I've been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt after questionable services, business practices, etc. and kept sticking around but last night was my final straw and I canceled my membership. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment time and while I was waiting, I noticed an employee browsing products in the front, casually chitchatting with employees and just assumed she was on her break. Turns out this was actually the aesthetician that I was waiting for. Once I was settled in the room and she came back in I laid there awkwardly for at least 10 minutes while she had water running. After a while she said "sorry I have to prepare the towels, they weren't done, I thought I had a break between my appointments but I guess not so that why I'm doing that now." Okay, fine but shouldn't rooms be properly stocked and ready before guests arrive? Keeping in mind I've just seen this employee 'hanging out' in the front but yet I'm laying here wasting MY time and money. She then proceeded to strike up a conversation about kids and autism (I had mentioned to her that I am a teacher) and that my boys are on the spectrum.... She then asked me if I took Tylenol when I was pregnant with them!!! I was shocked and horrified that anyone would ever ask such a question, especially a "professional." Later in the conversation I was discussing upcoming plans for the weekend in a local town about 20 minutes south of here and she told me to be careful there "because it's dark there" I told her that I was going to be there in the middle of the afternoon and then she said "no that's not what I mean by dark, it's the people you need to be careful of." Okay, so now we have moved on from autism causes to blatant racism. If I wasn't laying there with product on my face I would have run out of that room. What a horrible experience from start to finish. This place really used to be so nice, why I bought membership package so long ago, but sadly cannot say that anymore. With so many other options locally I will no longer support this business and their awful, prejudiced employee.
