Wow you don't run into the type of guy like Tony especially in SoCal. I asked for a dent removal and he came to my house promptly but didn't charge me anything. REALLY?!??! Tony said it wasn't that big of a deal for him to charge me. He said he did window chip repair as well and it so happened that my daughter's window was chipped. TL;DR: -Don't be like me and try to do headlight restoration yourself. Pay someone to do it. -Dave is amazing. Story Time - I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla that has served me well. I don't know why or how but my headlights started getting foggy. At first it didn't bother me but as time has gone by they get foggier and foggier. So this past Sunday - I have had enough. So I did what any typical guy would do - did my little research and I'm posting this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXHTXdlWw1w (unhelpful) but I tried the toothpaste thing because it's cheap and looked like it does a good job on certain vehicles. Followed the instructions but bam - see pictures below. It oxidated them even further! Light wouldn't even go through making it very dangerous to drive at night. I wanted to continue doing it myself but as I have learned from past experience on some of my projects - I admitted defeat and sought help. I found a couple people via Yelp and called them up and none would answer. Dave however called me back 5 min after my call and told me he was held up but could help me out. I scheduled the appointment right away. Not going to lie - I was very skeptical because I had fudged these lights up but he explained the process and I felt confident he would do a good job. He arrived today at our scheduled time and gave me a head up he was here. (Important to note that you need to make sure you have access to water and electricity, since I didn't have either since I lived in an apt. But, I filled a bucket and used my car to power his tools). An hour later - BAM - look at those lights. Literally looks like they were pulled out of the dealer. Dave was so professional and kind. But the quality speaks for itself. I called Ultimate Dent Removal week prior and spoke to Dave. He quoted me a reasonable price to remove a dent on front left fender of my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. We set appointment up for following week. Not sure how many reviews are real on Yelp anymore. Gave these guys a call after seeing all the great reviews. Left a voicemail to setup an appointment. Never heard back. Two days later I called back and setup an appointment. Confirmed the appointment and address via phone and text the day before. Took off work to wait for them to arrive at my place. 30 minutes after they were supposed to show up, I gave them a call. Guy claimed that I never gave him the address, then claimed he was running late, he was all over the place. I just cancelled after he said it would take him a while to drive down from LA (I'm in Newport Beach, where the business is listed as being). When I looked up the address this business has listed, it's a rented mailbox. I met these two brothers in the parking lot of McDonald's. One is a professional auto technician at Honda. They saw the dent in my car hood and gave me an estimate of $100 to take the dent out of my hood. I had pro estimates from another mobile auto body restoration outfit for $700. They have a professional tool kit and did the work on the spot. Took 10 minutes. Did not quite get it as good as it made out so i only paid them $80. I feel it was a good value for me money. I called to have a pretty major dent repaired on the wheel well of my Camaro trying to save a few bucks by not going to a body shop. Dan met me at my work and was able to fix the dent on site and I didn't have to take off at all. He spent a solid 4 hours on just the one dent, and gave me a good deal to fix another small ding on my door that I didn't even know could be fixed.
