This location has had some kind of issue with every prescription I've had filled here, requiring me to either call in (which takes an unreasonable amount of time) or make multiple trips up there. Today, one of my prescriptions was put on hold because they "could not find my insurance." I pay out of pocket. This is not the first time I've filled this prescription on a cash basis. The staff member at the counter offered no apology and no explanation unless I specifically asked for one. When I did ask, she was unable to tell me when the prescription would be ready. I later called to follow up, and the automated system could not locate the prescription at all. After nearly an hour on hold, I finally reached someone who would only tell me it would be ready tomorrow, with no further detail and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I have used other Walgreens locations out south without issue. This one is a different experience entirely. read more

Kyle and the pharmacy team at the 15th & Lewis Walgreens went above and beyond on getting my wife medicine for a sudden onset tremendously painful UTI even though it was closing time by the time the tele-health doctor called it in - they bent over backward to make it happen. Sitting waiting for my script and they just closed everything down right after I spoke to the pharmacist. They didn't say anything just locked it all up. I went around to drive thru that had 4 people in line and they just closed it up too. I work I health care and you don't leave until all the patients are taken care of. I have been in walgreen several time, first I had to wait 2 weeks for my medicine. next time I got it right aways after I call. Now I went there in sept 19 and I call see if it was ready and they say pick it up right. so I got there and they told me not till the 21 of sept. so I got there 21 of sept and now they told me wait till I get order from the doctor. Specifically for pharmacy. WORST PHARMACY EVER! These people do not care about getting you your meds. They lie about when it will be ready and lie about prices. The hours are wrong on the website. I've been there 3 times today to pick up a script. I'm always told come back in a few hours and it will be ready. I'm off work one day a week and now I have to wait until next Monday. If I don't have my meds I get extremely sick and can potentially die. You would think they would take that serious but they don't. I've had to go out of town w out it because they don't have it ready which puts me a. Very bad position to survive. I hate this place w a passion. I just don't get it. I will be boycotting this location and telling everyone I know how horrible it is. Get new MGMT or something. This is uncalled for and downright dangerous. read more

I wish I could give this store less than a zero but after numerous times giving them chance after chance this last time I was charged $28 for passport photos with a digital copy. They were so bad the passport office wouldn't accept them. When I came back in the store they retook them with the same antiquated digital camera and came out even worse. When I ask the man if he could just use my iPhone he said he couldn't. I've already wasted $28 dollars and time to come back and I can't even get any help to resolve this situation. I'm done and won't be back. If you are looking for customer service or help avoid this place at all costs. I've been inside at least 10 times in the last two years and it is one of the worse Walgreens I've ever had the displeasure of going inside. This is truly the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. From allowing a man to cut me and line and berating me when I politely tried to reinsert myself in front of him, taking my insurance card to the back for 5 minutes unable to input the information properly. I then asked to pay without insurance and pulled out my card only to be told I can't pay until they 'make my prescription'. Why would you send me a notification that my RX is ready when you 1. haven't filled it, and 2. making me wait 30+ minutes (still here!) for it. Just don't go here. This store needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It is gross. Pharmacy consistently offers a terrible experience. I get it, you're short staffed. Do something about it. But I wouldn't want to work here either so maybe that's the problem. This location is hot garbage on molded toast. 100% of the time that I have gone in, there are unsavory customers. It is unfortunate that the hood employees and decent customers have to deal with that. I stopped going to this location but my mother wanted to move her prescriptions to a location with a drive-thru. We went in, gave the pharmacy tech the necessary information, including my mother's insurance information. We go back to get the prescription. The tech working drive-thru (shirt, ponytail, young) was busy... and rude. She said the bill was $62? That didn't sound right but okay. New insurance. Ran my mother's card. She sent it back and she she didn't stay to have a conversation as to what the issue may be. There was plenty of money in the account. Tried mine. Same thing. We went in because the tech was so dismissive. Glad we did. Of course I got into it with an unsavory customer that kept standing right up on me. The woman working inside was nice. She looked for the prescription. The tech working drive-thru had tossed it in a corner. It Turns out the original tech never put in the insurance information. Got that corrected. Card machine worked as well. And now my mother is moving her prescription somewhere else. read more

This is an unreliable pharmacy as to service hours and pick-up availability. Send your prescriptions elsewhere as there are many other options in this area. They are not open 24 hours per day, contrary to their on-line posted details. In fact, sometimes they will close the walk-in AND drive-through of the pharmacy mid-afternoon so you can't get the prescriptions that they've notified you are ready. Today, there were 12 cars waiting for a single drive-through window so I decided just to walk in to get mine. There was a sign on the door apologizing for only the drive-through being open that day. These are not one-off occurrences. Sadly, this is typical with this location. Being able to pick up your filled prescriptions can be a very urgent situation. This is unacceptable. They must be terribly managed. Go elsewhere. read more

This store is a dump. Additionally, just showed up for my flu vaccine. Scheduled online, completed all paperwork online. I arrive, and they seem to know nothing about it. It's like the Keystone Cops. I will NOT rely on this place for prescriptions, vaccinations, or anything important ever again. CVS is just down the street. read more

