I took my daughter here 3 years ago for a cleaning and never took her back. At 8 years old, they explained nothing to her before putting things in her mouth as she's visibly scared. The staff explained nothing to me, as the parent, until I asked very pointed questions about how her teeth looked and what the next steps should be. My husband just had 3 teeth removed today and was met with hostility and extremely poor bedside manner from the dentist himself after he arrived only 5 minutes late. After being asked directly about his demeanor, the dentist explained he was upset that he arrived 5 minutes late and he has other clients to see. Consistent unprofessional demeanors. So my teeth did not bother me at all whatsoever before coming here. I only needed a chipped tooth fixed in the front and a filling fixed that came out from a previous dentist (only a few months ago)...yet here I was told I had multiple fillings that needed to be done, mind you I was just at a different dentist and had no cavities. I left thinking when it was time to come back for my fillings I would be getting just the Chipped tooth fixed, and the multiple fillings on the bottom left that was discussed. I did not know nor was I told at that visit that I had cavities on the top teeth... so when I came in for my fillings and they asked me "which ones I was going to be doing today" I was a little confused, they explained I had like 2 on one side up top and like 3 on the other... I told them I was completely unaware of this, but since I was having my 1top front tooth fixed I told them go ahead and fix the others on the top. Worst mistake. Dr.Singh comes in and asked why I requested to have the numbing without the epinephrine.. I explained it makes me have heart palpitations, he seemed super annoyed with that answer and explained how the epinephrine helps it to absorb faster and "now we have to wait for this numbing to kick in" so I said "well that's fine I can't have the one with the epinephrine", he proceeded to shove needles into my mouth 2 on each side, 5 days later my mouth still hurts from the needles, to even touch my face lightly it hurts. I've NEVER had that happen from dental numbing. THEN he drills out all the teeth and then has some guy (I don't know his name) and fill everything(alone) initially this man was nice and talked the entire time but somehow didn't correctly fill my teeth. I left thinking my teeth were fixed but when the numbing went down, and I could feel my teeth with my tongue, I could quite literally feel the damage to my teeth that was not filled in correctly or even at all and I now have pain every single time I eat or drink anything at all on BOTH sides! So I called them the next day and they agree to get me right in to have it looked at, it was going into a weekend and I could not make it until Monday. Unfortunately, my daughter is disabled from a drunk driver and was rushed into the hospital over the weekend so I sat in pain over the weekend with her fighting for her life then Monday I had to drive two hours 1 way to get to this dentist appointment that I should have never had to go to if they did their jobs correctly to begin with. When I got there, I was polite and I just asked if I could just have the doctor do the work on me and that I did not want the same guy, but somehow when I was called back to the room. The doctor came in. He took a look he made me feel like I was wrong even though I know I'm not, then he called the same guy in to do the fillings again. .... I was actually calm and I was going to allow this to happen so I said to the guy that "I didn't realize that my teeth needed to be fixed because my mouth was numb and I couldn't tell until the numbing wore off" ...his exact words in a arrogant tone were " your tongue wasn't numb" I remained calm, even though I was very caught off guard at this response and I said "I understand that, but my mouth was very numb and I couldn't really feel what it felt like until the numbing went away". He then repeated " OK, but your tongue wasn't numb" I said "I know, but I couldn't feel it until The numbing went away" and He continued to say it again!!!! then I decided it was time to be a bi*** back to him.... I told him I thought he was effing Ignorant and disrespectful, Then he dead ass looked in my face and say "are you OK?" Lol boy if you only knew.. Anyways, I wasn't given much of a choice. My insurance sucks, my mouth was hurting, And I had to get back to my daughter, so I allowed him to fix the mess, My mouth still hurts on both sides like I said I had no pain at all whatsoever before and I didn't even know I had a cavity. Some of the staff members were nice, and others weren't so much. They weren't mean but they definitely weren't friendly, very cold demeanor. I could barely understand the main doctor because he had an accent and spoke very quietly. Also got charged $100 up front because the receptionist said he wouldn't even see me without them getting X-rays in that office. After an exam and cleaning,they gave me a list of work that apparently needs done and it adds up to about $8,000 out of pocket. I don't recommend this place. The staff is mostly friendly, especially the receptionist, but two of the workers started yelling at each other right outside of where I was getting my cleaning, it was very unprofessional. I switched dentists for my children, due to things being ignored or not noticed during their visits at their previous denstist. We started going to Dr Singh and he treats my children great and is patient and gentle with them. He even checked out a tooth that was bothering me while I was there for my son getting a root canal. He is 12 years old and was comfortable with no complaints during the procedure. The dental assistants are great too and really help ease your nerves and make you comfortable ! read more

