This location's management definitely needs to teach their employees how to treat customers. I was trying out concealers when a sales associate asked if I needed help. I politely told her no and she walked away as I continued to try on a concealer. She then walks near me and tells me that putting makeup on a dirty face with dirty hands won't help me look good. What the fxck! She proceeds to go on and I had to abruptly end the conversation by telling her that I go to a dermatologist. This was a pretty bad experience. I had an appointment to get an everyday makeover and they kept me waiting for half an hour after my appointment was meant to start. The makeup artist was nice and very skilled, but she did not do what I asked for. I told her I was getting my photo taken and I wanted a natural look. I just wanted my skin to be smooth and without redness. Instead, she put on heavy, dark eyeshadow and dark lipstick. I asked for a shade of pink but she put on a darker red. The style of eyeshadow she used made my eyes look very narrow, but I didn't have time to have my makeup redone before my photo shoot (maybe I would have if we started on time). After a horrible dye job, I went to Ulta and met with Julius. I've FINALLY found my stylist here and I couldn't be happier! I went in distressed and worried my hair would come out badly damaged after so many processes in such a short time, but it's absolutely amazing! I'm so happy with the outcome and even more happy I've found a stylist who I can trust! I had to get an all over color to fix the previous mistake- then true balayage (the highlights were individually, hand painted on my hair). My hair came out better than the original photo I showed for inspiration- which has NEVER happened! So happy and will be a repeat customer! read more

I just got my brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar. Stephanie took care of me, and she was amazing! I initially went in for a pencil and while she was helping me choose a color I mentioned that I needed to get my brows done. She told me that she could do it right there. Stephanie was friendly, precise, and attentive. The rest of the store had great selection, but it was sloppy. They should have someone on the floor to constantly straighten up instead of following me around. read more

Avoid at all costs. Just Yikes... I was really excited to come to this big Ulta but ended up just going home to order online. Out of stock of everything, none of the employees want to help, the security guard just followed me around though the store was packed and filled with so many people. The clinique worker was just so off putting and stuck up for no reason ugh absolute terror. The only nice employee was a Mac girl can't remember her name but she went out of her way to help me find out if there were anymore Anastasia lipsticks which they didnt but she helped my experience. Went to do my make up there yesterday for a wedding and paid $60 and it looked horrible like crap. My skin was dry and patchy after foundation. She didn't clean my skin or eyes before applying makeup. Paid extra for eyelashes that she applied and they stayed on 2 hours. I had to leave the wedding to go buy eyelash glue. She took forever to apply lipstick witha brush and I told her to just stop. She doesn't contour well. I couldn't even see the contour. The highlight didn't show nor did the blush. I asked for pink and she put light brown My face just looked patchy and dirty. My skin looked horrible and my under eyes were disgusting showing creases and dark circles. My skin which is normally good looked a mess and like I was 10 years older. I am a rogue member at sephora and could have had free makeup application but decided to try them. You don't get any products. MAC and Sephora include makeup application with $50+ purchase but I paid got nothing but a shittt make up look. Had to put my own make up on in the car before the wedding and looked way better. I went into the Yonkers ulta last night to pick up a few things. Aside from there being no one out on the sales floor to assist and it not being as organized as the other ulta stores that I have been to I still found what I was looking for with help of a friend that came with me.. I wasn't even going to write a review about that because honestly I was in and out and it was fine.. the only reason why I really wanted to write this review is because CHOLE the girl who rang me up seems like she does not 1 friendly bone in her body did not greet costumers and had a really bad I'm too good to be here attitude while ringing you up... but what really bothered me was the fact that while she was ringing me up she waited until her female coworker who was working right beside her right to turn her back for 2 seconds to start talking bad about her appearance and laughing to the security guard saying she would never do that to herself but he paid her no mind to her comments... I found it completely sad and honestly disgusting how she was able to shame her co worker behind their back in front of costumers... this wasn't my first bad experience at this ulta because of Chloe and from comments below it happens more than often. Someone should speak to her about work and people educates it doesn't hurt to be friendly to the people who are spending money at this store and it doesn't hurt to keep your bad comments about others to yourself. read more
