My Tesla doesn't even have 500 miles, so I was very selective in trying to eradicate the scratches imposed upon my hood by an empty cardboard box that fell from the rafters and slid painfully down the hood. Ding Me was able to provide a binding quotation via phone photos, and Chris even shared his personal cell phone to expedite the process. They did a remarkable job removing the scratches, and I figured I would ceramic my driver's and passenger side windows. Ding Me matched the color identically, and it looks fantastic. During the scratch repair they missed a very small spot where the hood ornament was an obstruction. However, once I pointed this out to Chris he got me back in the next day and they made it perfect. I just picked up our Honda Civic that Chris fixed. I text him photos of the ding to get a quote. He was honest and told me that he can make it look 80% better, not perfect due to the location of the ding (by the fender and body line crease). I've asked other dent repair places and was told that I need to take it to an auto body shop and they can't fix it (I was quoted some ridiculous amount by an auto body shop). But they were not Chris. He fixed it 90-95% and I am happy with the result. I can barely see it. He works out of Saddleback Smog &Repair so you can drop off and pick up your car during shop hours. Had a little problem backing out of my garage before the door was entirely opened and needed to get it fixed quickly as I am returning my car on a lease. I wasn't sure if a paintless repair place could do it, but with all the positive reviews for Ding Me I gave them a call. Chris called me right back and asked me to send him pictures, he told me that my dent would need to be fixed the traditional way (meaning not paintless), but they are a full service body shop too. Anyway, took him the car the next day, had him fix a few other scratches while it was in there and got the car back in less than a week. I messaged Chris the owner about a chip on the passenger door of my truck. After sending him pictures he assured me he could fix it. Obviously you can only see so much from a picture. He called me the same day I dropped it off and let me know the process he was going to do on the chip because of where it was at I would not be happy with the final product nor would he be happy with it. He asked if I could leave my truck an extra day so he could fix it the right way. He ended up having to paint the whole door and it came out better then new. I was in a rental car and had a minor collision with another vehicle - needed the bumper repaired and didn't want to report it to my insurance and have to pay the deductible. So, I thought I would try to find a body shop who could fix it for me quickly and inexpensively. I looked on Yelp, and after reading several reviews for several body shops, I called Chris because his reviews reassured me that he would be honest and do a good job. He asked me to text him pics of the damage - I sent them over and he said that he could do it in an hour for about $150. I brought the car in and when he had a chance to look at it closer, he could see punctures in the body so said it would cost a little more. I completely understood because pics don't always show details. I needed my car back within 24 hours so I could go to my daughter's graduation from Hope Int'l. University - he committed to me he would do it and HE DID - he was actually done early!!! As a footnote, I have been dealing with C&W Paint and Body in Costa Mesa (horrible body shop!!!!) for 2 months trying to get my car done and returned to me - so I don't have a lot of trust when it comes to body shops. But, I gave Chris a chance - and he renewed my faith!!! Not only did I find a great body shop, but I also found a new mechanic at Saddleback Auto &Smog that is affiliated with Chris' company - I feel so fortunate! There are SO MANY dishonest mechanics and body shop guys out there, it is so wonderful to finally find people I can trust to do a good job in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost!!!!
