Well, who would've known it was my worst day ever!!! I went in for a touch up and blend in instead she just touched up on my gray hair and dark as F@£€ hair! The lady's name was Ana. Maybe there's other hairstylists that work there and might be good. Unfortunately I was desperate since my regular hairdresser was out of town. My recommendation is not to let Ana work on your hair her thick as glasses was a red flag, she don't see colors right... I can't even post pictures, that's how bad it is. No more thing, money wasn't an option I know it expensive to get your hair done she changed me $90. Hey I would've gave her a good as tip on top of that but I feel as she didn't deserve that! read more

So let me begin by saying I am an absolute fan of Yelp. When I want good food, I only go to the highest rated restaurant and order what is highly recommended. And when I want to look beautiful and feel comfortable, I spend months trying to find the best place and the right PERSON to do the job. For the past few years I've been trying to look for a new salon to call my own, one where I think, "Time to call my hairstylist to fix up my hair." I spent the last 5 years of my life spending way too much money and getting results for my hair that made me question whether I've been doing something wrong when I tell the stylist what I want. I bring photos, I reference actresses that have the hair I want, I have been told by the highest rated people, "That's great hon, but the honest truth is that that look would not suit your face." That was at least what my last stylist said before Tammy. He said that, and the trust I had in yelp, the 800 reviews and the comments mentioning his name, led to trust him and have the worst haircut I've had in my entire life. Girls who want long hair, you know how hard it is to go in for a trim and come out of it with half the hair you came in with. That's what happened to me. He didn't give me the layers I wanted... But instead left it choppy all around my head. The next weekend I had to go to my boyfriends cousins wedding. When my boyfriends family saw me they told me I needed to fix my hair, the day of the wedding conveniently. They brought me to Ultimate Salon and I honesty felt like a dog being brought into the vets office because the location is not fancy like the places yelp had been taking me to, and to be frank, my feelings had been hurt too consistently by the people that worked with my hair. I showed her at least 10 different photos of Hillary Duff and told her how important it was for my to keep the length of my hair. We came in and they kept talking about how we needed to come in with an appointment. They kept saying a 9am client was about to come in but she didn't come in till like 10am.....they burned my hair because they wanted to hurry up for this person......i would think they would like 4 new clients but their attitude seriously showed they could do without us......also, the hairstyle they did for me was falling apart within 30 min of it being done.....i asked nicely if they could fix it but my hairstylist really couldn't be bothered.....i had to come home to fix it.....took me less that 5 minutes......i shouldn't have to fix something a "professional" should be doing 100 times better than me.....Carlos the makeup man was nice and really made my mother look beautiful.....but honesty, these "professionals" have no business doing hair if they burn it just to rush through people......they complained the whole time ......apparently walk ins are NOT welcomed......and they really don't impress in their styling...... read more
