I would like to say this without exaggeration. I bowled for 2 games and my lane continuously experienced maintenance issues. After walking up to employees and asking them 4-5times to reset the pins on our lane(5) because the machine froze, they decided to switch us to another lane(6). This lane also continued to break down 15-20 times completely ruining our night. I also ordered 2 sodas also took the employees 20mins to prepare and they forgot one, so I then had to return to the counter and ask for my other drink. Very poorly managed bowling alley. Amazing time! Planned my birthday for about 16 people and everyone had an amazing time. George was at the front there was a little discrepancy but he handled it very well for me. Security was so professional and nice. Spoke to everyone with respect, the team that handled our names and our food was great! Such an amazing turn out! Looking for some fun on date night. Found this place online. We arrived late-after 11PM. I was in the mood for booze and bowling. Cashier at the door said CASH ONLY...ugh! Hit the ATM on the wall. We were then searched and thoroughly pat down(so d*mn ghetto.) Once we got inside, it was cool. We received our janky bowling shoes and our lanes. Then we ordered drinks and food on the screens near our seat. My first drink of house tequila and tonic was weak! The next drink I ordered at the bar with the good stuff was wow! The mozzarella sticks were so crispy, cheesy and good. Most of the lanes were full but there was still a plenty of room to move around. The DJ was amazing! He smoothly transitioned from hip hop to r&b, afrobeats and then he treated the bowlers to a wonderful block of dancehall and reggae hits. The lanes were dark with low neon lighting. Big screen TVs lined the walls, hanging over each bowling pins section. My partner kicked my butt in bowling. We had big fun. I do wish that the staff would come through more often to spruce up the tables. I ordered hookah about a half hour in and it was niiice. Overall, my night at Ultra Lanes was pretty dope. So I came here with a group of maybe 12. It's about 1hr ride from BK, depending on traffic. They do have a parking lot. Go early or go late on Saturday it was packed!! All the equipment is suspect...not well kept at all. The shoes never again lawd!!! I see why people were wearing street shoes to bowl. That should tell you everything about this establishment. The balls all look like they were in a fight, all kinds of battle wounds not a smooth ball in the place. The lanes were not clean or polished. The people in my party ordered food and there were no complaints besides the lack of condiments. However, my chicken ranch sandwich which looked delicious had a hair in it. Extremely Disappointed - Longtime Customer Let Down I've been coming to this bowling alley since I was a kid--even when others in town warned it was sketchy, I always gave it the benefit of the doubt. But after tonight, I can confidently say this place has completely lost my business. After confirming lane availability before purchasing a Groupon, we made the trip out with friends from different towns, arriving around 9:15pm for a 2-hour session for 6 people. There were only two lanes being used, the place was empty, plenty of lanes available, yet we were turned away by "security" who rudely told us they were not accepting Groupons tonight due to the "holiday" it is Holy Thursday . No explanation on why it was not valid could not even name the holiday, no effort to accommodate us, and absolutely no professionalism. Also called and spoke to manger who claimed the Groupon "is not valid on thursdays" which is not stated on the Groupon only Friday and Saturday after 6pm. They close at 11pm--plenty of time for what we paid for--and instead of making any sort of deal or showing basic courtesy, we were met with nothing but attitude. All over a discount that saves maybe $9 a person? It wasn't about the money--it was the complete lack of respect for loyal customers. read more

Absolutely amazing the girls running the show are the sweetest there is. My family was up from down south during the Thanksgiving Weekend and we went, they couldn't be more accommodating. we had two hours of fun and like I said the girls working there couldn't be any nicer. It's a shame that I'm 3 minutes from this place and have been here 2 times in the past 10 years. Coworkers decided we should have a night out here and I agreed. This would've been a great choice if it didn't cost $25 pp to enter. ***make sure you use Groupon for discount admission***We paid $115 for 4 adults and one child. With discount 4 adults is only $40 and you get a game card, and bucket of popcorn. The difference in pricing is staggering and we learned our lesson. Other than that there were 5 lanes down on a Friday night so that means to me they have slow plans to make repairs. The game room had variety enough to keep a 11 year olds attention for about 15 minutes. A few sore hands, and fingers later, we left happy and truly enjoyed each other's company. I paid $398.86 for a bowling party via their online website, which included 2 hours of