No stars! Someone very important to me was treated very poorly by Dr.Singh! She went to inquire about dentures due to ongoing dental issues. She is in constant pain, trust me we live together! While there she stated that she would prefer to be asleep to have 20 teeth removed! The Doctor said out loud, "I thought you weren't afraid of needles! I can tell you that if it would have been my child, Dr.Singh would be the one in need of a dentist! Off topic, she then stated she was interested in having the infected tooth that has been hurting terribly for days out today! When he heard that he wasn't going to get to pull out all her teeth 5min after having her first conversation about getting dentures. He refused to treat her and she was asked to leave. If not for the dental assistant, she would not have been given the prescription for antibiotics so her infected tooth doesn't sicken her further! Do not go to these butchers. I went in to fix a chipped tooth. They said I had many cavities to fix. I reluctantly agreed to have cavities only on one side of my mouth filled, at the same time as fixing the tooth. Then went I went in, the dentist came in, and without any small talk or explanation, proceeding to inject and numb BOTH sides of my mouth! At that point, I was freaked out, because clearly they are either not doing what they agreed to do, or don't know what they are doing. He drilled everywhere, and it still hurt. He asked if he was hurting me, I nodded *yes* and he just kept right on going. Then left me alone in the room, for a very long time. The two people who finally came in (were they dental assistants? other dentist? They did not introduce themselves) looked at my chart and seemed confused and asked ME which parts of my mouth had been numbed. The entire time they were working, they were talking back and forth to each other in front of me, questioning what they were doing, complaining about the size of my mouth, complaining about the materials they were using. They were *very* rough while flossing, then complained about the floss. At the end, the way my teeth bit down felt completely weird and unnatural, like only two teeth were touching. I mentioned this, and she drilled a tooth down some more, but not the ones that touched. It still felt wrong at the end. They said, "There, your cavities are filled!" I asked was my chipped tooth repaired, and they didn't know what I was talking about: said they didn't know which tooth was chipped; they just came in and filled things, apparently without having been apprised of what they were about to do, or communicating with anyone at all. When I got home, I rinsed my mouth out with water, and a CHUNK of another tooth broke off. I was in shock. Then, ALL OF my teeth have basically been in agony. My jaw is throbbing. If I drink water or eat something, it's a sharp bright pain. My assumption is they didn't know which teeth they were working on, and drilled something down without refilling it again? I haven't even known what to do. I made an appointment with a different dentist to try to fix everything, because I am never coming back here again, and certainly don't trust them to fix what they messed up. What did they even do? I was experiencing *zero* pain before I went there. I only went in for one chipped tooth. Now I can barely eat or drink and I'm having pain at every moment of the day. I am horrified. This is the first time I have been motivated to actually make an account and leave a review, for anywhere. I just need to warn people. Also, apparently they charged me for a cleaning? For the first appointment, even though I certainly didn't request a cleaning, and I don't remember them cleaning anything. I'm starting to doubt if I had cavities to begin with, at all. I am very happy with the services at Ultra Dental. The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Singh is also great. I recently had to get a wisdom tooth extracted. I have had a few dental work done in my lifetime and taken a few Novocain injections by various dentist in multiple cities. This was by a round trip to Mars and back better than any experience I have had. I hardly felt the pinch of the injection, the tooth extraction went smoothly and I did not feel much pain once the anesthetic wore off. The recovery was great too. I almost could not believe I actually had a tooth extracted. That's testimony to Dr. Singh's skills. My kids also see him and he is great with them. The hygienist is also very thorough, quick and sweet. My only complaint would be the office timings (10 AM to 4 PM only). Since there are no Saturdays (not even once a month), or a late day (once a week -that you generally see at other places) its difficult to schedule an appointment and have to take take off work or kids out of school to get the appointment to work. Over all I would still recommend Dr. Singh, as the clinic feels like old world charm with personalized service. read more

