I recently went there for a massage which was not well done as the massage therapist did not follow my very clear verbal request to massage the neck and shoulders which she ignored. When messaging management the owner dismissed the compliant and stated that this massage therapist was often requested. He refused to refund or credit for the service and was extremely rude and disrespectful. I will not be returning. I am not sure how they manage to stay in business being so dismissive and rude to their customers. They could not bear to hear criticism at all. read more

A few things to note from today's experience 8/18/25. The women's locker room is under renovations and I was not informed when I booked the appointment via phone. The space my massage took place in had a massage table with 3 towels propping up 3 of the 4 legs to make it stable. The massage I experienced was ok. It was not symmetrical. The masseuse performed strokes & techniques differently on each side of body. For example stretching one leg and not the other, pushing down on one flute and not the other. I definitely did not receive the upscale experience today that I have received in the past. read more

I've been a bleach blonde for 8 years and have visited many hair salons--never once have I needed a color correction. I've been going to DePasquale Salon for almost two years without issue, until now. Recently, I came in with light blonde hair for a full head of highlights for the summer. My appointment was late in the evening, and I didn't realize until the next morning that my hair was orange. I understand that mistakes can happen, so I called the salon and they had me come in that same day to get it toned by another stylist. The stylist confirmed my hair was, in her words, orange--definitely not the blonde I walked in with. After the toning, my hair turned brown. I explained that I didn't want brown hair--I came in to go lighter, not darker. The salon offered a third appointment the next day for a half head of highlights. When I asked about being refunded the difference (since I originally paid for a full head and now had brown hair), I was told that it "didn't make sense" because I had received a service. At the third appointment, the third stylist told me they couldn't add more bleach because it would damage my hair. I completely understood and appreciated that honesty, but the result was still darker than the hair I originally had. I reached out via email asking for either a refund or some form of compensation. During a phone call, I was told I had two options: come back in a few months and pay to have my hair redone, or receive a full refund--but not be welcomed back to the salon. They dyed my hair orange, then brown, and when I asked for a refund, they banned me from returning? That's not customer service; that's a scare tactic. To top it off, during the call they falsely claimed I had box-dyed my hair, which I never have. It feels like they were trying to cover up the mistake instead of owning it. The only solution they offered for free was to dye my hair darker--something I clearly never asked for. This entire situation is almost unbelievable. I came in wanting brighter blonde for summer and left with darker hair and no accountability from the salon. read more

I went to Tiyanna for the first time tonight for a haircut and full highlight, and let me just say--I love love LOVE my hair! From the moment I sat in her chair, Tiyanna made me feel comfortable and confident. She truly listened to what I wanted and then somehow managed to exceed my expectations. Not only is she incredibly talented, but her energy is magnetic--she's just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. The whole experience at Depasquale Salon was next-level. I had a pretty solid massage here, but I wasn't blown away by the service or my facial. When I was in the waiting area I heard other people being offered drinks but no one came over to ask me if I wanted anything. I wasn't in a group so maybe that's why. In any case, it put a bad taste in my mouth. The facial was incredibly short and the staff member who gave me my facial had a bit of an attitude. They press hard on your face so I'd wince a little every now and then (which I'd think would be normal when someone is applying pressure to your face). The aesthetician kept pausing every few minutes to tell me that it wasn't supposed to hurt. She almost seemed frustrated with me. It was a weird vibe for sure. Luckily the experience was much better in the massage room, which was very calming. The masseuse did a great job and it was relaxing - everything I could have hoped for. If you are looking to get a massage / facial the pricing structure makes the most sense to buy a package. However, it's pretty pricey so I'd probably only return if I had a gift or for a special occasion. For an every day massage I like Spavia, where you have the option to get a shorter / more inexpensive massage. And for facials I'd probably visit an esthetician who can remove blackheads (they don't do any extractions here). All in all it's a spa, so you can't ever really have a 'bad experience' - but at times the vibes were weird and it's hella pricey. So with that, I might not return often. read more

