I took the online Madison Reed test and it said it's possible (no mention of highlights), so coming in I had high hopes. REMEMBER, All color is $97..After I talked with a stylist, she said it was impossible for me to dye my hair that light, and only half head highlights would be available. NOW the service is up to $192. ALSO the stylist was being confusing saying that she could change my "base" color AND add highlight. To both me and my mom, this meant lightening my hair. The actual service was fine.. until the end where I had to style my own hair myself. (Btw if you have curly hair, the products dried my hair out.. I frlt like I was touching tree bark) When I was using their trashy products, I thought my hair had ZERO change. It still looked black. I didn't even finish doing my own hair before walking over to my mom and complaining. My mom also agreed that there was almost ZERO change. Even after standing in the sun. I was visibly upset when the stylist came forward and asked what was wrong. I voiced my concerns about how it doesn't look any different, and that I'm not happy with the results. The stylist then said that it will develop and get lighter over time, and I just have to be patient (I call BS). I asked her to clarify and she just repeated her statement. Then she said that I would have to come in every 3-4 weeks for root touch ups and that also helps in it getting lighter over time. I got so upset I left when my mom paid. When I got home, I noticed that my highlights are completely uneven and patchy! Not to mention its GINGER. I asked for CHOCOLATE BROWN, not ginger! My head is starkly black with a random mixture of thin and thick ginger highlights. My middle part isn't even in the middle of my head. The total irony in this whole experience is that they have "Never comprise" on the wall infront of where I have to wash my hair. When all I did was comprise and get played. My stylist is Denise, and she should really be ashamed for what she did to my hair. I am currently buying hair dye myself to fix this trash.
