed over an hour in the store just looking at everything. After we filled our bag, we got in line, which seemed like a long one. Strange that the line was so long because there were so many people I saw working. We got closer and saw the reason - ONE CASHIER. On a Saturday afternoon?! Come on manager, do better at assigning/scheduling people. There were at least five people on the floor walking around looking to help people. One more cashier could've made a big difference on the wait. A lot of customers in line were getting impatient. I will never be shopping at this Ulta location again due to the unprofessional and humiliating treatment I received on 03/04/2026 from the manager, Yasmin, and another employee who refused to identify herself. Earlier that day, I had purchased two hair products. When I arrived home, I realized I had accidentally purchased two shampoos instead of one shampoo and one conditioner. That same evening, at approximately 6:53-6:55 PM, I returned to the store with the intention of exchanging the item. While in the store, I mistakenly went to the back shelf, grabbed the conditioner, and placed the extra shampoo down before heading to the register. When I reached the register, I realized what I had done and immediately explained the situation to the cashier, who had purple/green hair. She told me she would need to get the manager to verify the situation, which I completely understood as someone who has worked in customer service myself. When the manager, Yasmin, came to the register, she asked what time I entered the store. At 7:01 PM she left the conversation to review the security cameras and returned around 7:10 PM. She stated, "I saw you pick it up, but I never saw you put anything down." She then proceeded to assist other customers instead of finishing the conversation. When I asked her to clarify what she meant, she dismissively responded, "Well, I have other customers and as a manager I have to help them." I understand that managers must assist multiple customers, but the tone and approach she used were extremely disrespectful. Her facial expressions and smirk clearly communicated disbelief and disgust, as if she assumed I was lying. For context, I had already spent $170 earlier that day and even purchased another $45 item while waiting for this issue to be resolved. Money was never the issue. The issue was the public accusation and the way I was treated in front of other customers. When I asked her directly, "Did you see me walk in with it?" she replied no. She then loudly stated in front of the entire line of customers, "I have to verify you aren't stealing." Being accused of stealing in front of a store full of people was humiliating and completely unnecessary. As an Indigenous person, experiences like this are especially painful because racial bias has historically caused Indigenous people to be treated with suspicion or made to feel unwelcome in public spaces. The accusation was deeply upsetting. After realizing how inappropriate her statement sounded, Yasmin attempted to backtrack by saying, "Well, I never said you were stealing... I just had to make sure," while smirking. This completely contradicted her earlier tone and statement. In the beginning of the interaction she spoke softly and professionally, but once she began making accusations, her voice became loud and her facial expressions clearly communicated that she did not believe me over a simple mistake. I like this ultra, it's my local one. However, there are a couple of customer service issues that need to be addressed. Every time I go in there they either have a line and one cashier or like today a line and no cashier. There was a girl, Annie at the register but she seemed to be helping a customer on the phone, nothing wrong with that but I tried to make eye contact with her to get her to get help she purposely looked the other way. Cashiers need to work on acknowledging the customers, maybe not even verbally since she was on the phone but just holding a finger up, something to acknowledge she sees me. This left me wondering how long I would have to wait. I did not wait long but it just seemed rude for her to ignore me like that. This is the worst Hairdresser and haircut of all times. I've been there three times and the last hairdresser this wanted to charge me $10 extra for air-conditioning $21 extra to use a round brush the two other hairdressers I had before were great, one of them he's name is Alex, he was great. He gave me a really good haircut and blow dry my hair. This lady who refused to give me her name ( I'm sure Ulta would know who she is) use a flat brush left my hair all wet and I have never been to a place or got a haircut, but they don't style your hair or blow dryer it with the round brush. She said if I do it with the round brush, I'm gonna style it. No, you're not gonna style it you're just gonna combed right! I didn't even leave a tip in the manager was just as bad as her. I've been to this location a handful of times but recently the customer service hasn't been the best. For example today I asked the lady at the register (there was nobody else on floor besides her & the ladies doing hair treatments) where I can find a specific safety razor and she responded near the nail polish area, I proceeded to look near the nail area but I couldn't find it still. There was a big group of Ulta employees that came out from the back so I asked someone and even showed a picture of the item and she just pointed and said there. I'm sorry but every time I come here the experience is similar. The wait time is ridiculous to get to a register whether it's for a return or purchase or a simple in store pickup. I am not sure if they need to hire more employees or what the issue is but I've visited during the week and weekend and it's no different. The in store pickup (which should be quick) will have no one there or no one notice you for 10-15min before someone finally comes after having to find and ask an employee. I'm giving 2 star because sometimes there will be a good employee who is apologetic about the wait time but other times employees will say nothing about wait time. I will stick to ordering online and hopefully not need to go in store. read more