I've been a happy client for over 30 years. Ive experienced everything from massages to hair color and hair cuts. The place has a glamorous presence with high end touches like cappuccino and dessert treats. But not all that glitters is good. You can't be going to a place this long and everything be perfect every time. The problem is that when you politely address something, such as needing a adjustment or correction, or asking an opinion that could lead to needing to do any extra effort, there is a lot of ego on the management end. They could be nicer and warmer in their communication instead of becoming defensive. There's a lot going on in the outside world today, and a place like a salon should be place to have a mini- escape and not one for a potential confrontational experience. The personal attention and the attention to detail is always outstanding. She is knowledgeable, professional and kind. This facial leaves me with a glow for weeks, my skin feels lifted and tight. Over the years, my entire family has used the salon from proms to post Covid haircuts. I have used hair and nail services the most and have had wonderful service with almost every stylist and nail technician that has worked there. I recently worked with Joanne at the wig salon who has been amazing! Her client care is truly wonderful! I was even able to have Dolce who isn't always at the salon; but used to style my hair - work with me again. I always share how the first stylist to cut my hair was Justin. DO NOT NOT GO. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HIGH-END salon. Well, yesterday I went to have my hair highlighted to platinum with a bit of blonde. I asked for the best colorist in staff. The colorist contacted me, asked me to send a photo of my current hair and what I was looking for. I provided. At the salon as my appointment began, we reviewed the photos again. It took 4 Hours. The end result was that MY HAIR WAS BLACK, B-L-A-C-K!!! I was upset but spoke in a normal voice. I said, perhaps there was a miscommunication between myself and the colorist (which was impossible to be true but I wanted to be kind) I did not disparage anyone. I paid. Today I called and was put through to JOANNE, the manager to reschedule for correction. She was exceptionally rude, she said I behaved terribly. NOT NOT NOT TRUE. She said we will refund your money and don't come back! At this moment, Depasquales has my funds. No refund was received. While the staff is lovely, the manager Joanne is abrupt and rude. I will gladly never visit again I very much recommend a person use this salon. read more

I can confidently say iI've been coming to Depasquale for the last 10 years to get my haircut. 1) because it is literally 4 minutes away from my house 2) its such a relaxing experience 3) I can somewhat guarantee the technician who is doing my hair knows what he/she is doing. Yes, I understand it is on the pricey side, but I refuse to come home crying because someone ruined my hair so that I can save some $. Naturally, when I saw that they were opening back up post mandatory covid-shut down, I made an appointment asap. This place books up fast even pre-covid so it was no surprise I had to wait about 1.5 months before being able to book an appointment. About a week before my appointment, they reached out to me letting me know that my technician is no longer with the company, but that they'd be happy to hook me up with another tech so I wouldn't have to reschedule. Come to find out she's actually a level4 tech, but they only charged me for my original level 1 tech's fee out of courtesy! I was pretty nervous about going in due to the pandemic and all but the appointment ran smoothly and did not ruin the relaxing experience at all. I have been going on and off for about 20 years to depasquale. I don't think I will be going again. I always tell my friends what a great place it is but....... I went in for a hair cut. The shampoo girl kept calling me HONEY which I find very unprofessional. The shampoo itself was terrible. She shampooed my hair for about two seconds and was done. She took me to my chair where I sat for about 10 minutes waiting for my stylist. I saw her on the floor but she made no attempt to get to me right away. During the hair cut she got a phone call. Proceeded to answer it and left me for about 5-10 minutes. When she returned didn't say anything like sorry or that was an emergency. Definitely not worth the $90 I paid for the haircut. She didn't cut enough off so I will have to go somewhere else before the holidays. read more

I had the worst experience last night. Was told on the phone the charge was $80 with level one and was $160 when I went to pay. I had been switched apparently as person had a different name and was a level 3. After discussion and two tries, it was adjusted. Hair was razor cut and 1 1/2 inches shorter than picture. Not sure What is going on now with this place. They blamed the charge on call center. Also one side was longer than the other. Fixed it myself. This was not the first time I was surprised by the price being not what was originally offered and I received a lopsided cut. NEVER GOING BACK!!! read more