bowling, shoes, food and drinks on March 5th to be rendered on March 8th. Upon arrival I provided my ID to confirm my reservation and was informed I needed to show the physical credit card I used to book the party online, I did not have that credit card on me. I was then informed by the door attendant that my NYS driver's license was not enough to keep the reservation. I was then informed I could pay the money in cash to keep the reservation and my credit card purchase would be cancelled and my money refunded. I did not have that amount in cash so I confirmed with the door staff that my reservation would be cancelled and my guests and I could pay the $40 entrance fee and bowl that way and he confirmed and took our cash. I waited several days to see if my card would be charged back and it had not. I then called the bowling alley and spoke with Nicole. I informed Nicole of the above and she responded we do not give refunds so we won't be charging your card back, I can reschedule for a future date. I explained that I did not receive any of the services I paid for originally, I paid cash to bowl that night and my birthday is over I do not need to reschedule a party. I further inquired with her if I had of paid the door staff the cash they requested in order to keep my reservation, and then I would be paying twice. When questioned what if I paid the cash she responded, "I don't know what to tell you but we don't do refunds". I then stated that is robbery, your charging me for services I did not receive and you are being informed that your door staff gave false information while attempting to pocket $400 cash and you have no empathy whatsoever. That is a ridiculous business practice and back service, especially since the charges went through online several days prior. This place needs a face lift. I went on a Saturday evening and with my husband and it was empty. One bowling ball had a whole in it and the place looks run down. Their Parmesan fries were soggy and tasted horrible. My husband actually slipped on the lane and fell. I know employees saw because no one else was in there and no one came to check on him. I appreciate the hard working bartenders. Went Saturday night 2/27/2021, packed night, all lanes were open, the bar/waiters and waitresses did their thing ! Ordering from the kiosk, the servers didn't have us wait long for food and drinks. They did have a line outside, I suggest making reservations. Security & bag checks, temperature checks are a thing. By far the worst bowling alley I've ever been to. $30 for 100 minutes of bowling with shoe rental included seems like a good deal but the lanes are complete TRASH. Lanes looked like they weren't polished in years. If you want to throw the ball down with bumpers go ahead. If you want to actually practice the sport go somewhere else. We came here recently with a groupon deal to bowl for 2 hours and the experience wasn't THAT bad. Yes, it's true that this place is old-looking, run-down and in need of a major make over. The machines were old, the couches behind the lanes were all ripped up and probably dirty, the arcade ... well it's insulting to call it an arcade and there were barely any people inside bowling. With all that negativity, the lane we were in operated perfectly fine and we never ran into any issues, which is all we want when we bowl. I wouldn't be rushing to come back here to throw any parties, but if you're just into bowling and really want a more isolated experience bowling, then Baldwin is made for you. Sadly this place has become a horror show as far as bowling is concerned. The owners care more about trying to use the place as a party place than about the lanes and equipment. There are burn marks on the lanes from hookah parties held here. The lanes themselves will tear apart your bowling ball! The horrific condition of the lanes and machinery rip huge chunks out of the ball every time it's used on the lanes. Every league that used to bowl here has left, showing that no one that actually cares about the game of bowling will use this place. I came here with my family on a Friday evening. This is my first time at this bowling alley but not a first for some members of my family. We were told that we had to pay $25 to enter in the alley. I don't believe we had to pay to bowl or for shoes but even if you were not bowling, each person had to pay $25. There is an open bar but drinks are about $11 each. They do have the option for a fish bowl for $40 but it is not worth it because it is mostly juice. We ordered a slider platter that was about $30. The burgers were brunt but the fries were okay. The lanes were in good condition but to be honest on a Friday night most people were not focused on bowling. On the weekend in the evening, this place appeals to crowded around 18-25. The music is really good and I think that is why a lot younger people flock to this place. Honestly, I have not decided if I will return back to this place yet.I felt really old there and I'm only in my late twenties. Most people were dressed like they were going to the club. The one positive is that the music was really good; the played a lot of hip hop, R&B, soca, and reggae. I know for sure I would never order food from their again when there is a Wendy's down the block. read more

