My lovely hairstylist Marion's work is amazing as usual. I have been coming to her for years and LOVE the results she always gives me. She is a master colorist and knows how to work with you based on the tones and hues that you are looking for. I mean, the pictures speak for themselves. You will not regret working with her! I promise. We always laugh and have a great time; she is a beautiful soul who genuinely makes me smile at my reflection after every transformation. Please ignore the nasty reviews people put on here about the time. She does everything she can to get the color right and is very responsive to feedback if you tell her it's not the right color for you. She just wants you to LOVE your hair, nothing else. ALSO, you cannot RUSH beauty; make it a point to ASK how long it will take BEFORE you criticize the processing time. I see a lot of comments about people not knowing how long something will take. But that is bad communication on your part; tell her how much time you have BEFORE you sit in her chair and she will work with you to get you out quickly. read more

The customer service and atmosphere at this store reminds me of a root canal. The manager "Jenny" doesn't know how to smile (you can tell she hates her job) and the cashier "lady that is pregnant" is clueless about how Ulta 20% coupon works and then you add her sarcastic attitude and constantly making faces to customers was disgusting. There was only one person that had a beautiful vibe and essence but I forgot to get her name. Also the only people that treated me right were the ones that don't work permanently at the store (Julio and I forgot the other person's name) and they only work certain days of the week representing a brand. Please don't write me back saying that you are sorry for my experience. Please fix the attitude and the heavy environment at your store. The store is lovely, the location is fantastic, parking is a breeze. Sadly, the staff do not know where anything is in the store. They could not be anymore unhelpful if they tried. When you ask for a product the response is "we don't sell it at this store" which is not true most of the time. Had the most delightful experience here today. Earlier my friend and I was at the Davie location and it was very uncomfortable. So we decided to visit our "home one" which is the River Landing location. Carolina was so helpful in finding the perfect shade. My friend got a cut and set from Veronica and she was the sweetest. She was just about to leave but decided to do my friends hair. She gave us the best hair advice and was so super nice. I love coming to this location! Visited the store for the very first time on a Saturday morning. Walked into the store and there was no one - after a quick glance I saw two cashiers up front but so depth into conversation, they had zero clue that we walked in. After walking around a few minutes, and not finding the specific brand we were looking for, I had to go over to them and ask if they could help. She came over and pointed it out and left right back to finish up her convo w/her guy co-worker - rude. Come to find out the color we wanted was out :/ so I went back over to ask if they could possibly check cabinet or locate it for us - but this time - they has moved their conversation into a lane so I had to look for them, and again, ask for help. This review is solely based off the lack of professionalism due to not being professional I didn't proceed with the service I wanted. I made an appointment to get hair colored and I arrived on time I am checked in and seated. The first seat I was seated at had tons of customer hair which I asked to be moved nothing grosses me out like piles of peoples hair. As I was reseated I sat for a bit I see the colorist working on someone else's hair. Time is passing by I am getting impatient so I asked the colorist if she's doing my my hair she proceeds to say yes, my next question is how long until you are done she tells me more than half an hr mind you we are already 30 min into my slotted time. I ask to speak to the manager they bring over the salon manager i tell her what's going on she tells me she has to check with the stylist. I am telling her the courteous thing to do is to contact the customer and advise that the colorist is running behind schedule so I can take my time getting there. I rushed out to make sure I arrived on time I could have been at the pool with my niece instead of risking it all to be at an appointment where they don't respect the customers time. I don't know about y'all but my time is money. End of the day thank the Lord I didn't get my hair done here because looking at the colorist job it looked sloppy and I would have spazzed out on all of them if my hair came out sloppy. read more