I'm leaning between 3-4 stars now. I used to adore this place. It is pricey but you get the extra stuff like the relaxing spa feeling, get towel and slippers to wear, locker to lock your things, comfortable massage tables, aromatherapy then the relaxing women's ladies room with beverages, cappuccinos, sandwiches , fruit, then a shower with all the products to wash your hair and body. I just wish I enjoyed the massages more. European massage just feels like someone rubbing my skin now. Maybe because I prefer deep tissue now ... I probably won't get another European massage here - I came recently to treat my mom to a Mother's Day massage . I joined so it's more fun for her to have company. Place is pricey .. maybe I will try a deep tissue next time . It hard to come back when you have a regular therapist who does a way better job and it's half the price. I really want to give this place zero stars. Let me begin that I had 150 gift card from my friend for my 60th birthday. I finally decided to use it at this place for a haircut . Didn't know any of the hair stylists. I have them give me a basic one costing $75. I was good with that. I figured I would spend the rest at the gift shop. I live in Brooklyn and wouldn't be coming back. I made an appointment for 11:00. Unfortunately we hit major traffic . I called and told them I would be late they said ok. They later call me and I was told they had to change my stylist. Again I wouldn't know the difference. I got there 25 minutes later. But I did call and let them know, they said not to worry. After my haircut I went to pay the bill , she said it was $120!!! I was shocked. I asked why she said I got a different girl who was at a higher level. And she said I was late! So she was the one available! Really .... You could have told me how much she was !! Basically I was penalized because I was late so we will give her the most expensive one! The cut was good but not worth $120!!! Not worth the money and a very snooty salon ! I have been to many and always treated with respect. No apologies , nothing! I wouldn't recommend coming here at all. I go to Manhattan and Brooklyn salons that are 100% better in attitude and treatment. I travelled 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there. Traffic and life happens!! Wasn't offered water or cappuccino!! I had that I have to write this.. I felt looked down upon. Update!!! So I did end up going back to the salon after speaking with a manager over the phone. She recommended doing a treatment mask etc to help mend the damage..... Well first let me say, Paige ( not Lizeth the level III stylist that literally burned my hair with bleach & heat on the initial visit) was extremely kind & patient. She trimmed the face frame which is still completely broken and thinned out. Yes, there is "improvement".... but will take years to grow back and fill in. She then did an olaplex treatment with toner ( my hair color is still blotchy and blah) but Paige did what she could... being the unfortunate chosen one to clean up someone else's MESS!! Then she added a mask ... rinsed.... combed it out .... and that was pretty much it. She did recommend a couple products by Olaplex that she put up at the counter ...I'll get to that later. So basically my hair was towel dried and I was sent up to the front... mind you I was there for about an hour and a half and not once did the manager come up to me and apologize for the horrible experience I had with the salon, and she walked past me quite a few times avoiding making any sort of eye contact, which I think is just BAD BUSINESS ..UNPROFESSIONAL ....& RUDE!! So I'm up at the register and the employee starts adding up my "bill" and the manager walks up and says no she pays nothing for the service then takes the two products that Paige had recommended and says only these! Then she quickly turns around and walks away. I look to the girl at the register and I said did she say I need to pay for the products!? The girl responded yes. "So let me get this straight .... She expects me to pay for products to mend the damage that one of her stylists is responsible for doing to my hair in the first place ???" ARE YOU EFFEN KIDDING ME??? I said you guys must think I'm stupid! "Also shame on her for not having enough professionalism to come up to me and ask how I was doing or extend her apologies for the situation."Long story short they basically just did the bare minimum by trimming the burnt hair and slapped on a mask which we all know is just a Band-Aid then sending me on my way with a wet head in the middle of winter!! I will continue to share my horrible experience with anyone that even considers giving them a dime of their hard earned money. I went there with an open mind hoping that they would try to make this right and they had the audacity to try and make an additional sale! I waited 4 1/2 months to finally get my hair done & basically spent 500 dollars to have my hair DESTROYED!!! I will forever regret choosing De Pasquale! Depasquale's saved my daughter's prom! The salon where I scheduled my daughter to have her hair and make up done for prom had overbooked appointments so they rushed her hair and cancelled her makeup, leaving her in a very bad situation 2 hours before photos. The staff at Depasquales was so kind and even without an appointment managed to redo her hair and apply a full makeup look. She looked incredible! And made it to pictures on time. Denise did such a beautiful and hair style that was perfect for her dress and Marnie's make-up was flawless. Everyone at the salon/spa was so understanding and really made a distressed girl feel like a princess. To say I recommend the services here is big understatement. I recently visited the spa for an 80 minute deep tissue massage. Valerie was my masseuse and she was fantastic. She used the perfect amount of pressure and was very thorough. My only complaint is that the massage was cut short by a few minutes- especially with the price you pay, I think services should go for the full amount of time. The facility is clean and tranquil. The relaxation room offers fruit-infused water, various small bites, tea and cappuccino from their cappuccino bar. They provide robes which are quite comfy, as well as slippers and secure lockers to store your personal items. Their hours are great, offering early and late appointments, so there's bound to be a time that fits your schedule. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

I had been here once before about 4 years ago and loved the massage. So, I was excited when I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage for my birthday, which I finally used last night. First, when my masseuse brings me into the room she says you're here for an 80 minute deep tissue massage. No, the card from DePasquale Spa specifically states 90 mins! Next , the massage room was cold and all the oil she used was cold. No way my muscles were going to relax with cold oil!! As far as the deep tissue, she did a good Job reaching the deep tissues of my back and shoulders but all the rest of the massage was just okay. She didn't stay on any other part of my body long enough. I've had a lot of massages and I don't think this one even lasted 80 minutes. This is the last time I'll ever go here or recommend it to anyone. read more

