Also, there is also no excuse not to at least tell me there would be several interruptions, I would have rescheduled. The one star is for Ceaser who at least was pleasant and nice enough. The low star review is for how horrible the situation was - I felt rushed and repeatedly interrupted, the experience was terrible. There are so many brands out there to try, I would not recommend Mac, the product is just ok... I have read other reviews for Bloomingdales & Macy's locations and this is not the first time a customer has been treated like this. Shame on Bloomingdale's ...I waited for 20min because one of the employees gave me misinformation that he was just running late - to only come back to me a second time and say he was going to be another half hour but there is no guarantee!!!??? So I left and he called me to come back after 40min! Seems like these appointments are just possibilities- maybe they will show up? Maybe help you uninterrupted, maybe not??? Never again, terrible lesson learned.

The rep. showed me about 10 brushes. These brushes are much softer than the ELF brushes but more expensive unfortunately. I ended up buying five brushes-. Foundation brush, a cheekbone brush, a bronzer brush & 2 brushes for the eyes. I will be returning the 2 eye brushes. The ones I have from Trish McEvoy are much better. I had a great time shopping at MAC Walt Whitman mall. Sometimes you have to shop in person.

Both my daughter and I have been there for haircuts and blowouts, which is why I felt comfortable coming back. Today, I scheduled a consultation for 9:00 AM. Everything was handled during the consultation, but the stylist I initially spoke with didn't have availability, so I was booked with the only stylist who was available, Eleanor, which I was completely fine with. Unfortunately, when I arrived, Eleanor didn't seem to know what I was looking to have done. She repeatedly spoke to the stylists next to her asking them what she should do. At one point, she moved me across the room and continued going back and forth to the other stylist for advice. She then told me she couldn't achieve what I wanted. I completely understood and told her that was fine, but explained that I needed my hair done for tomorrow and asked what options we had. Her response repeatedly was, "I don't know." On top of that, Eleanor kept telling me that she didn't have time to do my hair today and that I should come back another day. If I had been told that from the beginning, I would have simply gone somewhere else when I left the salon the first time. I came back because I was under the impression that I had an appointment and that we were going to figure out a solution for my hair. Being told repeatedly after I was already there that she didn't have time was extremely frustrating, especially since I needed my hair done for tomorrow. I then spoke with the manager, and unfortunately that interaction was just as disappointing. She was being very rude, constantly cutting me off and speaking over me rather than actually trying to understand what I was explaining. which is probably why the stylists act the way they do. She repeatedly said that she already knew the situation from the stylist and didn't seem interested in hearing my side of what happened. I have never experienced this type of customer service at a salon before, especially after being a returning customer. I understand that sometimes a stylist may not be able to achieve a specific look, and I was completely willing to work with that and find another option. What was upsetting was the lack of communication, professionalism, and willingness to help find a solution.
