    I love ulta because you can get everything you need beauty wise in one place! It's a one stop shop! I had my hair done by Liz and she did a great job! The blonde turned out beautiful in my dark brown hair! She is my go to hair stylist for a bayalage! The best thing about the Tulsa hills location is that they are the only location in Tulsa with a spa room! The esthetician here is great and knowledge and gives such a relaxing facial! Microdermabrasion with a collagen mask is my favorite! My skin is smooth, soft and glowing!

    Came in yesterday, wanted to try the deep conditioning treatment they offer at the salon, I ended up getting my hair cut and styled by Grace, she did a wonderful job and held a great conversation. I found a new hair stylist in Tulsa thanks to her, Thank you Grace for the wonderful experience and great cut!

    A stylist at Tulsa Hills did this to my hair and then accepted an over 100% tip knowing that I could not see what she had done in the mirror while I was in the salon. I have to go somewhere else to have it fixed and bleached to blend the bald spots. The girl accepted my tip after falsely representing her work. She is a thief. She kept it and let me leave the store TWICE knowing that's what my hair looked like and I could not see it at the time. She didn't fess up, ask for help or send me to a more experienced stylist when she realized things weren't turning out right either. There is no way she did not notice. Your company has been less than empathetic or helpful. I spent over $100 in your store that day and ended up with $36 dollars back and it looks like I am going bald. Absolutely unacceptable. I want my tip back. I have been hung up on by a corporate agent and pushed off by another even though I was polite because they had no solution. I spoke to one manager yesterday who told me not to expect to hear back about a resolution for at least 24 hours. AT LEAST? I am an ADULT PROFESSIONAL and I have to wear this hair that I paid for with my hard earned adult money for how long? You should be falling all over yourself to book me in right now and have someone work overtime. I talked to you at 5:30pm on a SATURDAY for crying out loud. No one could stay a little late to make this right? My one centimeter long hair would take too long? Your next answer is to get me in with the best stylist it will be about 5 days. 5 days?? Look, this is not just some laugh it off bad high school memory. While I appreciate the manager Sunday that felt like there was nothing else that she could do but offer me some other service, I would have to be absolutely insane to allow anyone in that store to touch my hair again. I have no trust. What if they burn off my hair with bleach? I won't be compensated. Corporate won't care. They don't care now. No one has thus far. I will not be back in any Ulta store. Especially this one. I have a gift card to your store that I will give to someone else because the thought of stepping foot in your store literally gives me so much anxiety I want to cry. It's awful. I have bald patches, a mullet and it looks like she hacked above my ears with garden shears and I have to wear this around town. I haven't taken my hat off since. Thanks guys.

    Always very helpful and I like that they always have good tips and discounts. Like get 1 and de 2nd is 50% off. I can accumulate points and then have discounts. If for some reason I cant find it at the store I can always get it online.

I chose Nicole based on her stylist description on the website. She's experienced and an artist in life more than just hair, so I felt she would be able to take control when I told her what I wanted. I'm open for a conversation to get to what's realistic based on upkeep, home styling, and my hair type. I rely on hair stylists expertise and many do not seem comfortable taking the reins on it, even though they should, IMO, since they are the professional. She delivered and then some. She is very knowledgeable. She explains things in a way that you can tell she just knows her stuff and she wants to make sure you understand where you two are going. She puts importance in giving you what you want, but also explaining how it will work based on how much time you want to spend on your hair and upkeep. Since this was our first meeting, I only did haircut (which is more important than color and requires an artful eye to shape, personality, etc), but we discussed color and she's on it. She knows her stuff and I feel super comfortable letting her work on me next time. I've had the privilege of having some really talented stylists coming from California. This salon has at least one talented lady here that I can speak of and they are very lucky to have her!

I left…read morewith a very crooked haircut, confirmed by the next stylist who cut my hair, and a color that turned brassy and orange within weeks. I had no way of knowing at the time despite the standard mirror check. I tipped 20% because I always tip and because I had no idea yet what had been done. When I called to address the color issue, the manager was immediately hostile. She later confirmed, without apparent awareness of what she was admitting, that the stylist, Christine, had applied Ash Brown Level 7, not the gray level 4 from the Aveda Demi+ line I'd requested and that Christine told me she would use. The manager even said she didn't know anything about color levels but confirmed that the gray Aveda line was sitting in plain site on their shelf. And Christine applied a completely different product than what I consented to. Had I known, I would have walked out, because I specifically told her not to put brown in my hair because it would turn brassy. I then contacted an Aveda school in Austin who confirmed the wrong products were used and offered to correct the damage themselves. I compiled documentation and research but the manager and the always unavailable owner of the salon refused to review any of it. The salon's offered remedy was to have the same stylist who had lied to me about the products she used, fix the damage she caused. I declined. No way. They considered this offer sufficient. I did not. I filed a dispute with American Express. Only then did the owner contact me, but to berate me. No accountability was taken despite Christine's own admission through the manager. Their refund policy was never disclosed at time of service either verbally or in writing, which they are required to do. They then used my 20% tip to twist things as evidence that I was satisfied. A word of advice: Do not tip your stylist until you are certain they did what they said they would do. I learned this the hard way. Make them show you the actual tubes of color they're mixing. Additionally, roughly two to three months ago the manager appeared in my Facebook feed. I had not contacted this business in well over a year. I found it deeply unsettling that she sought me out on social media long after the fact. Christine's name appears in multiple negative reviews for this business. There is a pattern here. Proceed with caution.

Most of the negative reviews revolve around wait time which is understandable when they're swamped since their model is walk-ins only. I usually call ahead and ask how long the estimated wait time is for the specific service I'm looking for. Then, they add me to the list and I plan accordingly, showing up around that time. That way, I avoid having to be surprised by a long wait. A lot of times people stop by and leave if it's going to take too long. Calling ahead saves time. Their tea tree experience when they wash your hair is so worth it. It includes a deep scalp massage that's super relaxing. You can get a free one on your first visit by texting "TulsaHair" to 888111. I recently went in for dry styling, which is not a service they have on their website, but they do have it on their menu at the salon. It starts at $15 depending on what you want and how long your hair is. Mine was $30 since I have long hair. Compared to other salons, this is pretty competitive. Adamary was super sweet and helpful despite being the only stylist at the salon at the time. She was multitasking like a boss and easy to talk to. I also noticed she applied heat protecting spray before curling my hair, something that other hair salons easily dismiss. I appreciated her doing tight curls so they'd last longer.
