We were a little concerned about the leak so we reached out to our home insurance provider for help. After making a request for service we were paired with Paradigm Roofing. Ryan Bridges our point of contact reached out to us and was very prompt about setting a schedule to come out to see the leak. Ryan came out to our home on Christmas morning to do his assessment. He was quite friendly and explicitly clear about what he intended to do. I also particularly liked that he was genuinely conversational. During his visit Ryan did a thorough assessment of the damage both internally and externally. Earlier in 2024 we had experienced very heavy hail and we had damages that we were unaware of. Ryan's assessment provided details of all these damages including the primary reason we had requested service. At the end of his visit Ryan took the time to explain to us exactly what he had observed. He talked us through the next steps in the process and talked about what he intended to put in his report to our insurance provider. In the days that followed Ryan was very diligent about keeping us informed about his report and his communication with the insurance company. We really appreciated his soft touch since we were both very concerned about the cost of the repairs. After Ryan got word from the insurance pending their review of his report, he set up an in person meeting so he could walk us through everything. Ryan's preferred approach is to speak in person and he would drive almost 40 miles from his office to our home to come speak with us. This happened on several occasions. Ryan always provided detailed documentation and walked us through the figures for the scope of work, the different approaches and expected results. This level of detail made my wife and I feel very secure and sure about the decisions we were about to make. Before starting work on the roof we needed approvals from our HOA and needed to submit several documents specific to the scope of work. Ryan as always was keen and prompt in preparing those documents and getting them to us in a timely manner to file our application. Like the insurance report, we were approved immediately without any issues questions or concerns by our HOA. Ryan and his team were true to their word and schedule every step of the way. On the day of the repairs they promised to be at the house at the break of dawn and true to word they were. The team explained everything that was going to happen. They discussed safety and how they planned to approach everything and kept us informed every step of the way. They were also always available if we had questions. As promised the completed the full replacement of our roof along with all clean up on the same day. The entire service provided by Paradigm Roofing was truly exemplary! The project took 4 1/2 weeks from the day they started the kitchen demo. Note in the before photos that we had fur downs & square recessed lights both of which they removed giving us taller upper cabinets & adjustable brightness LED canned lights. We also had them replaced the square lights in our living room & swap the floodlights in our family room's canned lights for the same adjustable LEDs. The general contractor did a really great job of managing the project & has several great subs that he has worked with long term (cabinets, countertops, & tile/backsplash) for work that his own staff doesn't focus on (1/2 of whom are his family). Very high quality work with an attention to detail including bringing any issues to our attention so that they can be addressed (e.g., leaking faucet in the laundry room). Very reasonable pricing & they were agreeable to us adding on extra things like replacing the switches & outlets outside of the kitchen area with the same square modern ones that were put in our "new" kitchen. We are also having them paint the paneling in our family room as a separate project that they will do this week. We will absolutely call them first for any future projects. The whole story is below, but in a nutshell he provided awful work, make all kinds of excuses as to why it was like that (which were lies because I had the work redone by someone else and it came out perfect), ripped out his work, damaged my brand new tub in the process, then ignored me when I told him about the damage. So basically I paid him $2000 (the deposit that he kept after all of this) to waste my time, stress me out, and put in a tub that he damaged and that the other company I hired had to reset and re-level because he didn't even do that right. I spent so much more than if I would've just hired someone to do it right the first time, because I paid him $2,000, paid another remodeling company to redo the work, and hired a special restoration company that can't even get to my house for 3 weeks to fix the tub that he damaged. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!! I hired him to install a bathtub and tile around it. When he was finished I was horrified. The grout lines were different sizes, uneven and crooked, multiple tiles hanging off the wall, jagged sloppy cuts, and crooked corners. The tile wall was hanging half an inch off my wall with the sloppiest caulk between it. He planned the layout so poorly that he put these tiny slivers of tile in the corner of one side which looked ridiculous. When I pointed these things out he made excuses and said he was going to come the next day because he needed 20 minutes to add more grout. I told him 20 minutes and some grout were not going to fix these issues. He said the tiles were not flat and straight because of the kind of tile we used had textured backing. The tiles he used were sent to me by him. He said the back tile wall was so far off my wall because that's just the way my wall is but the other company got it right next to the wall. Everything he said was debunked by the professionals who fixed his shoddy work. He used green board instead of cement board. A quick google search will tell you how putting green board in a shower is not a good idea. He said he could give me a $500 discount off the total price to keep it as is or keep my $2000 deposit and rip out the tile for someone else to redo it. I picked option 2 because I could not look at that work, I did not trust it would hold up, not leak and not create issues for me in the near future. I figured at least I had the tub put in and at least I don't have to deal with him anymore. Two days later he comes to rip out the tile. He was SO shady. He closed the door the whole time and I hear him say something along the lines of "well they want a challenge". At the end they were taking trash out and out of nowhere I hear Josh already half way out the door yelling "ok we're done". I glanced over it making sure there were no big holes in my wall or anything and yelled thank you from the bathroom as he left. The day before the other company came in I went in to make sure everything was clean and cover up the tub and saw a big chip in it, so I inspected the tub and saw other damages to it. I sent him a text to let him know so he could refund me the amount it would be to fix the tub HE damaged and he ignored me. I honestly wasn't even going to write this review. I HATE writing bad reviews but I don't want anyone else to deal with this headache. At a distance his work could be mistaken as decent but close up it was terrible. Think about that when reading other reviews and looking at other photos. Another company came and redid the job. They talked to me about the plan, how the tiles would be set up, asked me questions, gave me suggestions, used high quality materials, used high quality tools, two people worked on the job and finished in half the time. My bathroom looks PERFECT! DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!!!