I arrived last Wednesday evening to pick up my prescription. 3 different techs proceeded to tell me that my dr had sent 45g of medication that would be around $160. Obviously that didn't seem right, but the techs insisted that was my only option. Friday I called my health insurance company to see if I could order my medication directly from them for a cheaper price. They offered me the same 45g for $55, all I needed to do was have Walgreens cancel out the order so my insurance could fill it themselves. When I called Walgreens to do so, I was advised that they couldn't cancel it and that they "had fixed it" and I could now get 15g for $18 with two refills. I was also advised that they "have no idea where the $160 amount came from". I spent a total of two hours getting this straightened out. This is my first time using Walgreens and honestly, after this experience, I don't know if I'll be using them again! read more

One star for the pharmacy is grossly overrated. I received the email notification that my prescription was ready yesterday. After 20 minutes in the drive-through, yeah, I'm lazy, I was informed by the pharmacy rep I had waited more than seven days to pick that up. I told her she was incorrect and showed her the email that I had received the previous day. She said there's nothing I can do. The pharmacy rep stated that the emails are automated without consideration that they have been fulfilled. Upon further discussion, she and the manager threaten to call the police. As I waited for the police and or my prescription they finally delivered my prescription stating in a rude voice 'Have a nice day, sir'. Completely uncalled for and unbelievably rude. read more

Pharmacy is a joke. They got my order wrong in drive thru. When I went in they admitted they were wrong but wanted me to wait an hour to get it fixed while they went on lunch. Refused to acknowledge me when I asked why they couldnt fill it now, turned their heads and looked away acting like i wasnt there and then yelled at me and then shut pharmacy door in my face. If I could give zero stars I would. Being the closest 24 hour pharmacy you would think they have their act together. They don't. It took four separate phone calls from us and three calls from our doctor for them to recognize that they had received our prescription order. The original order was placed at 12:30pm and the pick-up wasn't ready until after 5:30pm because of all their delays. Update! As of 5:30pm, the prescription is still not ready... no apology nothing... say they will get to it when they can... beyond unbelievable! read more

This location always messes up my prescriptions. I keep forgetting until it comes to t I always end up having to call and ask 3 days after a prescription is sent over if it's ready and they say oh weird yes it's been here, but I don't know why nobody has filled it. Then proceed to ask if they can put me on hold make me hold for 20 minutes transfer my call to another Walgreens location... who gets confused why I got transferred just like myself... they transfer me back and then this Walgreens proceeds to hang up on me... then mysteriously I get a notification I know actually do have a prescription in process there... I'm changing pharmacies the whole putting me on hold, making me call to ever get anything filled, getting hung up on/transferred with no warning, all very unprofessional. Update: I received a call back that day in apology to explain the issue saying my doctor had put the wrong date on when my prescription was supposed to be picked up putting it for a different year, they said they would call him. It's now been a whole week and nothing resolved. I do find the pharmacy should be more responsible with communicating with doctors and they seem incredibly disorganized. I shouldn't have to constantly call to get this sorted out, if they had the right checks and balances in place. This place is a mess and I still don't have my meds. Between the bizarre parking lot which makes me go into a tizzy thinking I'll bump into something... or someone - and the residual odor that begins in the back of the store permeating through the rest makes this a Walgreens location I try to avoid. Yes, it's your basic Walgreens with a pharmacy, basic beauty counter, snacks, etc. But, really. Trust me on my two points made above. Both stars go towards the staff - they are kind and helpful. I have always had a strong sense of trust when it comes to the pharmacy at 15th and Lewis. Things can get hectic and chaotic, and mistakes do happen (although very very rarely), but the team that works there understands the importance of detail when filling a prescription. I think sometimes people forget that a lot of things are out of the control of the employees and pharmacists, as insurance and errors on other parts hinder them from completing every task and step required of filling a prescription. read more

The store is clean and well organized. The late night crew was very helpful and again they come through tonight. I was looking for a special battery for a small motion detector which didn't match any of the batteries on the shelf. We look up a cross reference for the Battery. With the help of the night shift manager Ryan and the young lady that works the front cash restaurant. We were able to find the battery that worked in my front door motion detector. How can anyone feel comfortable when young men are hanging out at the front counter (not buying anything or looking at anything) acting like they want to say something to you when you pass through them to check-out? Uncomfortable!!!!!!! Then go outside and more young men hanging out in front of the door. Homeless old dudes are everywhere and always asking for money. I won't go to this one anymore. I cannot stand this Walgreens. I have given them so many chances and they never get better. For one, they are always crazy busy, which is no excuse bc a lot of Walgreens locations are, but that is a factor in why my medications are never ready on time and why I stand in line for a long time. Even if there's just one or two cars ahead of you at the drive thru, count on waiting at least 10-15 mins. The technicians are often rude and incompetent too. This was the rudest experience I have ever had at a Walgreens, a friend and I were looking makeup and using some of the testers at the nxy area. The woman who was running the makeup counter there, comes up to us and tells us that we can't use the testers and informed us that she couldn't sell that product anymore; she accused us of taking the product out of the box when we didn't. Needless to say we won't be coming back to this location I have never been so offended I felt profiled and looked down upon for looking at makeup. read more

Standard Walgreen selection, very clean store, the employee who checked me out was very friendly, and I was able to find everything I was looking for. Hours are good, I stopped in for cold meds fairly late, and was able to get in and get out in less than 5 minutes. And had a good night sleep from my Walgreen's brand cough syrup, so an overall win! read more

DO NOT get your id/passport photos taken here. DO NOT listen to the employee when he says chin up. You turn out looking like a troll and they don't bother showing or asking you if you're satisfied with the pic before printing it. The employee literally took the photo, disappeared to print it, and made you pay before giving you the envelope. read more