Ok, so I don't leave reviews often, but a day ago I went to Ulta to get my hair and makeup done for prom--which I was nervous about due to a single bad past experience. But it was the most affordable option, so I went anyway. When I tell you I was literally blown away by the results!!! I got both my hair and makeup done by a girl named Adrien--she was the best! She did an amazing job, and I felt pretty, which isn't something I often do. If I ever go again, I'm definitely going with her! It was very busy and it appeared to be under staffed today. My cashier was incredibly kind. I believe her name is Courten, possibly? She had short blonde hair above the shoulders. I forgot to check her name tag but my receipt has the name Courten on it. I was looking for something that appeared to be out of stock and I let her know. I want to begin by saying Gabby at ULTA Beauty store #1455 is a rock star! She has been amazing! However, ULTA customer service 866 983-8582 has been horribly disappointing to say the least. I was in the ULTA Beauty store 1455 Thursday, February 6, 2025. While in store trying to pay for my merchandise, I provided the employee my ULTA Beauty gift card to pay and she advised me to peel off the sticker on the back of the ULTA gift card, and in doing so two of the numbers peeled off and, we were unable to see 2 numbers of the promo code. As a result the ULTA attendant was not able to put in the promo code to complete the transaction. While in the store the Manager of ULTA store 1455, Gabby called ULTA Beauty customer Service several times and kept getting hung up on, we finally spoke with customer service and we were on the phone for almost 45 minutes, (in store) with the manager. ULTA Store #1455. This card was a gift card, purchased by a colleague from an outside vender, which manager Gabby was able to confirm a $75.00 balance. Both the manager of the ULTA in Long Beach Gabby and I were on the phone with customer services, (the number provided on the back of the gift card), while I was in the store on the phone with ULTA Customer Services for an hour. I have continued to call and email the ULTA customer service 866 983-8582 multiple times and have yet to receive any resolution. I have since provided them a copy of the gift card front and back, a copy of the gift receipt with activation status receipt with authorization number and balance, the customer service person insisted they could not help me unless I had the original receipt (from December 2024) again I reinforced this was a gift from a colleague. My colleague was finally able to go to the store in person and get a copy of the original receipt, which I have since provided to customer service, they have since advised me the still have not received a response from their management team... Mind you this all occurred February 6, 2025, its March 14, 2025 and I still have not received any resolution. I feel like I have gone above and beyond to assist them in what they call an "investigation." I forgot to mention this purchase was originally indented to assist my daughter in purchasing products for her wedding, which was over two weeks ago... According there should have been a timely and reasonable resolution resulting in receiving a replacement gift card. I would imagine $75.00 is a drop in the bucket for ULTA. The entire process in dealing with ULTA customer service has been shameful, they have been condescending, passive aggressive and at times embarrassing, their initial customer service personal Manuel accused me of receiving the gift card by inauthentic ways, he basically accused me of stealing the card... So I went to a ball on Saturday night with my hubby and decided to get my makeup done at Ulta. First thing that went wrong is that I received the wrong info when I called. I was told there wasn't a fee for makeup with a certain amount of purchases. Totally false information. Had to pay $70 for makeup and eyelashes. The 2nd thing that went wrong is that the artist used the wrong foundation for my already oily skin. I looked like I was sweating. And the third thing that went wrong is that by Sunday I had a fine rash all over my face. I'm not sure if it was the makeup or the brushes that did it. However I've gotten my makeup done at Mac and I've never had a problem. I always let the attest know that I have oily and sensitive skin before we start. I had to go home and blot all of the oil from my face... correct the under eye concealer and now I'm trying to treat a rash. I gave two stars because she did an excellent job on my eye makeup. And she was very nice. If you have sensitive skin, think twice before you try Ulta. read more
