Really weird experience. I've been to this location a few times and this was the first time I felt really uncomfortable. We were not greeted when we walked in the store. Not a big deal but they managed to greet the people before us and after us. There were several people shopping when we walked in yet they watched us the whole time we were shopping. I was there for two items. Couldn't find them so it took a while to search. No one offered help. The workers were standing around the counter socializing the whole time or leaning back and staring. These were different people than I've seen there before too. As we were still continuing to search, and I was looking for a clarifying shampoo (which I couldn't find because I wasn't sure which one was a good one) I searched every single brand there to compare prices and compare ingredients, etc., as most people do when when they're buying expensive products... Apparently this prompted the security guard to come down the aisle three times to watch us. As I mentioned, there were several other people in the store. We weren't doing anything suspicious. We had no bags so it's not like we had anywhere to stuff anything if they thought that we were trying to take something. He watched us from the moment we walked into the store until the moment we left. I was told I needed ID to use my Ulta credit card as well so I couldn't use it since I didn't bring anything in the store with me except my phone which has Apple Pay. Never had them ask me for my ID before. TLDR: Said hi to everyone but us. Never offered help when I was searching for products. Watched us like we were going to take something. Apparently our gym clothes, with no pockets, meant we needed to be watched. Should've known from the other reviews that I would eventually have a bad experience here. Definitely cancelling my ulta card and never coming back to this location. I will be going to Sephora as I have never had a negative experience there. read more

I needed a place to go for my hair and make-up for my wedding. Being able to schedule appointments online was fantastic, especially when I was trying to cram everything in at once. I ended up calling and moving the appointment up an hour and adding my daughter in, but just knowing that I had one was one thing off of my plate. They accommodated me with no problem. They were so nice when we arrived. They took our coats and seated us right away. Robyn did my hair while my daughter waited. I am very wishy-washy and never know what I want. If I do know what I want, it usually looks stupid on me. I trusted Robyn to do her thing, and she did. It looked fantastic. It lasted all night and everyone complimented it. My daughter got her hair done while I went off to make-up. I believe it was a Kaila who did it, and I'm so sorry that I'm not positive. She came to me looking absolutely adorable with braids and curls. Her hair also lasted the entire evening. My makeup was done by Cassidy, who is just the sweetest. I am not a big makeup person at all and she kept me looking natural. It was light and it lasted. I am so grateful for everyone there. Thank you for making my wedding that much better. read more

I was shopping around with my friends and was being followed by many employees staring at us, as we tried samples and testers we were being looked at and we decided to try a skincare smoothie, we made it and then we went to other areas of the store to keep shopping, as we waited in line to checkout many employees were running around and I heard one say "we have them on camera." Then a POLICE OFFICER came to talk to us and said "there has been a complaint that you guys broke something." we broke nothing. We didn't take or break anything. I was in desperate need of products that I had run out of during lockdown and decided to run over to Ulta Beauty. The woman who greeted me at the door was very pleasant and later on asked me if I needed any help finding things, which I did. I was looking for a new facial cleanser and a skin regenerating serum of some sort. I wasn't given one recommendation, but four! She had personal experience with 98% of what she showed me and gave me awesome insight to how they worked. I wish I could remember her name but she had curly black hair and a mask on (bad attempt at a joke). After I considered my options, I ended up purchasing the Bye Bye Undereye Concealer and the Murad Skin Cleansing Cream -- both of which I love. I'm sorry I forgot your name, but nameless lady at Ulta, thank you so much for your guidance. You were lovely to talk to and I hope your bosses read this. Very unhelpful and unattentive to very simple questions. All employees very rude and in their own world. I had a mask on and I was well within 15 feet of anyone at the store and I wanted to smell some perfume. I pulled my mask down to smell the perfume and was told I was not allowed to do that, yet someone was getting their hair cut at the station with their mask below their nose. Also the person cutting the hair had their mask below their nose too... very unprofessional.... 0/5 worst ulta I have ever been to! read more

