0 stars is the real rating..imagine paying $30 to bowl and you are given shoes with holes in it where you can see your socks. it was a size 3. i was offered a 3.5 and it was more decent looking. i will never come back here. i didn't know taking one shoe of your own was still a thing, very much outdated..i don't think anyone would steal shoes with holes in it.. i felt uneasy being there and only stayed to hang out with my friends because i didn't want to feel like $30 was out the window, but that is how it felt anyways..very ghetto.. read more

First time going here. The place is decent looking. It was packed when we went. You had to wait to be called. They give you a beeper that flashes when it's your turn to play. You're allowed 2 games per session. We played 2 games and ordered food. The food was alright, nothing that makes you want to get seconds unless you're really hungry. Stopped by on Presidents' Day for a night time bowl with my kids. Tried 5 other bowling alleys and they were packed for the night. Found the Bowling Center and thought we'd try it. It was big enough that even though there were a lot of people, there were still open lanes. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. This will be our FIRST stop next time we want to bowl. The only reason I gave 4, and not 5, stars is for the price but looking at local alleys, they are all similarly priced. read more

Went there the other night . We used Groupon so the price wasn't too bad. The bowling part is a little old and outdated. If you want bumpers for one person , everyone has to have bumpers. Other than that nothing was broken in our lane so that was good. The arcade machines 3 that I know of broke mid use. The employee are nice and try to accommodate the broken machines but not much he could do. To reload the card machine is by the men's room... DEAR LORD THE SMELL!! The smell came out and kicks you in the face! It was terrible! My biggest complaint!! The smell. Also, they should train their employees especially stuff that has to do with the arcade. I came here on a date with my boyfriend and we had a good time. People are a little too critical when it comes to this bowling alley. It was clean and nice. Perhaps, it just went through renovation. It was big and it had great music while playing. They had a bar and a food stand. It was $16 pp to bowl for two games and shoe rental. It was a nice experience and it had a big parking lot. The staff could have been a little better though. Took us 10 mins to get our shoes back because nobody was helping the lady at the front desk. We ordered the wings platter which was good. The place is disgusting. It's run down. My group and I were told we would be seated after an hour wait, which was expected because it was saturday night and we got seated after almost 2 hours. Such a great time. My friends and I went on a weekend night around 10pm and didn't expect much based off the surrounding store fronts. However we were greatly surprised. $20 for 2 hours of bowling with the shoe rental included. There was a love di who played a variety of music and the alley itself had a very "alive" feel to it. Upon arrival my family and I were greeted by two rude security guards who treated us like we were criminals instead of customers just wanting to bowl. You'd have to wonder what the clientele is like if you need to get patted down and frisked at the entrance of a bowling alley in a suburban middle class neighborhood. This place gives Baldwin a bad name. if they need that much security, maybe they should refocus on attracting other clientele. I had my daughters birthday party here and I was disgusted. The place is nice and the customer service is extraordinary until the day of the event! My guest left hungry because the food is horrible! You pay for the kids to eat and the food is gross. The fries were beyond burnt and none of the kids ate their fries! I had to order extra food and pay separately in order to feed them. When I asked for new fries and pizza since the kids had a small half of slice, I was told no. Do not have a party at this location. There are other locations that I wish I looked into! read more

Went on a date here in the middle of the day, no other customers were there. Terrible music. I can deal with that, but I could not deal with the horrible customer service. Rented shoes and bought one game, when returned to buy another game they charged us for the shoes again because "it's like renting them all over again" except it isn't. I will never return to this place. We spent close to $40 for two people on two games in an icky environment. Go to RVC lanes. UPDATE The worker that charged us for the shoes twice was in the wrong. I tried to go here for a night of bowling. It's been awhile since the last time I came here to bowl. Its crystal clear that things have changed. Maybe it's new ownership. Renovations are being done (this is a positive) the ceiling has been raised, new ordering stations for each lane,hookah now offered, and a dance floor. There are other areas still being worked on. The drink prices were too high (11 dollars for a Jack &coke, served in a small plastic cup, oh and yes, no coke but Pepsi. Really not a big deal but it's the details). I wasn't a fan of being searched to gain entry and the amount of security around. Its suppose to be a place for fun and bowling and just a good time, but this is looking like it wants to be a night club. Maybe that's the goal, but that's not why we went there, so my guests and I didnt even bother playing (overcrowded and the wait was too long) so we went to play pool. Yesterday me and my family were so exited because the great deal we found. So we purchased not one but 3 deals. But when we went there today, a girl with a nasty attitude complicated our time that I wanted to spend with my family. First Off: I showed her the vouchers that I printed at home and she said that she couldn't accept them because the bar codes weren't clear. I told her about the voucher number that works for other groupon deals. Then she started getting a nasty attitude because I told her that we came from a far neighborhood, and it was not worth coming back. Then her sister appeared in the scene defending her sister and against me, I just told them that I was a customer and that the only reason I got the groupon deal was to share a beautiful and fun time with my wife and my three kids. After a while they accepted to get the voucher number from my phone online. I didn't get why they had to waste so much time making a decision. Second: they told me that because of the 3 deals we bought that we had to use 3 different lanes and I said that we could share just one because there were three kids and my wife and I. They said in a nasty tone that, "NO you could not share it." Anyways, we started playing in just one lane because my kids wanted to play as a family and they shut off the 3 lanes until I put only 2 names in each monitor and the worst part is that nobody explained to us how to use the score board to do what they required us to do. It just didn't make any sense because we just wanted to have fun, that's all. Finally, we figured out how to use the scoreboard (Without their help or them even offering help) and after a while they allowed us to start the game. Third but not least they never gave us the popcorn that we were supposed to have with the deal. And the most confusing part was that another person literally right next to us who also bought it through groupon was told that she couldn't play today because the groupon said that she couldn't use it the day she bought it and she said that she lived far away so they let her in saying that they "weren't supposed to do that" and they got popcorn and they were treated better than us. We told them that we also lived far but they didn't seem to care(Once again, it didn't make any sense). For the record, I heard them speaking Spanish but because I complained they refused to talk to me in Spanish. Bottom line, I was expecting to have a fun time with my family but it quickly became a stressful time for my kids. Overall: I don't think it is worth coming here and we had a stressful time there. read more