Terrible. Never go here. I booked a family plan for New Year's Eve and they blasted rap with lots of racial slurs and curse words the entire time. We bought glow necklaces and glasses and nope, they didn't have glasses and the necklaces didn't glow. Bought a an active coupon prior to visit (same day) the manager would not accept the coupon and said "you're the second person with this we keep trying to take it down , sorry you can't redeem it" this coupon was pre purchased and paid for. Have to pay again for same thing. We were then told to go to ours assigned lane . The entire place is dirty and looking like it hasn't been updated in 20years. The lanes were poorly maintained . If I can give this alley zero stars I would. my family and I come here often and never had an issue. Decided to have an even here and the management from owner down was completely unprofessional. Rich, William, and Brenda were condescending, lacked accountability and money hungry. Justin was about to accommodate however we are every disappointed in how the event turned out due to their lack of professionalism and respect. To management, next time you are working with paying customers who is spending thousands of dollars in your establishment, learn to look them in the eye and directly address a problem when they are trying to work with you to fix a problem. Overtalking (Brenda), lack of accountability and avoiding the customer (Richard) was extremely rude and made this experience horrible especially even when said customer is in event planning and was respective and proactive. This goes without saying but you have lost great customers and surely will lose a lot more with this unacceptable behavior and actions. read more

long review!! ... So I wanted to throw my sister a surprise bowling party but was yo-yoing between this alley and another one. I called to speak with Brenda and Marrisa whom was in charge of the party planning for a large group. They were very accommodating, friendly and had amazing patience. She answered her phone no matter the time we literally called her up asking a whole bunch of questions at 10pm she picked up and she answered all of them without getting frustrated once. We literally talked to her and booked so close to the event and they still was able to accommodate our party of 25 guest last minute, for that Customer service was 10 out of 10! We went there on a Saturday one of their busiest night and was not one complaint the staff was kind to all of my guest as well as myself. We had an AMAZING time, hookah was flowing they had more than enough to accommodate our large group. We had at least 5 hookah's in our section also saw everyone else enjoying hookah in their section as well definitely enough to go around comfortably throughout the packed out alley. On another the note the girl that was serving the food she was the bomb.com very helpful went above her job to make sure we had an amazing time I'm definitely gonna call up and get her name she needs her flowers!! Found this place through Groupon. I took my niece and nephews to spend a couple of hours bowling. From the time we entered, I just wanted to turn around and leave. However, the kids wanted to stay. To start off the shoes were so old and worn. The food was terrible. We moved from one lane to the other one because the one we were using stopes working. The new one would not record the scores which was frustrating at times. The table was so dusty, and had a piece of cloth on the floor. They didn't have alcoholic beverages. The men's bathroom was in construction (I think) and one bathroom was used for both. To their credit, it seemed that that bathroom had been remodeled. Anyway, if they are remodeling the place, please ensure everything is clean or at least working. Would return only if it has been remodeled and with new management. read more

I was told by the manager Daniel he would speak to the owner and call me back. Daniel never called me back. I followed up the next day & was told they weren't accepting the Groupons. You can bring your whole Family and this place will accept your money to let them bowl and to feed them but they won't respect Family values with the music that their D.J. is instructed to play. I told the D.J. that more Children were present than Adults so can he play a clean mix or bleep out the profanities but he said "the owners/management want that type of music played after a certain time or they will find another D.J." . Terrible!! Run away from this place. Took five kids on Sunday made a reservation online for 130 when we arrived the blowing alley did not open until 2. Only one employee to manage the whole establishment. After playing for 15 mins our lane would not re-rack had to wait 10 mins for help started playing again and same issue after waiting another 10 mins we were moved to another lane which was broken ... no food or drinks at the establishment we had to leave because kids were thirsty and hungry and we weren't allowed to bring food in.