Having to be transported by ambulance is not an easy feat, but Ultra Dental made it a pleasant experience for both my Mother and I. Don't go here. They are extremely rude. I was told that I needed a root canal and that my insurance wouldn't cover it but i could have my tooth pulled. No thank you i would rather pay $1000 and keep my tooth. I called my insurance and they said they do cover it and gave me a provider that could do it. When I called back to this office I let them know that I didn't appreciate how I was treated and asked them for a referral and to have my xrays sendto my new dentist. I called my new dentist and they didn't receive a referral. So I called back to Ultra dental and was told that they will not be sending a referral and they will not be sending my xrays. To me that is just extremely childish and unprofessional. I had one filling done in this office and there is a gap in the filling. They told me they were not going to re-do it, so I got it done somewhere else. Also, they said they did routine cleaning, but after 2 months of constant pain from the filling with the gap and finally going to another dentist, the new dentist had to redo the cleaning and said "there's no way they did annual cleaning on your teeth." read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going to this dentist. I was told I needed 2 root canals one on each side of my mouth. I agreed to this. Was told that I would be getting "Permanent" crowns. They put the crowns on. They were bigger than my original teeth. Looked terrible from the side. Before I could go back to get them fixed. One fell out and I swallowed it by mistake. I went back to get a replacement. They told me that my insurance no longer covered crowns for people over 18. The crown wasn't suppose to come off. It was permanent. So I walked around for about a year with half a tooth and a huge crown on the other side that looked terrible. I started having pain in the tooth with no crown. I went back and had to have my tooth pulled.Because I had no insurance. I have a huge hole where the molar should be. Shortly after this happening. My second large crown fell off also. I still have a small tooth where my original molar was. Less than half its size. It isn't giving me any problems but looks awful. Just last night the tooth in front of my missing crown tooth just fell out. Didn't hurt wasn't loose. Just broke off. I then remembered that they had drilled and filled this tooth the last time I was in there. It just cracked off because of the terrible job they did. Prior to all of this I had very little problems with my teeth. I don't even know why the root canals were needed. I thought they knew what they were doing. Went along with it. If I had seen the reviews I would have NEVER let them do it. Now I'm 48 years old and have 2 holes in the back of my mouth. Plus a half a molar. Making eating very difficult. When I went to this dentist. The dentist told me that I had 15 cavities and I just was at a previous dentist less than six months. When I had my molars filled the dentist just put a little whole in my molar and the filling came out less than a month later because it need filled again. I also had a cap put on it and less than a year later I had to get a root canal because it wasn't put on correctly and now I have to get my gum shaved to put another cap on because the dentist cut my original tooth to short. read more

My daughter arrived 5 minutes late for her 12:40 appointment. She was made to wait for 55 more minutes before being taken back for her appointment. I went to the receptionist and asked if we had made a mistake regarding her appointment time and I was told that we had the right time. When I asked why we had to wait for almost an hour, I was given several vague excuses including the "she was late for her appointment", and "we've been busy". The receptionist was smiling the entire time I was speaking to her. She didn't seem to care that I was upset. I had to leave at that time to pick up my wife from work and then return to pick up my daughter who I assumed would be a while. Miraculously after less than 15 minutes from the time she went to the back of the dentist's office, she was calling me to say she was finished and ready to be picked up. So, somehow, in under 15 minutes, they managed to examine her, clean her teeth, x ray them, the dentist read the x ray, and she was informed that she had a cavity and needed another appointment to take care of that. That's pretty fast for all that. My guess is that after I complained and left, they gave her the bum's rush just to get her out of there. If they were that fast with all their patients, then they wouldn't have been "running late" or "very busy" that day. While we waited, you could see several of the employees just walking around, chatting, and laughing with each other. They didn't appear to have anything to do. They didn't appear to be busy at all. Both my daughter and I were treated very rudely and unprofessionally by the staff of Ultra Dental and I sincerely doubt that they could have provided proper dental care to my daughter in that short amount of time. The staff all appear to be under the age of 25 and acted in a very immature manner. If that's what you like, then go here. If you want good dental care, then try somewhere else. It's a shame as she has been going here for several years and has received good care. It appears they recently changed staff / dentists and this is no longer a good place to go.