I just got highlights done at the salon and it's been the worst experience ever. I asked for highlights in a Golden/honey color and it was not at all what I had asked for. After two attempts to add gloss, we couldn't achieve the color. Aside from not getting the color I wanted, the service was absolutely terrible. They had a "take it or leave it" attitude and there was no collaboration. When booking my appointment over the phone, I had also asked for a blow dry add on. When I got to the salon they said they didn't book it and nobody was available to blow dry. After the failed color attempts, I was handed a blow dryer to dry my hair my self. When I asked the manager what to do because my hair was not even close to what I wanted, she said she could give me a complimentary service in the evening to redo the color and style my hair. I had asked her if I could at least have a hair clip to clip my hair because it was half wet and half dry, she said she didn't have a clip. **no clip in a hair salon..????** In the evening I came to get my color again and it was the best they could go. The stylist was SO rude to me, making me feel like it's my fault they couldn't get it right. I felt absolutely humiliated. After the service, the manager looked at my up and down a few times and then asked if my hair was to my satisfaction. When I said no, she said well why not. When I explained it's not the hair color I requested, she just said **rolls her eyes** "so you don't like it?" I explained again it's not what I asked for but it's fine because there's nothing else we can do, she looked at me up and down, rolled her eyes, gave me a fake smile and said "that'll be $120". When I said it was supposed to be complimentary, she said "ok have a nice night". I have never felt so humiliated. Suheil, Matilde and the managers were so rude to me. I will never go back into this salon again. The WORST experience. read more

So disappointed in hair.. 400 dollars for root a few highlights and cut. Then went to spa for hydro facial. Rushed.. 30 less minutes.. 200 dollars. Went back to Iris tree in Chester. Amazing experience. Hour and a half of calm and real spa experience.. 180 dollars and a lot more professionalism and spa experience.. guess you can't believe all you read on ratings. Massage was great. Two issues over the past several months make me hesitate going back. Firstly my wife and daughter scheduled a late evening 80 minute massage. When they were finished they were told the showers and steam were closed and they needed to dress immediately and leave. Hair and body covered In lotion and oils. Secondly I received a gift card 3 month's ago. There was a promotion and de Pasquale offered an additional gift card which I could use toward products. Apparently the spa raised prices and the gift card was now applied to the massage AND I needed to add an additional amount to cover only the massage not the gratuity. Don't appreciate the ethics. FRIED HAIR BY RACHEL! I had balayage done Thursday 4/18. I liked the results but felt that my roots were too orange.  I called the salon the next day and I made another appt for 4/22 to fix the orange roots. Rachel threw highlights on top of the balayage and it dried my hair out completly to the point where it is shedding!!!. To make matters worst it looks uneven and more orange than when I first started. I cannot believe I was left like this, it doesnt even look like a balayage.  My hair was brassy before my last appointment but it didnt look that bad. She only had to adjust the top. What was initially supposed to be an hour appointment turned into 3 hours. It seemed like I was left on with foils on and under a heater for too long while she was in the middle of doing another clients hair and everytime she would come back and check on my hair I would ask if my hair wasn't burned. She continued to assured me everything was fine. By the time I got my hair washed and a gloss was applied I could feel the texture of my hair was not the same. Rachel asked the assistant to apply a hair treatment and it still didn't help. She came back to check briefly on my hair and asked her assistant to apply conditioner. Chase did so and proceded to brush my hair saying it gets tangled with the wash (which never happened before). I also asked Chase if my hair was burned to which she replied no. I got to the chair and Rachel dried a portion of my hair to make sure the color was ok. I continued to ask if my hair was not burned. The texture had definitely changed to the point hair strands would stretch and were almost gray. She continued saying it wasnt and that she did not touch my ends even thou each hair strand was picked up completely by bleach into a foil. I questioned this being that my hair never felt like this the other time she treated my hair and that my hair stretching is not normal. I could not even run my fingers through it, even after brushing. She continued to contradict my statement saying my hair was not burned and that she only treated the top. I told her then who did this? my hair surely did not feel or looked like this before!! She replied saying "I don't know what else to do! I already spent a lot of my time trying to fix it to make you happy". At that point I started crying. Never in my life my hair looked so awful! When she saw my discontent she wanted to give me a blowout which I refused. There was nothing she could do to give me my hair back. She called a manager that also said my hair was not burned... she didn't even touch my hair to begin with!!! She offered to apply hair treatments and i told her Rachel had already done that. Nothing can fix this amount of damage... This people took no accountability for what was done!! Even the manager kept denying my hair was fried!!! I was left alone drying my hair with no solution. You be the judge, pictures attached. I wish i never went there!!! Definitely not the type of work you see in her Instagram pictures. I guess you have to be a celebrity to deserve that type of treatment from her... Stay away!!! read more

I've had a few different dermaplaning facials at other spas for a similar price and I didn't feel that this one was worth the price. It felt like I paid $175 for someone to shave and put a face mask on my face. I left feeling greasy instead of glowing.