I love walking aro und this store! They have so many different make up brand names. They also sell perfume, lotions , hair supplies, holiday items . I've been to the hair salon,here and I would not suggest it.. I had a few issues with the color. They also have a make up artist who will sit with you and teach you how to apply make up. Testers were goopy or non existent, inventory was low or completely out. Just a general mess. I witnessed an employee applying her own makeup instead of assisting customers or cleaning up the store! First let me start with - I love Ulta. The selection, the convenience, the sales, etc. I was in this store last week. I picked up a number of items including 2 containers of the large size Crew 3 in 1 for my husband. Both it and the pumps for the larger size shampoos and shower products were on sale. Picture it - no one is on line. I had left the bottles of "Crew" on the counter as they were heavy. As I am picking them up a young woman behind the counter saunters over to a register and tells me she needs me over here. I begin to smile and say I had just left these at the end of the counter while I shopped because they were heavy but can tell by the look on her face she is annoyed, so I stop. As she is ringing me up, I asked her how to use the pump as it seemed stuck. She looks at me, waits 30 seconds and says "I have no idea". Now I turn my back on her and ask the woman who looks like she may be the manager how to use it and she shows me. Both Ulta and this young woman seem to have forgotten that they are a retail business and the purpose of having sales associates is to assist the customers. If the woman behind the counter did not know how to use something she should have asked. Perhaps, the young lady belongs behind a desk, in a cubicle, with no human interaction as she has no people skills. But really, Ulta, why do you employ people like this???? read more

I have been to this salon 3 times now and could not be happier with the results I have gotten every time. The first time I went there was after a hair DIY disaster that resulted in BLUE hair that had to be fixed right away. This was the only salon that was able to see me the next day and they totally transformed my hair without damaging it, even kindly informing me I should not add any color until a few weeks had passed to avoid further damage. On my recent trip I decided to try balayage, and the girl did SUCH a great job. The price was also 2/3 LESS than my sister paid who got the same style done (same hair type/same length) at a different salon. Many years ago, I decided it would be a good idea to switch from my normal brand of hair color to another one and ended up looking kind of like a pumpkin. I walked in to Ulta with my friend looking to buy another color to fix my pumpkin problem when my friend noticed a girl with an apron on. We flagged her down and I have not had my hair done by anyone since. Rachel at the salon there is hands down a hair GODDESS! Not only did she fix my pumpkin problem, but she also gave me the best cut and color I've ever had. I love that when I go to get my hair done, I can also stock up on all my other beauty needs. I went here to get my hair cut last minute on a Saturday morning. I needed a pick me up because I was feeling drab and hadn't planned ahead at all. The woman at the front desk was incredibly understanding and accommodating. I knew there would be a short wait and didn't mind at all. The receptionist checked in a few times and the wait was not bad at all! The woman who cut my hair was very very nice and my hair cut turned out great. When I asked her for a specific product that I could not locate in the store (it was quite disorganized) she actually scoffed at me and acted like she had no clue what I was talking about. I've definitely been underestimating this store. My boyfriend's sister and mom shop here frequently but I've always disregarded it as a beauty stop because they lack some brand varieties. But this weekend I was in there and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a beauty discount program (another reason I never cared for them), have very friendly and helpful staff (something you don't always get at Sephora) and are pretty reasonably priced. And my favorite thing about Ulta is they offer coupons! Something Sephora has never done (to my knowledge). The manager and cashier were really helpful and did everything they could to try and place the order. Although we we not successful in placing the order, they couldn't have been nicer. Just stood online at this store for something that was on sale by the time I got to the cashier who had a long and in depth conversation with each customer and had trouble even ringing items just to be told that it's an online only sale. To make matters worse the item which I was going to buy is no longer on sale due to a time restriction!! Great job ladies. You reminded me why I don't go to your store!!