Their website states they open at 0900 and their door sign says they open at 0900. Waited untill nearly 1030. No one was there. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions and even suggested party ideas on making my son's day even more special for him and his guests. If there were NO stars that's what this dump would get! I got a email today a month after a $600 party I had.. Looking for a $30 balance that I paid while I was there that night..... Here was my email back to Brenda the owner...Please keep in mind that I am from out of state as she knew (convenient) and I had no clue what this place was like.... BE AWARE this place is a SCAM! Brenda, I don't know if this email was sent in error.... I sure hope hope so... However.. Just to start I paid this balance the night of the "so called party" I had! I had all intentions of letting you know just how HORRIBLE my experience was, but time passed and then I was devastated by the storm and lost my home.... I was letting this go but because of the nerve of you to send a bill a month later I will tell you just what I think since CLEARLY you don't even follow up with your staff to see how events go. First and foremost how do you as a business woman put pictures online of another location (if they are even real) and deceive people? You TOLD me those were picture of the location I was booking.... We get there.. NO balloons like promised NOTHING on any screens saying Happy Birthday.. Your venue is a trash dump again NOTHING like the pictures you show on your website! It was like we were walking into a funeral! THANK GOD I didn't pay $100 to rent your "lounge" that was a gross run down room with a nasty old table and ripped chairs from the 80's!!! The lanes didn't even work and we couldn't even start to bowl until a HOUR after we were there! 100% RIDICULOUS! Then just as we finally got started we were getting screamed at by a group of classy people that apparently have these lanes booked every Friday.. Do you even know what goes on at your place of business ? By the way that was fun.. (especially for my kids) The Pizza came at 8pm just as my party was "over" OH and it was 1 slice per person not 2!!!!!!! Ya know I can go on and on but this really isn't even worth my time! This is probably my least favorite alley on Long Island. Their attempt to be like other higher end alleys (with leather couches, full menu, special bowling events) fails miserably. This Place SUCKS! Run away dont go inside!! Let me start off my review by saying the staff is the nastiest i have met in a so called "Family friendly bowling center". The place looks filthy, hence there is a stop work order on the front door. The staff members are either ignoring you or disrespecting you, you pick which one you rather. They are also greedy and inconsiderate. They claimed to be holding a tournament for a large grand prize, yet they didn't shut down the place exclusively for the tournament and insult and yell at the other customers to quiet down and dont take pictures of their kids because the tournament is in session. If I could give a place negative stars I would, this hole deserves two thumbs down. I've been a few times and this just definitely put a good stamp on me not returning. Online it states they accept all competitors coupons, so I found a LOCAL competitor and called to verify if they would accept the coupon. The employee who answered the phone was so rude for absolutely nothing when all I said was "it states online that you guys accept All Competitors coupons do you accept this one from AMF ?" The employee replies we aren't not amf and hangs up the phone. Worst customer service I've seen in a while. Inside the establishment isn't much better. Very cheap renovations done, it feels like everything inside is coated in a layer of grease. The bathrooms are NASTY! Clean place & you regularly see staff cleaning up to ensure a clean environment 4. Nice food choices and drinks This is a nice place to go to, could use some minor reservations but nothing is detrimental to the enjoyment factor. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them as I have not had any complaints from the 100 people per event I have taken there. I also have been happy with the service. The bowling experience itself was very nice. No waiting for lanes. My only gripe was with the servers doing the refreshments. They had no idea what they were selling. I asked about their burger and the person waiting on me had to go find someone who could tell me what was on the burger. I attended my friend's daughter birthday party at Baldwin Bowl earlier in the year. It was a fun time and I was impressed. As a result, I decided to do a belated Birthday get together for myself on 8/2/14 with a few friends at the same location. We had a blast! The food was great (catered by a local Italian Restaurant as a part of the package I selected), decent drinks, lots of parking and not far from home. The staff was very nice and our hostess, Mia was pretty cool. Brenda, the events coordinator has a great personality. She was very accommodating in booking the party package and meeting my needs. I was impressed by the follow up call to see how everything went. I'm baffled by some of the other reviews...if you want a City experience, then go to the City and pay outrageous prices for the same thing you can get locally! Being added to their email lists gives me the heads up on specials and deal which I appreciate.
